I got a free copy when I went to Amiga 30 in Amsterdam which got me hooked on. I've bought I think two versions since.

AF is awesome, I bought 3 copies for my friends and got a lifetime license for myself :) Currently converting EVERY GAME and application to RP9 setups :) - Also, great channel, subbed.

A good video but everything you have shown has been in Amiga Forever for a long time prior to version 10. For example the .RP9 save format was clearly introduced in version 9 and has had no changes for version 10 to require a name change. I have been using Amiga Forever since the 2013 Plus edition and currently have the lifetime license. I can honestly say I was disappointed with the version 10 release making changes that did not need changing. For example, the mouse cursor screen edge release system is now on by default with no easy way to disable it for software like AMOS where it tends to release the mouse to Windows at random! Honestly, the trouble I had just installing AMOS Professional to my new personal A1200 setup using a licensed copy of Amiga OS 3.2 was hell just because of the mouse capture release system in AF10. I had zero problems in AF9 and earlier!

So i have Amiga Forever installed on my Win11 laptop, how do i intall Aladdin 4d from CD so i can run this in one of the Amiga systems on Amiga Forever? Also, How can i access the rendered frames from A4d from the pc side of things?

Hi Jamie! I recently picked up the older Amiga Forever Premium Edition 8 since it's just 20 USD online and has the same ROMs, etc. (and I could legitimately upgrade to the Edition 10 for 40 USD, or so, from Cloanto's site.) Do you happen to know, in Edition 10, when booting strait from the DVD containing KX Light (Knoppix Linux-based) and UAE, if this has been updated since Edition 8? When I boot Edition 8 with "af-fbtxt" (so you can see Linux booting instead of the splash logo screen), mine says "Amiga Forever KX Light - Boot code v. 8.0" and then "Running Linux Kernel 2.6.24-gentoo-R4," presumably because Knoppix is based on Gentoo. I ask because the Amiga Forever release notes don't mention changes in their KX Light environment since Edition 8. Just trying to figure out if it will be any better for me if I upgrade, or if I should just install a fresh, new Linux and FS-UAE (e.g., under latest Knoppix or Debian). For instance, one of my machine's Ethernet driver ("rtl8192se") is missing from KX Light but is in current Knoppix. Aside: I think it would be great if you'd test or show the community the "standalone" KX Light that came with your Premium Edition that doesn't depend on Windows (for those of us that don't use Windows :) ). @@CommodoreRediscovered Oh, so you didn't buy the physical media version? I see. You don't need a Linux machine. There is a full bootable Linux distro (for x86) on the first DVD (DVD 0) that runs live right from the CD (doesn't need to install to a local disk). When you boot from that DVD, it just boots right into UAE (under Linux), so you don't have to do anything in Linux to boot it. Cheers. 2:45 The first time watching, I got the impression you bought the Premium Edition, but I see, now, that you said you had the Plus Edition. :)

60 bucks is way to much for an emulator.
