Commodore Rediscovered is an "all-in-one" dedicated C= Channel presenting you with everything Commodore. Rather than focusing on one particular C= system, this channel will literally cover everything from the Commodore PET - Amiga CD32, and everything in between.
Classic games for every system, gameplays and reviews of "homebrew games" ranging from modern PD software - more established publishers.
Emulation tutorials are also going to find their way to the channel in which I will help you rediscover C= on modern day computers.
Think of CR as literally - a one stop channel.

Great job on C64 sid chip doing a good job. Never had C64 but what 8 bit king
OMG Stop zooming in and out . Your editing style gives me anxiety. I could not finish this video.
OMG! Why hasn't anybody else told me this and just you?
19:09 of course I had A1200 🥰
My childhood... Well actually my teenage years but still 🥰
Amazing, Wonder if the Bitmap Brothers have seen this.
I got a free copy when I went to Amiga 30 in Amsterdam which got me hooked on. I've bought I think two versions since.
Great piece of software, and you get the legal roms. Thanks for the vid, new subscriber.
its great software i allso have c64 forever to
A good video but everything you have shown has been in Amiga Forever for a long time prior to version 10. For example the .RP9 save format was clearly introduced in version 9 and has had no changes for version 10 to require a name change. I have been using Amiga Forever since the 2013 Plus edition and currently have the lifetime license. I can honestly say I was disappointed with the version 10 release making changes that did not need changing. For example, the mouse cursor screen edge release system is now on by default with no easy way to disable it for software like AMOS where it tends to release the mouse to Windows at random! Honestly, the trouble I had just installing AMOS Professional to my new personal A1200 setup using a licensed copy of Amiga OS 3.2 was hell just because of the mouse capture release system in AF10. I had zero problems in AF9 and earlier!
60 bucks is way to much for an emulator.
my fav system of all time i have c64 mini I bought c64 forever and Amiga for ever life time verion few years ago i verion 7 got dvd set
Only idiots buy this.
great
Phenomenal isn't it.
I love music in opening and ending )
Superb isn't it.
I know TED have no hardware sprites, but I have no idea is there hardware scrolling or not. I think the only better Lemmings on 8bit I have seen are on Sam Coupe.
Scrolling is there, but TED like VIC-II increase the side border width for it . Atari would just change the pitch. And scrolling is only 0..7 pixels?! Come on TED. Memory is all yours. No PLA, SRAM. Why can a write to scanline position on screen register, but not to read out pointer in memory register?
Its so nice to see huge titles still being released for these old computers! Chaos Engine for the C64 and for the Atari 8bit (Trax) what else can you ask for your 8bit machines!
Exactly my thoughts too :)
@@CommodoreRediscovered With all these new homebrew games, tonnes of online support and help for any problem, new hardware solutions adding amazing capabilities to our machines and a vibrant market....I am convince this IS the golden era of the 8bits. (plus we are able to own and enjoy more than one platform!)
Can the C64 runs Crysis?
Hello there! I just recently noticed your channel and decided to subscribe it 😺👍🕹️. Mainly, because, i meow as a retrospective gamer of the Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 😺👍🕹️. Greetings from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
Hey there. Thanks for Subscribing. You will find plenty of C64 and Amiga content here and coming soon too!
Looks really good - bravo!
Absolutely.
I remember this as soldier of fortune on mega drive and you kill humans, it becomes very hard later on!
Yup. Virtually the same game.
I hope it’s as good as Sonic REU. that’s a great port.
It certainly is a milestone for programming.
Always my go-to game when I fire up the Amiga, this looks and sounds beautiful. Well done!
Absolute classic.
That music was a total banger on Amiga and here it sounds also amazing.
Absolutely. Tecno-tastic!
So good!

The Plus/4 sure has a lot of untapped potential. Sometimes I think about applying my VIC-20 skills to Plus/4 coding. Unlike the C64, you don't have to fight color RAM raster time (you have full double buffering ... I'm an NTSC guy also, so fighting raster time on the C64 can be even tougher.
Most definitely. The Plus/4 world needs more support.
@@CommodoreRediscovered The question is ... what would really take advantage of the Plus/4's particular capabilities? With the combination of interlace and horizontal scroll alternation, it could do 320x400 resolution with lots of colors ... really awesome potential compared to other 8-bit computers, maybe for old school CRPGs or point-and-clicks. I'm not sure.
Very appreciable video, and the games have been played in a very competent way. But the flickering in Alpharay and other particulars are telling me that you're using a mediocre emulator. JustJamie, is you again in a different channel?
Hey. This is Yape emulator being used here.
@@CommodoreRediscovered which version? That flickering would have been unexpected in any of the latter versions.
@@Kekule1025 the latest
@CommodoreRediscovered we checked it and no flicker occurred, it's a mystery (or an Occam's razor case).
The "creme de la creme" of plus/4 games. :) Great choices.
Hey, thanks. Just doing my bit to support the Commodore scene.
Great review and great game!
Hey, thanks. It really is :)
Everything shown here was coded by a handful of people :-) (Dr. TerrorZ, Mad, KiCHY, TCFS and me.)
Let me chime in... 😉
Very talented people 😊 Thanks for your dedication.
Thanks for TCFS maestro from Hungary!
Hey, thanks for watching :)
So i have Amiga Forever installed on my Win11 laptop, how do i intall Aladdin 4d from CD so i can run this in one of the Amiga systems on Amiga Forever? Also, How can i access the rendered frames from A4d from the pc side of things?
Great style, great video.
Absolutely 💯
Hi Jamie! I recently picked up the older Amiga Forever Premium Edition 8 since it's just 20 USD online and has the same ROMs, etc. (and I could legitimately upgrade to the Edition 10 for 40 USD, or so, from Cloanto's site.) Do you happen to know, in Edition 10, when booting strait from the DVD containing KX Light (Knoppix Linux-based) and UAE, if this has been updated since Edition 8? When I boot Edition 8 with "af-fbtxt" (so you can see Linux booting instead of the splash logo screen), mine says "Amiga Forever KX Light - Boot code v. 8.0" and then "Running Linux Kernel 2.6.24-gentoo-R4," presumably because Knoppix is based on Gentoo. I ask because the Amiga Forever release notes don't mention changes in their KX Light environment since Edition 8. Just trying to figure out if it will be any better for me if I upgrade, or if I should just install a fresh, new Linux and FS-UAE (e.g., under latest Knoppix or Debian). For instance, one of my machine's Ethernet driver ("rtl8192se") is missing from KX Light but is in current Knoppix. Aside: I think it would be great if you'd test or show the community the "standalone" KX Light that came with your Premium Edition that doesn't depend on Windows (for those of us that don't use Windows :) ). Cheers.
Hey there. I would love to but I don't run a Linux machine nor do I own a disc.
@@CommodoreRediscovered Oh, so you didn't buy the physical media version? I see. You don't need a Linux machine. There is a full bootable Linux distro (for x86) on the first DVD (DVD 0) that runs live right from the CD (doesn't need to install to a local disk). When you boot from that DVD, it just boots right into UAE (under Linux), so you don't have to do anything in Linux to boot it. Cheers. 2:45 The first time watching, I got the impression you bought the Premium Edition, but I see, now, that you said you had the Plus Edition. :)
Awesome video. I am a proud owner of the Amiga Forver 10 Plus Edition, C64 Forever, Hyperion Workbench 3.2 and Combian by Carmelo Maiolino!. Yeah, I'm bragging, LOL. Would love to see a Combian video!
Hey, I'll take a look into it for you 😊
AF is awesome, I bought 3 copies for my friends and got a lifetime license for myself :) Currently converting EVERY GAME and application to RP9 setups :) - Also, great channel, subbed.
That's awesome!
Hey, thanks for the sub. Enjoy the channel. #CR
Nice I have a lot of good memories of Commodore.
Was you a fan or employee?
A fan had a 128 as a kid.@@CommodoreRediscovered
Subbed. AF is awesome.
Hey, welcome aboard. C=
This channel is a bleeding brilliant idea! Kudos, m8!
Hey, welcome aboard fellow C= fan 😊
Thx for sharing - music is fantastic and whatabout the gameplay 😍
Hey, no probs at all. It is a fantastic game and needs much more exposure.
I'm gonna say it before everyone else says it- 1. I love this, dropping a sub and looking forward to your content. 2. PLEASE reach out to The 8-Bit Guy at some point in the future for some collab work, you two would go hand in hand with Commodore content among others.
Thanks. I do watch the 8 bit guy occasionally. Got a little jealous in the Commodore 65 video lol
I have one of the original PETs and still code on it :)
Hey there, have you coded games at all?
@@CommodoreRediscoveredAye. A long time ago, on the ZX Spectrum. I wrote business software for the Pet. And now I'm semi retired and getting back into game dev :) Here's what I'm working on at the moment: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o4KV1rOLe9yfksY.html (very rough prototype)
Gremlin Graphics used some of my C64 sprite routines in a few of their games back in the day too.
@richbuilds_com Sounds awesome. I loved ReBounder.
@@richbuilds_com we need C= veterans and more of them that know the hardware inside out.
Somehow was waiting for perifractic to show up haha this is awesome good job!
Hey, thanks very much.
