Looks good.
The currently-existing structure named Liverpool Castle is a scaled replica that was commissioned by Lord Leverhulme. Work started in 1912 and continued until Lord Leverhulme's death in 1925.
have visited many times, with kids and grandkids. Watching the children running about, it,s hard to imagine it like this.
So glad I found this. Surely Cadw would like this footage!
Many thanks Gareth 🙂 CADW did actually use some of the older version, which is now displayed in their visitor centre
Amazing
Fascinating i've lived in Lancashire nearly 70 years and I never knew Warrington had a castle of any kind before

Very nice. My son is doing a school project on Warrington Castle, aka The Mount, aka Moat Hill Castle and many other names it has gone by. Where did you get your inspiration from to develop this design? We've been trying to find resources and references for his report.
Looking good.
Just perfect
Interesting...
That was short 😁
An impressive castle even if unfinished. What also impressed me was the iron rings on the outside of the walls for tying up boats still in situ!
Very nice Sir 👌👌
Brilliant. Subscribed
Very cool!
So they built the Victoria Monument on where this was?
I could be wrong but lighting rods didn't come in till Ben Franklin's time and this fortress and village was well before his time
Went there along with 23 other castles earlier in the year.
Thank you for this. I was born and bred near this beautiful castle, they used to hold Carnivals the, where all the different Carnival Queens and the escorts would be at the centre of the castle. It was a truly happy occasion . Queens from all the surrounding villages from Anglesey would be in colour costumes. Why did it end. It was joyous for the children and adults to watch. Bring it back , I'm sure people would like to reminisce and have enjoyment
What kind of queens are you referring to? Ones with the XX sex chromosome and a uterus? ;)
@@jamesgtmoore Do you always make infantile comments?
@@leftpastsaturn67not always, I'm getting better as I age
I thought you time-traveled at first read!
The Welsh government kept this quite not many Welsh knew about it
Kept quiet? Um....no.
Very nice ! as all videos, Are you using Blender to make your Reconstructions??
We use 3DS Max :)
More trees i think it be more wooded. But not to close to the castle.
what is the music? thank you
Понравилось!
This is a great channel! Very well done on every one of these films. I'm hugely impressed.
Many thanks :)
I wonder if you’d give permission for use of one or two clips for a music video?
Hi there, please can you email [email protected] for video usage :) Thanks
On one hand, very detailed, certainly a lot of hard, skillful work. You do lose metaphorical points for the 'big metal torches halfway up a wall, outdoors, in broad daylight, wasting fuel to do nothing useful' thing, though. I know they look cool in movies, but they don't make a lot of sense for castles at the time.
nice welsh music, what is it?
Celtic Voices by Erbrugio :) audiojungle.net/item/celtic-voices/11656442?s_rank=1
really nice channel
What time in history is that intended to be? Originally the sea or perhaps a canal came up to the castle and boats would sail right up the the castle to on/off load.
Fantastic reconstruction, absolute great work! Did you use some Bethesda Skyrim Construction Set for the task? To me the features look like Skyrim.
HI many thanks for the kind words :) No the assets were from Unity Engines Asset Store called Nature Manufacture.
take away the trees. Apart from that brilliant!

This castle is a sad story. In the 1290s, Madog ap Llywellyn, a scion of the defeated House of Gwynedd, rose up against the conquering English king, Edward Longshanks. After some initial success, the rebellion was put down, and Madog's hometown on Ynys Mon (Anglesey) was destroyed. This castle was the built atop its ruins, it was the final castle built in Wales by Edward.
Hermosoooooooo
Que maravilla me encantaaaa
Really interesting. Fantastic job!
Very Nice but the drawbrige is not hinged and is far too long.
Indeed, 0:47 looks like pure fantasy
Does the music have to be so loud. Looks good except for the towers, would they really be filled with roofs like that? As a platform to fight from raised roofs would be tricky.
Thanks for the comments, the roof was not intended to be seen as it was a first person walkthrough in VR, so you would look up but never see the roof detail. Sadly the video had to be rushed for the museum to display it.
