Looks to be 3 chambers and middle holes in my guess is decoration. . I say 3 because I'm following the mouthpiece to the whistle body and the hole where the sound comes out is from the things looking like stylised heart's. Hope this helps. Only a opinion😅

trapped air isn't an issue in pottery, "explosions" happen from work not being fully dry. hope that helps!

Just assuming this is a semi functional or non-functional teapot? It's such a cool idea to have double walls, (I originally thought for insulation) but then to punch holes in it was perplexing but super nifty at the same time design-wise. The spout though! Super cool idea, but how on earth will you clean the dead area between the walls below the holes inside the spout? Tea will puddle down there and get gross with no way of properly cleaning it? Overall genius though! Thanks for sharing, you are brilliant!
@bellhillpottery Жыл бұрын
You are not the first person to say that but I have a question for you.. Why would tea puddle there? Just rinse the pot out. Have it dry upside down. If there is water left in there for some reason it’s just water. No gross tea water. I’ve made thousands of teapots at this point. Mostly single walled but have the same spout and I have never heard anyone complain until this video.. which is perplexing and surprising to me. I do appreciate the concern but I am also confused by it.
