storm splitter twin is coming all you need to do is cast molten duplication and copy the molten duplication. ss in play cast molten duplication splitter makes a copy 2 splitter in play with duplication on the stack copy duplication with twin flame making 2 more splitters 4 total then both of your spells make 2 more copies then you just cast any 2 instant and youre at 24 splitters.... i haven't sat down and planned out the deck yet but this is what i am looking at. maybe just break out old ainter twin deck and slot in storm splitters and copy spella....we shall see

This deck minus orc and bolt broke historic so add those and you have an even more insanely busted deck
I’ve been playing a very similar version of this deck for a long time (since mh3 came out). I’m playing 2 Ragavan and 2 seasoned pyromancer instead of phlage because after a lot of testing I feel confident that you don’t really wanna play 3 mana for 0 creatures with the bombardment package. I have a 76% win rate after 11 leagues
How does swapping phlage for some quantity of Chthonian Nightmare + ragavan sound in the context of modern? I am not overly familiar with the Banlist here either - lurrus companion?
@@fromheartfeltplaces_4627 I’ve been thinking about that a lot but when trying it there was an issue that graveyard hate kinda gets you :/. It’s nice that without phlage, graveyard hate does nothing against you, and people normally bring it in thinking your playing phlage

hey Dack! How come you never used ranger-captain's ability to protect your combo turns? It is just unnecessary?
Depends if your opp has interaction. Prob more useful when playing vs control decks.

I like this deck alot, but wrath the sky is so popular RN force might be a maindeck consideration instead of or beside the rebuke
I think 4x rebuke is plenty for main in this deck. Kappa can win vs wraiths. Force is great sb option tho.
Would playing a 2nd plains over a 3rd Aether Hub be better in a blood moon situation? As it allows u to bring back Phlage from gy more consistently then relying on a treasure of a ragavan or goblin shaman token which u may not always have
Played a bunch with blood moon so far, and never had issues, but it is doable switch.

@@Quack4Zac Ragavans have been much better lately, i moved up to 4x in most of my lists where they are playable
Nice combo idea, I like it. Will try it. Maybe trying a couple flare of duplication against counterspell, to seal the deal.
Jolted awake in multiples is already good play vs counterspell, flare is not really playable in this build.

It is black card which favors Grief, it's unconditional, and can kill static prison's, expedition maps and similar. Best unconditional removal for side imo, if you can support sorcery speed removal, and i think its cool rn in meta.

Great brew ! By far best shell for jolted awake i have seen so far. This looks like a real banger. I think cookbook is good here, because u do need a way to discard bolas citadel if ever you draw it. Quite a few bad hands you could get though, which didnt happen a single time this league, but a mulligan here and there and all should be fine
The fact that people still try to trophy with mill is too much. Get your broke ass a real deck 😂😂😂😂 Shit the best decks on mtgo are under 100, or rent them for less than 5 for the week. Smh.

Yeah, this one was based on idea from guy in discord, i did lot of changes playtested, done some more tweaks and now i verry happy with it

I like cutting 2 mox ambers for 2 tamiyo meets the story circle. it can turbo out turn 3 kappa consistently and trigger both asmo and basim while getting rid of redundant legends
Few questions. Why no thoughtseize mb or sb? Why static prison and nightmare only at 1x? Why 4 phlage? (Most lists run 3) What do u think about ob nixilis the adversary? Solid video + solid gameplay
Thoughtseize is only good vs stuff you cant kill or mass removal, so in current metagame that would only be Tron lists when you want to take their all is dust or ugin. In midrange matchups which are most common rn it is much better to start developing your board asap and thoughtseize is worst card in mirrors. I would rather pack extra gy hate piece or suncleanser vs wraith then play seize which will lose you lot of mirrors. Static prison is very hard to support when played on turn1 or 2, so having more then 1 in games when they are not crucial will make you have to sack them at some point and lose games. 4x Phlage is core of this deck, and best card in it, running 3 is like running 3 leylines of the guildpact in Zoo. I'm literally shocked that people are still trying to play Ob in here, i believe it is just short trend and consider it close to unplayable.

Magic in total is not just one deck in one format. And even here 7 out of 11 cards except lands that are mh3. The other 4 cards are from other sets. So what is your issue here. The only problem i have with mh3 is Nadu and Phlage. Nadu is obvious but Phlage right now is as strong or even stronger then Uro back in the day.

Any good Mainboard gy hate? I find this deck is pretty weak to board wipes and opposing phlage
Suncleanser is vs wraith, and i have 4 gy hate pieces postboard. Cling to dust is maybe maindeckable and hearse probably too. I focused on gy hate on my side and it was right call.
