When I started this channel I was in my 16th year of planting soybean on the small Family Farm. I wanted to create a place where I could share the videos I've been making with others who might be interested in seeing them. Thanks for subscribing and watching.

A little bit of lock-tight thread adhesive on the bolts will keep the depth bands from falling off.
It's a great product and works well when used as directed. www.amazon.com/Loctite-1329467-Medium-Strength-Threadlockers/dp/B009I2UC3Q/ref=asc_df_B009I2UC3Q/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693270349614&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12762410012769163853&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9009721&hvtargid=pla-312799887038&psc=1&mcid=285eca7fcac73563b484da0123806ca9&gad_source=1 Thanks for bringing this back to my memory.
I'm gonna miss ol Scotty. Hope you're doing okay, bud!
Looks great.
Thank you, Tim.
Very good video, It's good see you out and about again. I can hear the strength in your voice. I know these times are likely tough and I'm glad Stephen and you have each other to continue on with. Sicklepod and morningglory have become my main target weeds. It is concerning to me that there are very little good pre-emerge chemicals for sicklepod. I hate relying solely on post chemicals. Take care sir, yall are continuously in my prayers.
I've been completely and totally satisfied with the results I get from Liberty on Sicklepod and Morning Glory. In a tank mix where I have 1.5 oz of liberty per gallon knocks a homerun on those two nemesis weeds, Sicklepod and morning glory. RoundUp alone doesn't really do much. Stephen, to me has been a gift from God, a true blessing he has been. Thank you very much for watching the video and leaving me a comment to enjoy. Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. 🙂🙏🙂
You Guys sort of threw me a Curve....... When I read "Burn Down" BURN DOWN to me is a complete KILL.... Nothing left alive and growing Which when we Strip-Tilled Cotton & Peanuts we did, So You scared Me!!!! Good to see an effective POST Emergent, Application instead.....
On my part it was a poor choice of words. I did think about it afterwards, but neglected to change it. David, I hope things are well with you. It's nice to see you here, my friend. 🙂🙏🙂
You prompted me to change the title of this video. I think we will both find it more correct now. 🙂
Man yeah, that worked out perfectly!!! Really love the drone footage of the burndown status!! Thank you Mr SBF, yiu and Stephen are doing well!! 😁😁👍👍👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🌱🌱🌱
Nelson, my friend. Thank you very much for being here. It means a lot to me. 🙂🙏🙂
Great results SBF and Stephen . At this time do you think you have killed the weeds as these pictures look to show spectacular results? As I recall over time in previous years with similar crops you have had similar looking results (ie defoliate the weeds) only for them to fight back and bring further issues later in the crops life. Best wishes from Dan Whiteford
First off hi, Dan, great to see you here. Dan, there were 2 issues here. First issue was improper use of hersides in other words, not dosing strong enough. Under this condition, the weeds did return to be a problem. After overcoming that problem, all that was left to contend with was what's referred to as long season germination. Which morning glory and water hemp are both capable of. This reason is why I consider row canopy at the earliest possible time to be so important. I think long season germination is going to be an issue, but on a plus note with the row spacing matching up to the Tires Like it does probably won't be much drive down on a second spray pass. Time will tell thanks for your comment, Dan. 🙂🙏🙂
You guys put a hurten on those Weeds. Nice work . We just keep going and do what we can -- Take breaks when you need it SBF. 🌿🌿🌽🌽🌽
Peter Thank you very much, and thanks for being here. Supporting the channel by watching the videos. 🙂🙏🙂
Good to see you out in the fields SBF - Weeds sure loved all the rain - Stephen has that tractor dialed in - good job guys
Yes, Stephen did a fine job. He definitely paid attention to what he was doing, so pleased with him. 🙂🙏🙂
Looking good ✌🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
John Thank you very much, my friend great to see you here.🙂
That was a stunning kill SBF, thanks for the update
Jan Thank you very much great to see you here, my friend. 🙂🙏🙂
Beans are looking good and the spray job worked well. Take care. Thx
If we can continue to get rain, I think this is going to be a good crop. Thank you very much for being here Supporting the channel by watching the videos. 🙂🙏🙂
👍👍
Thomas Thanks for watching and being here. 🙂
Always thought that was incredible how resilient the beans are to be hit so hard and come back. Since Scott chose the smaller tractor to work with this year, about how many more rows can be worked into the same size field?
Actually, I was planting on a fifteen inch row space Because I wanted to ensure I could make canopy within a reasonable time to block out sunlight and put a stop to any further weed germination. These rows are between 19 and 20 inch spacing, so there's less rows than what I would have had. Scott was concerned about the drive down. Because tires would go over the plants and mash them down. It would take them about a week to recover fully. Good to see you here son. Thanks for taking time out of your life to be here. 🙂🙏🙂
That cleaned up really nice! My soybeans are looking pretty weedy, hopefully I can get the co-op out to spray them soon. Thank you for the update Mr. Soybean Farmer! Hope you have a good one, Sir!
Evan, Hope you can get the co-op out there soon to take care of your beans. Thank you very much, Evan, for being here watching the videos. 🙂
Glad to see you both getting out there God Bless You Both.
Could not have done it without Stephen, so yes, both of us had to be out there. Thank you very much for being here watching the videos.
Scott had done a great job setting up the planter and planting. You have Stephen well dialed in on spraying and Stephen did a great job. God Bless you all and the Little Farm.
My friend, thank you so much for realizing Stephen was doing the majority of the work by driving the tractor for me and yes, he paid attention to what he was doing and did a fine job. Always a true treasure to me to find you here in the comments. My friend🙂
@@SoybeanFarmer3300 Continueous prayers for you and Stephen.
Wayne thank you my good friend. 🙂🙏🙂
Nice
And sweet too🙂 Thank you very much for being here, Gene 🙂
Ohh Yeah, now that's what I'm talking about!!!
Stephen was driving the tractor so I have to give him the majority of the credit because he was paying attention to what he was doing. But I did mix the tank. 🙂 Thank you very much for being here. My friend always a pleasure for me to find you here in the comments.🙂
Looks like you got a good scald on them weeds, bud!
Yup, put a burn on Em for sure. Great to see you hear in the comments. Thank you so much for taking time to be here. 🙂
Perfectly done 👍
I'm giving Stephen the credit for paying attention to what he was doing while he was driving the tractor. So yes, Stephen, job well done. Thank you. 🙂
👍🏻💪✅
Thank you, Andy. I'm giving Stephen the credit. After all, he was driving the tractor and he did pay attention to what he was doing. Andy, thank you for being here, my friend. 🙂
What chemicals? Looks great
Liberty and RoundUp both at 1.5 ounces to the gallon Plus 32 oz of AMS in the tank. 🙂
A job well done!! Thank you SBF!!
I mixed the tightmix. but Stephen drove the tractor And it was his attention to detail bringing about such a fine result. As in no skips. Good job Stephen. 🙂
@@SoybeanFarmer3300 you keep showing him the way, he'll keep doing well!!
Ed, I believe that to be a truth.
Perfect job
Stephen yep it was his Attention to detail. that brought about such fine results. After all, he was driving the tractor. Thank you very much Stephen. 🙂
Good to see you 2 out getting this done. May God bless your efforts.
Thanks 👍
Needless to say, it's very good to see you posting again. Despite the neck brace you look and sound more like your old self! Always amazes me how the Lord holds us in His arms while we heal.
Bill, my friend, you sure said it here. There is absolutely positively no way I could be doing and accomplishing the things that I am doing without God holding me firmly in his grasp. Thank you so much for being here in the comments section. I always enjoy seeing what you have to say to me. Thank you, my friend. 🙂🙏🙂 🌽🌽🌱🌱
Man thank you for this. I feel you when you thanked God for these small but huge things that can be such a headache when trying to work. God bless you brother.

@@SoybeanFarmer3300 thank you so much. I'll see tomorrow, bought a 3530 (I'm from Uruguay and it's a deere model made in Argentina) and I'm hoping it's the same issue you're having because I couldn't move any bales. You have a new subscriber I'll be watching more content, have a nice day.
I hope the issue works out with your 3530. Thank you very much for subscribing to the channel, and I look forward to talking with you more later. God bless you, my new friend. 🙂🙏🙂 🌱🌱🌽🌽
I'm sure cousin Scott would be well pleased with The guidance you're providing Stephen. Praying for a favorable growing season health and comfort.
Caleb As always, thank you so much for being here in the comments. There's a calm, quieting comfort in your words. Please come back as often as your time permits My friend, and Brother in Christ. 🙂🙏🙂 🌽🌽🌱🌱
Caleb, I am sharing this with you with hopes it might provide you with a laugh. Or at least a smile on your face. Scott and I were reading one of your comments on his channel when I asked him how to pronounce your name. Knowing Scott would know because Scott was so much better at being a people person than I am. He replied, like in the Bible. To which I responded, you mean like Joshua's sidekick? Scott laughed in that warm way of his to let me know It would all be okay and said yes, Jim, just like Joshua's side kick. Caleb, My name is Jim, and I would like to be your friend. 🙂🙏🙂
Thanks Jim that gave me a great laugh, believe me I've heard all sorts of people struggle to pronounce my name. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm glad to be your friend, keep up the good work!
Caleb thank you very much for your friendship. 🙂 means a lot to me. 🙂🙏🙂 🌽🌽🌽🌱🌱🌱
Good to see you posting a video - like old times again. Nice that Stephen is stepping in and helping. I'm sure that Cousin Scott would be very proud.
Stephen has been a treasure and an actual joy to work with. I hope Stephen will like and decide that he enjoys Farming, so he and I can continued to do it for as long as possible. Charlie, my friend, thank you for being here. God bless you. 🙂🙏🙂 🌱🌱🌽🌽
Good to see you soybean farmer. I'm sorry about what happened with Scott. I always enjoy y'all's videos.
I miss Scott each day. There's always an empty spot because he's not there. I guess it's going to be like that for a while now. Only God can get me through this. So I turned to Him in my time of need. Thank you for your kindness, and thank you for being here. 🙂🙏🙂 🌱🌱🌽🌽
Glad to see another video from you soybean farmer. Starting to sound like your old self again. Continued prayers for your health and all of cousin Scott’s family. He may have went home but he sure did leave a good looking crop for you and Stephen to tend to. God bless y’all!
Yes, I'm consoling myself with the knowledge of how cousin Scott is in a much better place. This is helping me a lot. I'm not missing him so bad, but I have to admit I still reach for the phone to text him. 😥 Time makes things better, so I'll just keep passing the time and hopefully This empty feeling will pass or at least heal some. Crops, all looking really good. We've had good timely rain since we finished spraying. So I thank God for this. Thank you very much for taking time out of your life to watch the video and leave me a comment to enjoy. 🙂 🌱🌱🌽🌽🙂
Hello my good friend. So good to see you out and about. Coffee weed and morning glory aren't too hard to control it is when you have palmer amaranth (pig weed) and such that you have to break out the big guns. You sound a little tired from your walk so take it easy and don't push it. Cousin Scott God rest and keep him would surely be proud of the two of you. A fan from middle Ga...
Likewise. My good friend, Johnny. It's great to see you here. Always, always a great pleasure for me to find you here in the comments My good friend, Johnny. Yup, it aint a tank mix if it doesn't have some form of generic liberty in it. Learned the hard way, but praise God I learned. Missing cousin, Scott each day. I've got to get past that and move on by realizing He's in a much better place and 1 day I will see him again. Till then, I push forward. Johnny, thank you for being here. Means a lot to me. God bless you. My friend. 🌽🌽🌱🌱🙂

Thomas, thank you very much.
I know that Scott is proud of Stephen and you for taking care of the crop that he helped get started.
Scott was the major driving force in getting this crop put in and set up ready to go. I really hate he didn't get to see it here in person How well that tractor lined up on the spray job. Thank you very much for being here. 🌱🌱🌽🌽🙂
God bless you, Mr. SBF. It is all looking good. I know he's happy it worked and Stephen sure did pick that up pretty well. Thanks for sharing it with us.
