Cream Reunion Tour - May 2005 - Royal Albert Hall
Eric Clapton was sick with the flu when they recorded this, but when snaps into that solo, man it's amazing. If I didn't already play the guitar, this solo'd make me want to play.
Also, I hadn't noticed how much Clapton's voice had inproved since the 60's, but it's an amazing Change.

Cream always rises to the top.....this night was no exception......The ultimate Rock Trio of all time.....
And today, Oct. 6, 2019, we lost Ginger Baker...temperamental, wild, ass-kicking drummer...so sad...but so glad that his music is recorded here for all time. RIP Mr. Baker..you made an indelible mark on this old planet, and on this old music-loving woman. Thank you!

I have never heard the bass played like that by anyone, anywhere! Man, that was phenomenal. I really dig these guys. They are all "gods"! Amen1
Rest In Peace Ginger Baker 😓😓 Thank you for the Greatness!! Rock on !!
RIP Jack and Ginger. The world of music mourns. Eric remains to remind us of three legends.

Great voice. We will always have him and his music in our head
I'm really impressed with how when eric solos, it doesn't feel like the song looses it's balls, that's tough to do without a second guitarist
No one like this today the music rain in their veins and into their very souls. What a great times these guys gave us. Lovely memories
The best music never dies...
Did u ever put your foot in a fire and think I'll never forget this, Jack, what a man, his voice, unique so strong and I think, apart from all else, he is my favourite singer, what a voice apart from and besides his inimitable bass playing. Blessings to Jack.
50 years later, where have the years gone too? wow.

Because when it's that that charismatic, that melodic, that perfect a riff, that well performed by THAT TALENT..........it's a BEAUTIFUL thing and we can't help but have our emotional chords struck. ~G.

I just heard this particular track; they sounded as good as they did 45 years earlier. I cannot listen to the music that has been playing on the radio for the past 15 years. This music is timeless. ENJOY

I started listening to country when the "rock" stations started playing rap crap and hippity hoppity silliness.
I agree with an earlier comment. This is the old school teaching the younger generation of today how its supposed to be done. At 3:55 starts a straight jam session. This is the great music of yesteryear
These Old Men perform better Live than any act today. Fucking Love it!!

Grew up on these guys. Classic music and awesome generation to have lived through. Like going back in time. Rock on.
Simply amazing. I cant believe that at their age they can still sound as good if not better than ever! It says a lot about their talent. Right there is where you see the difference between a truly talented band,or just a flash in the pan. I take mt hat off to you guys.
Loved Jack's fretless bass playing. ..different dimension. ..they all sound so crisp and clean. ..fabulous!
RIP Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce. Along with Eric Clapton, Rock's first great supergroup!!
When you listen to Ginger playing the drums it's like thunder. How 3 guys could make such a big sound is beyond me. I was really sorry to hear he had passed. And Jack Bruce, too. Cream was one of the greatest ever. Without a doubt if you listen to their whole library.

Hi! To all You modern day computer-musicians out there: Sit down, shut up and listen to grand masters like these guys who know how to rock! Just amazing, these guys get even better with the years...The mileage has ripened these guys like some excellent wine! Thank You!
Perfect. I feel like we are all back in the 60's in the white room. I just love this song. Another terrific song by Cream.
36 1/2 years after they broke up: ****ing awesome.
The best lead guitar, bass guitar combo ever. Nobody comes close.
I've been seeing bands since 68, and the Thursday night at the Albert Hall was the best thing I've seen and heard in my life. Definitely the best £125 I've ever spent, and makes up for the 37 year wait, coz I couldn't get near a ticket for the farewell concert. I don't give a monkeys whether Clapton's playing a Gibbo or Fender; they've moved on as musicians over the years, and if that's the instrument he's happy with, that's OK by me. I'm off to play this on my guitar now (a Godin, not a Gibson
Cream. What more can I say.
Man, I love this band!! Listen closely to Jack and Bruce workin' it during the solo!! Out.stand.ing!
best version of this solo on youtube in my opinion
This band and this song made me fell in love with rock and roll. I was 9 years old when i play that record,43 years ago.
One of the best groups
Clapton es de otro planeta.....
This is my favorite Cream song. Clapton did a good job sharing vocals in a song that was originally sung totally by Jack Bruce. In Clapton's autobiography (which I recommend to all of you), he says that he was very happy with the Royal Albert preformance and dissatisfied with the Madison Square Garden concerts that Cream gave later that year. He basically says in his book that they did the Madison shows becuase of the tremendous payday that they received.
I am 57 and have played all their songs throughout my life and still do . I also picked out each and every song on my own and they are all correct!! Makes me proud of my ability and my ear LOL
These boys rock it out like no others.............................God bless 'em all.
Great performers, great music, great sounds!! Who cares about anything but the sounds!!
Jack Bruce's Scottish accent adds so much. Clapton's voice never better. Baker's drumming always interesting and perfectly textured. I listen over and over and am never bored!
I believe I was about 15 when this group came out with this song. Has been one of my most memorable favorites. I'm 67 now and still Rock to these guys. Cheers
Thank you, Cream, for this masterpiece. It moves me to tears every time. Beyond rating, or criticism.
What a concept...what a band...it was a special time with Cream on the top...
This concert was an absolute joy to watch. I only wish I could have had the honor of seeing it live rather than on PBS, but I still feel fortunate to have seen it at all. They were so exquisitely strong and tight. What legends - thanks, guys, for giving us this legacy.
THREE GREAT VIRTUOSO'S SO TALENTED R.I.P. JACK @ GINGER AND THANKS FOR EVERYTHING.
Rich uncle sent me to a different world back then. At least I had a room with one electrical out and got a cheap reel to reel tape player and recorded their music on it and listened with headphones. At night after flying missions of insanity, Cream sent me to yet another planet, where I got a few hours respite from war. Wonder if soldiers today have this on their playlist when in the Middle East?
Music has never been like this since the 60/70's CLASSIC ROCK N ROLL
There has to be a law against a bass player that perfect to play bass so good you're filling in for two players who should be there.
I'm only 18 I didn't grow up in this generation but it's a damn shame rock and roll died out this was the good shit I used to her my mother play this stuff when I was younger this was here favorite song RIP mom.
You have to love Jack Bruce! in his 60's, he's still rocking and is an awesome bass player... love the solo at the end with Eric :) Rock on boyz!!
clapton's voice just keeps on getting better
3人でこの迫力!特にジンジャーベイカーのドラムが凄いですねー!
It's the best White Room I've ever heard. Bruce is THE bass guitarist, and I love his voice too. And Clapton... He is just Clapton.
Unfrikinbelievable!!! Ginger can still pound those drums and show why he was the greatest R&R drummer ever! Absolutely beautiful.
my god, they get better as they get old ! cream, godband
Just the 3 of them up there making all that music and i like Jacks old-man singing voice better now. This is really good. I didn't care for this song before but now I'm going to download it.
Love all these "experts". All things considered, I think this rendition rocked. Thanks for posting.
jesus they still sound amazing after how many years?!i wish i saw them in their prime...that would have been amazing...why the hell was i born in the 90's?!id rather be 70 now and have appreciated this music in its day rather than looking it up on youtube...that drummer is class!so scary lookin!thats gonna be me in 40 years time...:D
one of the greatest rock bands in the history.
Truly one of the great rock songs of our time by one of the great musical collaboarations.
Best power trio of all times!!!!
The song can´t be performed without Jacks song! R.I.P.

he's closing in on 70 yrs old whatta want him to look like? amazing the 3 of them can still sound this good after all these yrs..
Jesus that's a beast of a solo, so fluent, speaks a billion words.
Everything about Cream is awesome.every member! As a huge Clapton fan guitarwise, I can't get enough of Jack Bruce's amazing vocals and bass playing especially in the cream days.Imagine Cream and Zeppelin playing a gig together.aahh!
one of the most talented bands ever
I just adore the sound of Eric's guitar and Jack's bass TOGETHER ! Ginger needs to bloody well cheer up . I think CREAM are still MAGIC .
They sound great. Jack Bruce still has one of the most amazing voices. Ginger Baker gets an incredible sound out of his drums. Claptons solo is just excellent....!!!
this is a a masterpiece.. pure and simple!
I have been listening to this song most of my life. I had to learn it today. It is so fun to play! 5 and a half minutes of ectascy!
It´s Amazing seeing this guys!!!!
AMAZING. THANK YOU.
they hit it completely out of the park. they have aged quite, quite well. :)
so much respect for this band i cant even
they really give it up. just great thanks. Lee.
Thank you very much magnificent ❤️
as an amatuer guitarist myself i can safely say hes inspirational. i note clapton as one of my main influences, so much that i even bought a black strat copy as my first guitar in may 2006
Yes. First concert dvd I ever got. One of the best too.
and you don't see it that often these days... it was rare the first time around -- it's easy to forget how good it was... Cream Rises!
Now my honour goes to Ginger Baker, whos Died on the 6.Oktober 2019 aged 80! RIP!
one of the very best cd sets i have bought in years..sounds as if they never broke up in the 60's
Endless...Timeless...Forever!
THANK YOU for this Video.......R.I.P. Ginger ......!!
I remember growing up as a guitar player, not really focusing on bass guitar, hearing good bass players talk about their influences. Two that were so often mentioned and yet not known by me were Jack Bruce and Felix Pappalardi. As I started learning the bass in the 90's, I realized why they were influences considering the times they were in. Much more experienced bass players would talk and still do about how those guys did things that just really had not been done before.
what an awesome performance!
Great post. No one ever remembers that he loved Gibsons. Thanks for your post!!!
how could you beat such a great band
Yeah, perhaps the best Clapton´s solo I ever heard. Listen to the bass lines during Claptons solo. Bruce rules!!!
Amazing!I love this song
Perfection.
whatever man, melted my face,i didn't even know this was an encore till you said it, sounds good enough to be an encore though this band
This song is such a classic!
Sadly only EC left here with us but this music is monumental and will live on long after we are all gone. Damn im getting old..Ive seen Eric over a dozen times...all great shows even during his rough period.
man i love that solo. I mainly love it when he pedals that open D and rolls his tone down to zero while hitting that high d note. right before he slides back into the rhythm
I read your description and as a lifelong Clapton fan, he hated singing. He hated being the front man.. it wasn’t until after Blind Faith and cream he really felt comfortable with his voice. He’s amazing.. the most amazing musician to ever grace this earth and I don’t care who disagrees
You're right...that solo kills...thanks for posting..
What I wouldn't have given to be there. They sound GREAT. These were some of the first tunes I ever learned on guitar when they first came out.
they're flippin brilliant - seriously top of the game
