Michael J. Fox appeared in several Diet Pepsi commercials during the 1980s, including this one from 1987, and his partnership with the brand was quite notable. Many of these commercials showcased his comedic talents and likable personality to promote the refreshing taste of Diet Pepsi. I believe this one was originally aired during the "Big Game" in 1987 and then subsequently aired on TV for at least a year. I vividly recall seeing this one quite a bit in the late 1980's.

Yea I remember this commercial. Michael J fox is one of my favorite actors. I grew up on his movies. BTTF, Doc Hollywood, Teen Wolf, etc etc. I saw his latest interview a few weeks back and I wanted to cry. I felt so badly for him. Parkinson’s is a horrible disease. Praying they find a cure and/or prevention medication before too much longer

Pepsi likely gave him many free cases of the stuff and he probably drank it to excess. Could be the cause of his Parkinson's.

My dad worked for Pepsi. He used to bring home cases of soft drinks and put them in my room. I used to drink them to death, but I felt fine ... my stomach did not.
