Díky a přeji dobré světlo.
Tam probíráme všechno a ještě o něco víc detailněji.
Next time can you SHOW don’t tell?

Thanks for this tutorial very good, I have two questions: 1. When I tilt the camera for the the second and third row the front of the lens is not in the nodal point, do you compensate for that by shifting the camera back or do you just skip that? 2. When I stitch my photos, when zooming in 100% I can see blurry parts in the photos while most of the photo is very sharp, do you know what the blurry parts comes from bad stitching or bad camera technique?, I am using adobe camera raw, I shoot everything in manual mode. I have been trying to shoot multi row landscape panoramas with close objects using 50mm or 35mm prime lenses
First of all, thank you for the compliment on the video. Now to your questions. When using a nodal rail, I have the camera moved back and the nodal point resolved for the first row. If I tilt the camera down for the second or third row, it's no longer necessary to move the camera back again. I would only consider moving the camera back if using an ultra-wide focal length. But there's no need for precise measurements on how much to move it. Just a small adjustment back should do the trick. And your second question: In which software do you stitch your panoramas? The blurred parts often occur in multi-row panoramas. This is usually caused by control points overlapping across multiple rows, leading to local blurring in the stitched panorama. Some panorama stitching software allows for masking similar to Photoshop, so you can define which parts of the photos should not have control points. This solution helps in 95% of cases.
@@jansmidphotography Thank you, very good, one last question, I am using Photoshop do you have experience from PTgui? if yes, is it easier to fix this issue with blurred parts in PTgui than in Photoshop?
@@tiptop9909 I'll answer simply: PTGui is the only reasonable choice. While many photo editors can stitch a panorama, only PTGui allows for significant intervention in the stitching process. Its masking feature is particularly well-executed. If you’re shooting panoramas with exposure bracketing, you’ll need the PTGui Pro version. By the way, if you haven't tried panorama with exposure bracketing yet and you're looking for some information, a new video on this topic will be available on our channel in a few hours. It covers panoramic photography combined with exposure bracketing.
I have a detailed 25-page tutorial on PTGui specifically for landscape photographers (covering projections, masking, control points, stitching error corrections, etc.). However, it's currently available only to participants of our photo expeditions.
@@jansmidphotography Thanks for this tutorial series I have learnt a lot, I have downloaded a trial verson of PTGUI The program comes with a high price tag but it is very good.

few videos with few views yet 5k subs?
Thanks for checking out our channel and for leaving a comment, We've only just started making videos a few weeks ago, but we're excited to see our subscriber count grow to almost 5k, and number of views to 61k. It's been amazing to connect with viewers from all over the world. Some of our videos have been shared around, while others have been found by people naturally. We're working hard to keep creating weekly content that people enjoy, and we're grateful for any support.
So here is this expensive lens, and one of Chez best animal fotographers, and we are not going to show you any pictures he made with it. Very weak. We won't show you an example of the alledged great Bokeh, or how many sharp images we got out of the autofucos while shooting a fast series.
Thank you for the heads-up, it's obviously my fault. For all the reviews on the Sony A9III, we immediately included a link under the video where it's possible to download the RAW files. I forgot to do that here. Mea culpa.. So, I'm correcting the mistake. A selection of some RAW files is available at the link here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1HVl5j1-tmYR76uM_n57bjP1lTMS4oPyH?usp=share_link Set: Sony A9III + Sony FE 300 2.8 Perhaps I'll just add a few minor points. Primarily, we invited Michal Hurník and others to test the Sony A9III camera. We got the 300 2.8 lens as a bit of a bonus. We don't see ourselves as sophisticated lens reviewers outside our category, which is landscape photography. That's why we also called our video "First Impressions." We're not pretending it's some in-depth review. On the other hand, I have photographed with similar lenses in my life. That is, with prime lenses 300 and 400mm with an aperture of 2.8. And honestly, I don't know what new and interesting things can be said about these lenses. They are the absolute top in their category, and it essentially doesn't matter whether they are made by Sony, Nikon, or Canon. Their character is practically identical. Now and then, some so-called innovation appears, which, however, has its limitations, such as the Fresnel optical element. Honestly, the only really interesting thing about this lens is how small and light it is. Otherwise, its quality is absolutely identical to similar exclusive telephoto lenses with the same aperture :)
I am returning mine after 5 days of use ! this camera is definitely not for flash photography/ studio ! first of all shutter speed goes at max at 16000 shutter speed at multiple mode shoot only. 80000 shutter speed is only in single mode shoot! color shits are all along those variable speeds you need to sync flash manually in order to shoot with variable shutter speed, and it's time consuming, and i suspect that its still not accurate and it might be the reason for power color shits strength light intensity inaccuracy .Another issue is the noise and Aperture change at values like f8 noise is so big and noticeable that it makes picture not usable bottom line its a real downer on photography side but videography is definitely a big high
Well after a few days of testing and feedbacks, I think most photographers would agree that in some ways this is an effort to move technology forward. And at the same time that it's really only a camera for photographers of super fast actions, i.e. fast sports, fast dancing, etc.
I have the A1 as well trust me it does better with studio fast moving subject cause it’s accurate on all accounts at Shutter speeds of 10000 no sweat I personally think that this camera does well without flash ! The inaccuracy of sync flash with intensity of light shifts is just unacceptable and if you change aperture while strobe are on you will need to tweak back manually the flash speed sorry but it’s really not usable for flash photography right now maybe in the future they will find a solution . As I say it’s ground breaking for videographers but not for photography unless you use the camera without flash then is great for some .
@@yohannsphotographyvideogra9542 One can certainly agree with that. By the way, I have an A1 too and I certainly wouldn't change it. On the other hand, the A9III was definitely not designed for landscape photographers like me. Unless the Aurora Borealis went crazy and started dancing so fast that 30 fps,. what the A1 has, wouldn't be enough :D
Okay. The flash synchronization test failed to work at higher shutter speeds...why? What flash system were you using?
I honestly don't know why. It just happened and we had no control over it. As far as the flash system, we wanted to use battery-powered wireless flash GODOX AD600BM, with High-Speed Sync (HSS), 600Ws.

sony fast but colorless
I use Sony in the past 5 years , I own 4 cameras (one is video camera). Maybe every time it is in focus but I don't know if what is in focus is what you need to be in focus kzread.info/dash/bejne/a4h-raylnsjOfbw.html 3.42/43. Besides the fact that you never (in the real situation) want to shoot the back of the head. The camera (I suposed and I hope ) is wow, but you don't do a good service for it...
Oh man. Really? And we tried to make a true assessment of A9III. We'll try harder next time:) But you know what? Maybe it's because I only have one camera, the A1, instead of 4. I'll try to buy three more cameras and maybe my videos will be better for it :)
@@jansmidphotography the point about numbers of Sony cameras was to say / prove that I like Sony... The fact that you choose to make jokes about me doesn't change anything, but it proves something... I expected you to bring counterarguments... and that says it all ;). The next time you make a presentation/review, repeat it until you get it ;), it's not hard, you just need dedicated time for it. I apologize for my poor English.
AF subject tracking part, "looks" impressive, but I don't think this was a truly difficult task for a camera... She was fast and her show was impressive, but camera doesn't care if she moves a lot and quickly so long as actual focus distance nor focus points move slowly. Only difficult instances, which included rapid changes in focus points, were two drops at 2:25 and 2:33. Going through these at 0.25x, camera missed focus on maybe 10+ frames on these two occassions if you were shooting continuously. This is not to trash talk A9III, its very impressive that software managed to keep finding her face, head or body (almost) all the time but with relatively slow translational movement, I'd say a D850 or even older D800 could have tracked her just as good. Sure a D850 wouldn't care about her face all that much, she'd be a bunch of squares either in phase or moving out of phase at walking speed and that is (kind of) my point. With relatively slow translational movement, f/1.2 actually helps camera's AF as everything else is blurred out nothing else looks like a face or an eye, and should it loses eye tracking and swiches to area af or phase detect sensors, only her face or body will be in focus, so camera keeps tracking it. f/1.2 would have been problematic, if say, she ran into the camera and did a backflip.
Not impressed ...wanna see great photography...check out a national geographic from 1958....my favorite camera is a Nikon d200 ...CCD sensor with a AI-s manual lenses ....in low light you need flash ....it tests your skill but some of the results are magical ....
Of course. For example, many photographers remember not only the Nikon D200, but also the Nikon D700 or the Canon 5D Mark II. Neither of these cameras is suitable for my style of shooting (for example, aurora borealis panoramas). But neither is the Sony A9III :)
📸
Turn off the lights until it's half dark and then let's talk about AF speed. With all due respect to your work and the dancer's work, gentlemen :) but then the hard work of the AF system and the photographer himself begins :) Regards and I wish you more successful tests :)
Thanks for the comment. Just to clarify - we did the tests in a different light :) Everything is in the previous video including the evaluation. More info is also in today's short. Unfortunately the short is only in Czech with English subtitles.
@@jansmidphotography Thank You :)
@@ziggyziggyz1756 You're welcome. I might just add. Our goal is not to glorify the A9III, but to evaluate it in a relevant way. So we tried to approach it responsibly. At least I hope so :)
Sony is made for Asian and Caucasian .... try anything African it can't find an eye
A on je to skoro full time job pro dva lidi, takže když už se s tím se...děláme, tak ať to má nějaký zásah...i za cenu východňárské angličtiny. Ono se to do budoucna zlepší :)
Great video! Thank you, Jan and Martin for carefully explaining in a practical way this method. To expose for the darkest image in the sequence simplifies the technique and it really makes a difference in the final image.
Thank you very much! 😊
its no "game changer" for me!
Well it's not a game changer for a lot of photographers 😊
@@jansmidphotography Maybe not even most!!
It is a specialized camera for a very narrow group of photographers. I believe it is a game-changer for them. For the rest of us, it is an interesting device that we have no way to utilize.
While I was out photographing today a helicopter flew overhead and I shot with my Sony A1 interested to see if I would see any rolling shutter. At least for me there was no apparent rolling shutter and I was completely satisfied with the results. I would rather have the extra megapixel of the A1 than global shutter as a wildlife photographer.

Skvělý video a trénink angličtiny zároveň😄.
