    Great review. I just bought a pair today. I agree with everything you said. I got them primarily for hanging out on the back deck. My only negative is that the laces are something that I am going to have to get used to.

    Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts! Hanging out on the deck sounds perfect for a pair of Hey Dudes. And I understand about the laces but you can use them to adjust the tightness of the shoe.

    Which models were you comparing ?

  • @fitnessnbeer9835
    @fitnessnbeer983510 сағат бұрын

    Mostly I was comparing the brands in general because I believe there is some design consistency within each brand. But yes, the model would make a big difference in the experience. In the video I had the Cloud Runner and Cloudmonster from ON and the Arahi and Bondi from Hoka. Huge thanks for checking out the video and asking!

    Hocus are better. They're a little more money but they're a better shoe. The only thing I don't like about him is their laces. They're very weak and lazy They don't have much body to them.

    On is one of the worse company's out there. I bought a set of the On-Running Water Proof 5 and the sole has gone flat. I can feel all of the rocks and bumps on the road. and when I ask them to fix my shoes under a warranty (4 months of ownership) they told me to kick rocks. The Olympic champion didn't wear "On" shows. Avoid these shows.... the company is trash! PURE TRASH..

  • @fitnessnbeer9835
    @fitnessnbeer983510 сағат бұрын

    Thanks for sharing this experience and that sucks! After four months I feel like they should have stood on warranty and sent a replacement. Now I will say all of my shoe soles get that kinda flat feeling after some time and steps. It really just depends and my On shoes have held up okay. Not any more or less durable than most. Still disappointing to hear since I like ONs comfort.

    Your a smart dude. Never get caught up in hype something better always comes along. Most things we don't need its marketing that tricks us into needing it. Most stuff is overpriced cause most overpay cause of emotions. Most want to be rich to brag than actually enjoy the purchase or experience.

    I bought a pair on sale for $35. because i was curious to what they were. i would never pay full price for these. they are junk. Bottom line, junk. They are kind of comfortable for a minute until your feet start sweating. The soul is literally a thin piece or rubber. They are vary hot, non breathable and will make your feet sweat. Like i said, they are comfortable for a min, until the thin soul packs down and there is nothing left between your feet and the ground. The only thing they have going for them is they are very lightweight. But what is that worth? Not a shoe for adults.. maybe a child.

I’ve enjoyed my Hey Dudes but admittedly I haven’t worn my down, even though I’ve put lots of miles on them. I usually wear them casually. Also I usually wear sock so sweat hasn’t been an issue. But yeah if the shoe sole goes flat they’d be trash

    Great review. I love DE razors, but I still use the Mach 3 sometimes. I decided to do my own super test, and it gave me 24, (yes 24) comfortable shaves so far. That's a two-pass shave every time. So, Gillette is right claiming the blades will give you 15 good shaves. Again, DE shaving is cool, but when it comes to cartridges, Mach 3 is the king. No tugging, no cuts, no irritation. Just a great razor. And for me, no need for more than 3 blades. But the key is to enjoy whatever type of razor you're using. It's all fun.
