Only a woman will get this. The entire plot is set on his girl being mad at him for spending all his money on a frivolous holiday but she actually does love him. The line "back then you were actually making money," means then her expectations were different when he had it but forgot. She stayed with him through that. Su why would he assume she dumped him just because he did all of this for her?! When she saw the ring she understood he did all of that because he wanted to propose and he wanted to give her a special proposal for Valentine's Day to make up for the last. The beauty in all of this is unspoken words and meaning. You really understand what's going on if you embody the character. We are all these characters. The woman who would rather you not waste your money when your struggling and still loves you and the max the feels shame for not being the man he thinks he needs to be. It's all pretentious anyway. You can enjoy your loved ones company without all the flashy things and silly holidays. Long time couples will understand this.

Haven't I seen Bobby Lee in Dharmann? What a crazy 180 in terms of acting.

Here in 2024. Huge fan of Bobby. The people who are saying they are surprised must not have seen him act at all. He’s always been a talented actor. He just never gets the opportunity to take on non comedy roles because he’s been type casted like majority of actors do. He’s a natural on screen and his appearance in anything is undeniably entertaining. So I’m not surprised by the presence of his talent, but I am pretty damn impressed at his talent range as an actor! Bravo Bobby Lee! - ps been a bad friend since madtv days, before your and Cheeto Santino’s bad friendship went public on the World Wide Web. Ty for the giggles boys.

I’m literally going through all of my liked videos and weeding out all of the stuff I don’t want on my liked videos. I had probably deleted like 500 at this point and I had to stop and listen to this one. (I also had to stop and listen to Theo Von talk about his relationship with his father but so what?) Goddamnit, Bobby needs a lead role in a movie, and not some bs comedy. Something real. I have a movie idea that has been festering in my mind for years but I really though Jason Alexander would be best choice for the main character, but if Bobby wants to do it, hit me up.

Something about Lee's sad demeanor resonated with me on a deep level in both this film and 'Death and Ramen'... I just want to give him a big hug and tell him everything is going to be alright. I know he's a grown man but I can't help it. What a deep and awesome individual
