Quick easy build. Jlo approves.
😂😂😂
Awesome build brother! J-Lo’s booty would approve haha
Hahahaha, my initial thoughts after seeing the “jiggliness” 😂 Thanks man!
Great build and a really practical solution to the problem.
Thank you Ross! Yeah a simple build that one my neighbors requested so took a video of the process. I might have to build one for our laundry room now 😂
Great gift for a friend and just in time for Memorial Day! Thank you all for your service! Beautiful job Joe and I like the design also!
Thank you very much Mike!
Nice looking job
Thank you John!
Nice video bro! That plexiglass cut looked smooth 👌🏻
Thanks bro! Not as sketchy as when we cut it 😂
@@Bantilloswoodshop Haha
Quick to the point as usual. Shadow box turned out great. One day I'll be cool like you and get myself a nice apron like yours :). Quick question, do these usually stand on shelves or do you hang them?
Thanks buddy! BTW dropping off the brass feet to the post office on my way to work this am! Haha, the apron does come in handy if I’m wearing a decent shirt 😂 So you can either stand it on a shelf or hand them. Depending on how you want it on your space. I still need to install the wall mounting option for my buddy, haha.
Hey all, here’s the re-upload of the shadow box video. Had to re-edit to remove some unnecessary parts. Thanks!
Wood you please post the parts list?
Hey Tim, should be in the description. If not let me know! I know it was erased out for nowhere when I first published the video.
Real nice work 🙂👍
Thank you Frank!
Great video, great explanations. Thanks!
Appreciate it JY!
That's a great idea. My router is one of my tools I wish I used more often.
Thanks Ritchie! It’s definitely versatile for so not much money. Can double as your planer and jointer if you don’t have one and it’ll cost a lot less!
Nice man! I really need to upgrade my flattening jig! Yours is slick and not very $$. I like pairing it with a torsion top!
Thanks Scott! Super smooth with these rails and they don’t like the diy plywood ones for sure. And having it portable on a torsion box keeps my shop cleaner 😂
Sweet setup. I’ve seen some folks putting in dog holes in to the table for hold downs options. I’m making a poor man version first before buying the rails 😂.
I thought of doing the dog holes or even installing t-track if I used 3/4” for the top but in the end I decided to just use double sticky tape. That worked amazing, I should’ve shown it on video. Maybe I’ll do the dog holes for weight saving. This thing is fairly heavy 😂 Thanks Paul!
Hey Joe, great assembly and demonstration video. That portable base is awesome and that wall rack for the sled assembly is killer. Great job man!
Thanks Kevin! The router sled plate you sent is on point. You can check off my router model for the fit. Keeping my eye on your dust collection solution.
Nice video brother! Keep it up 👏🏻
Thanks bro! Weird that my description got deleted somehow…
@@Bantilloswoodshop Interesting. Always post as unlisted and check everything before you publish it, at least that’s what I do.
@@TriadoMax That’s what I did. It’s been private overnight. Checked it multiple times this morning before hitting publish and checked it publishing it was there. Maybe it was a weird glitch. Just did a temp one and will fix it at home later.
Good Video...but please if you promise to provide links in description, do it!
Oh wow… thanks for letting me know Richard! I don’t know what happened to my descriptions! I had all the links there and now it’s gone! Let me fix it right away!
Made a temp description if you still need the links. I’ll fix the time codes when I get home. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Top!
😂
First nailed it!!!!!!
Ahoy Sailor! Thanks!
The benches and table turned out beautiful Joe! Curious, which Brad point pits do you use? I've had a difficult time finding descent ones.
Thank you Nathan! Here’s the link to the Brad point I use: amzn.to/44AePiw But I got mine from Home Depot which cost a few dollars more. Honestly I don’t use them often. Only when I need to transfer hole marks, haha.
You say you used 2 coats, How long do you wait between coats/ or do you do them back to back? Thanks
Yes two coats for the top. I waited 3 days. Don’t mix too much on your second coat as it won’t need a lot. A second coat really makes it shine a bit more!
Do you have a link for the cutting board feet? They look way better than what I’ve been able to find.
I’ll send it to you via messenger. It’s made by a retired Navy guy in SC.
What an amazing shop you have and those cutting boards turned out so great. Excellent production quality and a fun ending. Congrats and good luck with the channel!
Thank you very much Stephen! Pretty fortunate to have built this shop over the years and hope to share more of my projects soon! Thanks again!
Awesome!!!!
Thanks Alex! In a few months I’ll make videos of your chair! I have a lot of other projects before I can get to that!
This video gave me some ideas for a few variations of my own. Great video Joe!
Thank you very much! Thats good to know! Board design and grain layout can be pretty fun!
Nice Joe! not only is this a DIY cutting board video but an education on grain patterns. Really Nice! We all love sanding... it really shows... 🤣 Bringing the Isabella's enthusiasm in at the end was awesome as well!
Thanks brother! Hopefully the grain pattern bit wasn’t too drawn out. Yeah don’t know why I said that at all but it was too good to edit out 😂 Haha, yeah she says she’s famous now. Crazy kid.
@@Bantilloswoodshop it’s great, I have my daughters in a couple uploads too. Love having them in the shop!
@@MJLWoodWorks That’s awesome! I’ll get my kids more involve in woodworking when they get older for sure!
Beautiful workmanship! I love the walnut combined with the lighter wood. Stunning...
Thank very much Carole!
Nice boards, and good job with each step! Your shop is so nice and clean!
Thanks Scott! Trying to establish the steps so when I do endgrain boards I can refer to this video. I’m a little OCD I guess. I can’t work when there’s stuff everywhere 😂
Great video, loved the boards. That is one sweet workshop you have and a very impressive lumber rack. Great work.
Thank you Ross! I’m very fortunate to have the space for a shop as I was in a woodworking hiatus for three years due to lack of space. I see that you’re making your space work and that’s all that matters!
Great looking boards and very well put together video! 👊🏻😀👍🏻
Thank brother!
Great Vid! Feets?🤔😂
It’s the plural of a plural 😂
Came from IG, great video, subbed👍
Thank you! Subbed back!
Very nice work and informative on edge grain. Salamat po.
Maraming Salamat po!
Haha great ending brother! Video production is fire 🔥
Thanks bro! And thanks for your help!
Anytime!
Nice
Thank you!
Nice detail in tapping the threads. I have been disappointed several times with threaded inserts wearing out quickly and just bought my first tap set
Thank you! I found through some research that tapping straight to the wood is a lot stronger than threadserts. Threadserts can be durable but the way most people use it is the incorrect way.
New subscriber here. Pretty dang beautiful work. Looking forward to watching more.
Thank you for the kind words Jeff!
Excellent project video and wood build.
Thank you very much Frank!
Cheers! We expect to see more diy projects from you.
Thank you Teddy! I plan to share more in the near future!
Great video man! Subbed!
Thanks Cornelius! Subbed back! Max, talks a lot of great things about you.
Wow that's so cool 👌
Thank you Seth!
Hi Joe. Those benches are beautiful. Excellent work on the quality of the video as well! New Sub!
Thank you very much for the kind words and for the sub! I’ll keep trying to put quality content in the future!
Amazing. Why would anyone use Rubio?
My thoughts exactly! The table is holding well and still looks new after two months of daily use with two kids.
@@Bantilloswoodshop Have you tried any of the other 2c one-coat finishes? Like general or osmo?
@@jeffreyjbyron I have not but I might now and do a comparison video using different species of wood!
