    Thank you very much for your prayers. It gives me a great happiness to be able to say God healed me. I knew that God had healed me but the doctor without a request from me wanted to do another test called a bronchostomy where they actually take a sample of the tumor and test it. The test results came back saying the tumor was benign no longer growing and no longer spreading. I give glory to God for this and I thank Him for watching over me and providing for me I also thank you for your prayers. 🙂🙏🙂

    Sure glad you are still making videos and keeping us updated on the "Little Farm". You might want to search out a corn head for the 3300, at least see what's available in working condition. 200 plus bushel corn should be achievable but will really test either the JD or Gleaner combine.

  • @SoybeanFarmer3300

    @SoybeanFarmer3300

    Good news cousin found another Gleaner combine, is supposed to be in a lot better shape than the one who's been running he'll get it here to the farm in a couple of weeks and start going over it to make sure it's in a good condition so, God has provided again to take care of our needs. Even better news they did another test on my lungs called a bronchostomy where they took an actual sample of the tumor and then some other samples of some other things that were going on there. the tumor has been pronounced by the doctors as being benign and the other thing turns out to be a bacterial infection currently being treated with antibiotics hopefully this treatment will get rid of this bacterial infection and my lungs will actually clear up for the first time in about 2 years. God is good because it is God who healed me will let the doctors think they had a part in it too cuz it makes them feel good. 🙂🙏🙂

    Ed my friend thank you for your continued positive statement concerning how my voice sounds. I got some good news I want to share with you. The cultures from the bronchostomy procedure are back and they have stated the tumor is now benign. Doctors are saying their radiation therapy in conjunction with the chemotherapy has set the tumor into remission. Now all I have to do is gain 30 lb and get back to feeling decent because as I think we have already said this procedure certainly took a lot out of me. Have you read the Jeff Bridges story. He had cancer was fighting it with chemotherapy and then contracted the coronavirus. The magazine article I read stated it took him just about a year to get back to feeling good. You can catch a glimpse of him on TV now playing his guitar promoting the vaccine. Back to the video I believe cousin Scott has knocked it out of the park and has a well-established corn crop out there in that field. We got rain yesterday which really brought that crop back to looking really nice. For the most part we've been participating in the international Heatwave here in North Carolina where it's been really hot and really dry but God has seen fit to provide for us and take care of us so I believe cousin is blessed. Ed thank you very much for your kind words and for being here. 🙂

    We've been on Liberty program now for about 5 years. Roundup got to where it just didn't work. after water hemp came in here Round Up wouldn't even touch it. Timely application of Liberty herbicide is very important. I resisted for several years but finally yielded to the fact that Liberty needs to be applied in the middle of the day with bright sunshine. The evaporation rate just didn't make sense to me but after I yielded the performance of the Liberty herbicide was near 99%. Thanks for watching. 🙂🙏🙂

    Corn will always outperform soybeans financially as long as you don't short the fertilizer. Everyone I know who gets less corn than their neighbors is because they short the fertilizer. Hope you're feeling better and they have a handle on your treatment.

    It's the nitrogen cost that's got me a little bit spooked. Around here the cost of nitrogen has gone through the roof. And yes I'm fully aware that corn takes a tremendous amount of nitrogen just to make corn. if the cost of nitrogen was down to where it was about 3 years ago I don't think I would be a spooked about the whole thing. Good news doctors wanted to perform a procedure called a bronchostomy in order to determine what was actually going on inside of my lungs. While they were there they took a sample of the tumor and they pronounced the tumor to be benign. They also found out the overly Abundant amount of sinus mucus was being caused by a bacterial infection which they are currently treating with a regiment of antibiotics. Hopefully these antibiotics will clear up this bacterial infection and my lungs will get back to where they were about 2 years ago. Thanks for taking time out of your life to drop by the channel and watch the videos. 🙂🙏🙂

    @@SoybeanFarmer3300 It is great to hear from you and better yet to hear a more encouraging health report. You and Bandit are two of my oldest subscriptions and I feel like you're part of my family. Corn is simply a numbers game. 1 unit of nitrogen to every bushel you expect to harvest. There is a number of ways to apply that nitrogen, in furrow when planting, knifing before with anhydrous or after, Y-Drops post emerge and probably others I am forgetting. You also have the benefit of residual nitrogen by virtue of many years of raising beans which generates nitrogen. Other considerations for you are planning for 4 times the hauling you are used to. I would think that rotating between corn and beans would be beneficial to the ground and even adding wheat with a second crop of soybeans would help. In my mind, it's like Genesis says, we are given the responsibility of caring for the creation. We should care for the ground and everything we are blessed with... like we're going to give account tomorrow.

    What year would make the farm the first for your family?

    1908 was the year great-granddaddy traded a river bottom Farm of 64 Acres for this Farm of 57 Acres. He wanted to get his mother my great great grandmother off that River Bottom because the doctor said all that moisture was the cause of her health problems. The original old home place still stands but unfortunately back in 1992 when my grandmother died my daddy and his sister decided to sell that house and one acre of land we were blessed with good neighbors who have been here ever since. North Carolina has a program where you can register your farm as 100 Years of continuous farming. Scott's Sister Amy has given some thought to registering the farm in that program I think it would be pretty cool because you get a really neat sign to put up there on the highway. I moved over here in 1998 and have had a wonderful life ever since. Living in a neighborhood is really not living but most people will never know that until they enjoy the privacy of actually having some acreage. Thanks for asking and more so thank you for being here. making videos is no fun unless you got somebody to watch them. thank you for taking time out of your life to be here watching the videos. 🙂

    @@SoybeanFarmer3300 well that's a cool story. I think Scott or his sister or you should go ahead and register the farm. That would be cool. They have something similar here in Nebraska called the farm families pioneer award.

    How long has your family been on your farm?

    Since 1890. My ancestors have been in the area since 1866 when they came by wagon train from Wisconsin. I believe they sent a couple men out the year before to scout homesteading possibilities in Nebraska. This was just Nebraska territory as it didn't become a state until '67. Anyway 42 families came on that wagon train. In town there's a street named after that wagon train's trail boss.

    That's awesome history thank you for sharing that with me. There's a TV series comes on Sunday night called 1883 it's about a wagon train leaving from Fort Worth Texas headed out to Montana. I think the people putting this together are doing a pretty doggone good job of it portraying how hard life was back then.
