As a guitarist, I was of course an Eric Clapton fan in my 20s. Now I'm a Ginger Baker fan (still as a guitarist).

Jack Bruce's Scottish accent adds so much. Clapton's voice never better. Baker's drumming always interesting and perfectly textured. I listen over and over and am never bored!

Has any singer with a merely adequate voice done so much with it as Clapton? Which I guess makes the question itself faulty.

I can't imagine the feeling you must have when at the end if your guitar solo Ginger Baker looks at you smiling letting you know "darn you are good "

Strat is not the right guitar for this song, no matter how many pedals you use or how much you modify it.

When you listen to Ginger playing the drums it's like thunder. How 3 guys could make such a big sound is beyond me. I was really sorry to hear he had passed. And Jack Bruce, too. Cream was one of the greatest ever. Without a doubt if you listen to their whole library.

Did u ever put your foot in a fire and think I'll never forget this, Jack, what a man, his voice, unique so strong and I think, apart from all else, he is my favourite singer, what a voice apart from and besides his inimitable bass playing. Blessings to Jack.

I never heard a convincing guitar solo on this track. The best version at "Rockpalast"was killed by a bad,Andy Summers style, high frequency guitar solo. I wonder what Scott Walker would have made with this great Material.
