  I got to see him and Tammy Wynette at a Concert at Dollywood. I got him to sign my Ticket stub. He was the nicest man you ever wanna meet

  Yazoo City, MS native here. My dad built custom cabinets in his house on Easy Street. Mr. Clower was a nice, humble man who lived up to his Christian faith.

  I've always loved Jerry's jokes. My personal opinion is that they're still better than Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Larry the cable guy, or anyone else except for Cousin Minnie Pearl. Jerry and Minnie are the best jokesters

  I know EXACTLY how you feel, "Music Man!" Since the news about Jim's passing popped up on my FB News feed awhile ago, I just can't quite get it into my head, that Jim is really gone now! The fact that he was only 57, (the same age as me), really puts a sting through me! Especially, since I've been experiencing some sort of heart trouble myself, lately; which I've been undergoing recent testing for, and which my Dr's. are trying to pinpoint! Jim was one ROCK SOLID, Banjo Player & fine Baritone Vocalist, & he will be VERY GREATLY missed!! Ron Abilene, TX.

  I played a gig with The Smokey Paul (Hank WIlliams' guitar player) Band on the FL panhandle with Jerry. We did a set, Jerry did one, we did one, he did another etc. The last joke he told in his first set was "Knock Him Out, John" and it took me 3 songs to get my act together and play my piano. RIP Jerry, you throwed a cravin' on me.
