I didn’t know that, but it doesn’t surprise me. I, as an American, also feel I watch too much TV. I am a TV zombie but it is not likely that I will stop watching anytime soon. Japanese people work really hard and barely have time to spend with their families, let alone having time to watch TV. When you mentioned during the video that using your normal speaking voice was loud enough for your neighbor to hear you, I thought of simple TV/radio/music use possibly being invasive too. Then I also wondered abt other normal life-routine sounds - toilet flushing, showers, tub filling, washer, etc. which can't be muffled or avoided. You must feel self-conscious abt performing those tasks, as well as enjoying listening to neighbors' activity.

And did you know? Japan's IQ average is a LOT higher than TV zombie's USA??
Great question, I did not have a TV. My news would have to come from online sources, which as we all know, is sometimes not the most reliable source 😅
I didn’t know that, but it doesn’t surprise me. I, as an American, also feel I watch too much TV. I am a TV zombie but it is not likely that I will stop watching anytime soon. Japanese people work really hard and barely have time to spend with their families, let alone having time to watch TV. They devote a lot of time to work, and there children are involved in multiple activities. This is good and bad in a way. Maybe a little TV wouldn’t hurt them :)
@@kimberdesu140 TV is another way that we are fed propaganda. The notion that we need fictional characters to watch on a screen in order to be entertained, is just one of the lies.
@@kimberdesu140 I saw some other apartments in Japan that were pretty Spartan. The floor plans are set up like a hallucination or dream. With optional ladder holes and toilets and bathtubs directly in front of windows
What's the stuff you squirted on it ?
I believe that was the soy sauce :)
Natto is really good for you, but it's slimy and disgusting. 😮
It’s interesting that people are repulsed by the slimy aspect. I find it to be kind of fun 😂 And i don’t really feel it is slimy. I think it is more stringy or gooey than slimy. But some people have texture issues so i get it in those situations. Thanks for watching !
What is the JET program ?
jetprogramusa.org Everything about it can be found at this website :)
I like how you made it pretty with the greenery and flowers. I would move the bed to the opposite wall so I could access the storage without tripping on the bed though and would have a solid wall behind the bedhead.
Thank you, and that would also be a nice way to put the bed :)
Lovely apartment please use your locks
Will do 🫡 Thanks for watching!
What is the jet program? Why are you living in Japan? Looks decent narrow and compact though.
JET Program hires people from all across the globe to teach English and exchange their culture in Japan. There can be plenty more info found online but that’s the gist of it. And I am in Japan because my husband is from here and I decided to move with him because I also enjoy Japanese culture ❤️
Cool 😎👍 yummy 😋
Thanks! Thanks for watching. If you have a chance, strawberry picking is fun. I recommend it 👍
I din 't know that the Japanese apartment are so small..!
You learn something new every day :) Thanks for stopping bye 😄
bathroom... that's just called a toilet, you call that room the toilet, calling it a BATHroom implies youre bathing in there
Sorry, sometimes it’s just a habit. Since where I grew up all the bathrooms had a toilet included. It was never separate. But i’ve become more influenced by japanese culture and now any place with a toilet is automatically the toilet to me 😂 I’m always saying where’s the toilet 😂
Actually, it's called a water closet or a half bath. A toilet is the commode or head.
Please, what is a Jet Program? How do you watch TV or listen to music with such thin walls? Esp if your neighbor is already doing so?
Everything about JET Program can be found here : jetprogramusa.org When i listen to music and watch tv I just listen at a reasonable volume. It usually isn’t bothersome :) but i would also listen using airpods
@@kimberdesu140 ▪︎ Japanese Exchange and Teaching (JET program). Interesting, I've never heard of it. I was guessing it was some sort of housing program.
Where is the living room?
This apartment does not have a separate living room. The bedroom is like my living room 👍
What is the JET program??

Is silver Sargon oh my gosh why don't you fix it up before you start showing to us?
what is sargon?
You should have clean up and organize your room before you start showing to the public, it's dirty and nasty
No it's not. What do you consider clean? An empty room that isn't lived in?
LMAO 😂 I actually did clean before making this video 😬😂
