  I remember every one of these, the one I use to love and looked forward to each year was the McDonald’s gift certificates to give literally to the mailman as advertised in the commercial and just about anyone else. The mid 70s and 80s were the best years of my life and in my opinion the last best decades in America. I would go back and do it all over again if I could. I don’t even recognize America anymore now in 2024 with men wearing dresses in our government thinking they are something they are not, people being shot at fast food restaurants, mall, theaters, schools..that just didn’t happen at all back then and people were more respectable to each other. We really did not lock our doors on those long summer nights. If only we could go back… *THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS GREAT TIME MACHINE*

  Commercials then, cute, charming, playful, funny, and memorable. Commercials now ideologically driven, political, pandering, social justice infested, woke, and offensive. I haven't had cable in over 30 years, and I won't. I refuse to subject myself to that garbage.

  Undeniably better times than today and yet, we can't go back. If we try to be radically conservative and bring back the old days it won't solve our problems. We won't have the economy we did, just look at that dollar. I remember .39 and even .10 cent tacos at taco restaurants. Heck, in 1987-88 Taco Mayo in Oklahoma did those 10 cent deals where you could eat until you were dizzy for nothing. Now even the cheapest developing places in the world like Thailand are charging roughly 1/3rd of what we charge for things. The global economy is just inflated, it's not even America. Bizarrely, 20 years ago Japan was unaffordable and now you can live on about 1/3rd of what you need in the US. That's bonkers when you think about it and if you eat taco bell there you'll probably have 3x the menu with some cool teriyaki tacos or something that you can't get state side.

  The absolute most annoying this is when someone says, "why dont they make commercials like this anymore?" You idiot...ofc you feel that way cause you grew up in this era. The new Gen gonna think this is garbage. Duh you feel the nostalgia ...you lived it! Dumb ahhhh

  En lo personal ver las figuras de los g,i.joe me biene recuerdos como comprar los pero era niño queré comprar los pero como no tenia dinero porque en ese tiempo valía pero mi familia no tenia el suficiente dinero para comprar uno de esos accesorios pero me quedo como recuerdos ver que otros tenia y me conformaba de lo que me traían porque les pedía a los reyes pero como niño no sabes pues sólo veía los precios y como mi mamá y mi abuelo ponía lo que queríamos pero los precios eras elevados para ellos pero solo son recuerdos y no me siento ni mal ni bien disfruten lo que me traían pero solo son recuerdos y nostalgia buen video de estos juguetes de los Joe
