The change in frame is showing the real human vs the curated social media human. The entire video is presented in the same frame ratio as an Instagram post. Every image is derivative and superficial. Until the mom post, when the frame expands and we see a real and not planned image with a real, heartfelt caption. It's emotional, raw, and meaningful. Then the frame returns and we see more generic posts.

This is gorgeous! It amazes me how Don's voice has not changed much in 50+ years. The harmonies are exceptionally beautiful. Love to see Adam Rupp singing in his beautiful tenor voice. Love your personal song. It is beautiful! Love your reaction! #HOMEFREE #DONMCLEAN

Abi broke out from behind the piano and I think this past weekend Abi showed another aggressive side of her. Taking the judges advice and getting out from behind her piano and getting intimate with the fans. I LOVED this performance and I think by stepping up a notch like she did, I think right now you have to put her as a favorite to win. I think she's going to win over some votes from other voters and give her a GREAT shot at winning this thing.

Sorry Brad, your usually so on point, but you totally missed on this one. You can not tell me that if were a judge and this lady walked out with that hand on her hip, those eye brows, then did bumps and grinds, before opening up that glorious voice, that you would not be skeptical too.

Emmy sings to you not at you. Such a difference. She reminds me of Lisa Loeb and Jewel. Love her. Enough with the loud annoying singers. Let's make soft singers popular again like Emmy

With all of the amazing vocals and talent in the competition this song and Emmy vocal and delivery and her version of the song was my favorite out of the entire 2024 Idol. She has gained so much confidence to her already amazing talent and the amazing person she is. We are all blessed we will be buying and listening to her music for years to come. i am a huge fan. Thank you for your analysis. It was perfect. My daughter is also 25 a Belmont Music grad that works for the is working for a huge Nashville label so I love watching all of these young ladies grow and it's a tough business that demands constant growth, many hours, and delivering a good product. Our present and future of Ladies of Country is bright. So proud of all these artists stepping forward and taking a chance in themselves. Their are no losers they are all better for going through this music endeavor. All have grown and the future is bright for all, just keep improving and growing in yourselves.

I cried when I first heard this and I cried now too. Emotional. Katy chose this song, not because she wanted Emmy to walk in her grandmother's footsteps, but because she wanted to show Emmy that even though she's her grandmother's granddaughter she's carving her own path in the industry and life. Oh, abs Katy could hardly get it out because she was so emotional and Like and Lionel kept telling Ryan to go the other one because they couldn't speak, and none of them did. Ryan was also visibly moved. Great performance. At this point in the competition its completely open as far as who will win. They are all amazing in their own unique ways.

Marko Purišić was the guitarist and backing vocalist in a folk metal band called Manntra for twelve years until he went solo last year. I hear The influences of Rammstein (the German band) and the style of Electric Callboy (another German band) who mix metalcore with EDM through layering their songs with a synth layer and a rock band layer and switching it up all with a driving beat running through out. Electric Callboy re-imagined the EDM song "Everytime We Touch" and made a superb version: kzread.info/dash/bejne/c6l2usd_ZcTJoag.html

This made me cry. She said in the package before the song that this was just a granddaughter singing the song for her granny. I loved her take on the song. I know the lyrics to the song but they just hit different. It was like I was hearing the lyrics for the first time. Katy had tears and Luke told Ryan to go to Lionel and Lionel told Ryan back to him because they were so emotional.
