Sprus is a natural boll receiver, bad boll passer, anticipate on my part is viceversa, fix my boll to body syntax, sir and everything you feel could be a weakness for am always worried for my bad receiving offence, ground shots still managible, but aerial ones like never learned the do's and dont's for aerial receiving, sir, cause good receiving ability manifolds quality of team play making potential , and for being a scorer, kicking and receiving are agendas, this two builds football playing, quality means to be able to receive and kick, pass a boll to any length in range sir 😂✌

Agree..be player-centered, not coach-centered. Ensure your sessions are 1. organized 2. Game-like, does it look like the game? 3. Are the players getting repetitions? 4. Is it challenging? 5. Are you making coaching points....the best ones are in the form of a question. For new coaches, catch them doing something right. The game is the best coach...so stop interrupting and let them play.

Hi CoachWG , Thank you for the tips/guidance given through this vedeo . Frankly I'm not a football coach but usually play football with Children/teenagers to improve thier football skills. Apart from the football skills mostly I face the challanges with thier behaviour. Most of the children come into argument mode(blaming each other ) during play due to fouls and it is difficult to handle them . Can you please guide me how to tackle this situation?
@CoachWG Жыл бұрын
I think it is natural to become frustrated and sometimes show displeasure when being fouled by somebody. This is easier to manage at younger ages. Testosterone plays a role with older groups. I would suggest refereeing games closely and giving free kicks, penalties against etc to avoid the fouls in the first place. Secondly the complaining I would suggest comes down to respect. Set your standards, make your decisions and if any player wishes to argue with you sit them out of the session for a period of time.

Don’t strive perfection, it is unhealthy and doesn’t improve performance. Aim for quality and let them strive for a little bit above their current quality with the aim of high quality.

So informative to watch as a new coach myself. Couldn't tell for sure but it looks like he has some notes with him as he coaches, could this be the outline of the activities or progressions? I find as a newer coach sometimes the mental effort to not forget the session details can detract from the mental space to really get stuck into coaching the players! There is only so much info I can retain if everything is new.
@CoachWG2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching ouy. It is indeed his notes. I feel there is some sort of stigma attached to coaches carrying notes, and i just dont understand why. With so much planning that goes into each session it makes perfect sense to carry either a copy of the session plan or a 'cheat sheet' outlining what your non negotiable outcome of the session are. It works for coaches at the highest levels. Good luck
@AngusUrenParkour2 жыл бұрын
@@CoachWG thank you for the reply! Totally agree, I've coached different sports in the past and it was a sign of 'weakness' to have to check a quick summary sheet, coaching shouldn't be a perfectly rehearsed performance. Very refreshing to see it from such a high level coach.
