This is a resonator canister delete. The main muffler - as shown in your photo - is still embedded in the center front right of the exhaust system. If you would have simply deleted the main muffler and left only resonators in the back, it would sound a little more crisp and racy at higher revs, but more toned and smooth at normal drive range. Plus, it would have been about half the cost to cut out the main muffler and bridge the gap with standard exhaust pipe while leaving the stock exhaust outlets attached to the rear canister resonators.

They removed v11.30 only update available is v11.20 now which does not have this option.

I got a 2001 X5 for my graduation gift a little over a year ago!! Beautiful car. Silver with the sport package! Xenon headlights and rear sunshades are my favorite features of the car! True luxury! BMW started way ahead of the game on making very luxurious cars that stay up to date for a really long time!!!

Typically the left turn signal and a tail light on mine. Sometimes AC but it's still expensive. Tail light once, turn signals twice. Overall, still alive and each service costs $2000~ CAD

I saw you on XOutpost and wanted to ask you a little about this. I'm having the mufflers taken out and replaced with Y-pipes similar to yours. Can you tell me what the Y-pipe specs are? Also, would make the car unable to pass NJ inspection. (All they check is emissions)
