Hi Carl. Lovely to see your trains running as usual. I have the GWR Pannier loco too. Mine came with a smoke generator. I have an old Flying Scotsman with the chuff chuff sound, a brilliant idea back then. Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Carl, the X03/4 motors have stood the test of time well and truly. It will be interesting to see if the modern can and brushless motors have the same longevity. The only problem with the X04 down here is obtaining new brushes. They are dead easy to rewind though.
Hi Steven, I don,t think a lot of the new loco,s will last that long let alone the motors. Everythings to complicated today. The loco,s have so much detail, you can,t see it when they,r going round your layout. But they do look nice and theres a few I would like to have. You can get the brushes quite easy here on Ebay. @@ModelRailwaysUnlimited Thankyou Mike, glad you liked it. I,m not a fan of cd motors myself. The bus is the night bus from Harry Potter. It's a corgi model. It was a Christmas Present from my mother in 2019. Sadly she passed away last year. I really like your video on the 0-4-0s. Got a few myself. All the best. Carl.

Hi Carl, nice performers there mate. That blue and yellow loco reminds me of the Metronom livery in Germany. Definitely similar in looks, i have a Piko version somewhere. I will try and find it and give it a run. Steven.

Nice to see the oldies running Carl,do you buy many new items.I prefer the older models myself,I do have some new trains,but I find the older items like Lima easier to work on.
Hi Michael, thankyou for watching. I tend to buy older models because that's what my channel is mainly about. However I have bought a few brand new models but not for a while. The last one was Hogwarts Castle, I bought it about four years ago. I would like to buy the new Dapol Manor & Hornby Turbomotive. I like your videos Carl for a couple of reasons,one they are mostly short and sweet but factual.Two it’s nice to a lot of old models still running.A lot of people have little breaks,when the weather is nice I have so much to do in my garden I haven’t got time to play with my trains,so thanks for showing me your layout 😊👍

Another nice running session Carl. Hornby must have made millions of the blue class 37's, there is always lots for sale on ebay. I think it was in every Hornby catalogue i can remember from my childhood years. I love it. I have two of them, one of the early ones and a later one named " William Cookworthy ".

Hi Carl another nice running session.I have more Lima locos than any other manufacturer.You are right they are getting expensive on eBay,but only if you pay it! Some of the start of prices are ridiculously high.

Hi Carl, the prices on Ebay are insane mate. I've been getting a few off Marketplace recently. It's a lot easier negotiating a price than bidding and hoping. The SNCF diesels were good performers on the non-electricified lines back in the 60s, they replaced the steam locos. They were mixed traffic but ended up just hauling freight. Yours is a nice runner, you just need the steam van. They are getting hard to find and cost a mint.
Hi Steven, Ebay prices have gone crazy. Blaenavon model railway shop is only about 5 miles from us and the money go,s to the railway. I,v bought a few loco,s from there. I,v been looking for a steam van on Ebay today, no luck Thankyou butty, all the best. Carl.

Lima steam locos tend to be overlooked but they can be really good runners if looked after. I have the French loco. It's an American -built 141R and mine is in green SNCF livery with etched brass number plates. Great video!

Bachmann and split gears, sounds about par for the course mate. ive got a Jouef version which needs a new motor. Great runner while it was going, but I left it stalled on a set of points and fragged it. My bad. I'm hunting the XPT Aussie version of the XPT. Bit of a rare bird these days. Steven.

HHi Carl, I get most of my loco's, when they have them, from the Cardiff Antique Centre in the Royal Arcade. That was great seeing them all running smoothly for you. Very good.

I have bought a lot of loco,s and rolling stock from Blaenavon model railway shop. It's part of Pontypool & Blaenavon railway. It's only about 6 miles from me, and my son lives in Blaenavon.
