    nothing beats EMD this is great with the long sound effects in the distance nice n slow with a heavy load from above and no silly disruptions of horns blowing. thanks for sharing

    EMD's sound amazing. Some locos are dead though. That train would have to be incredibly heavy.

    All the EMDs were just howling at full notch 8. Even the GEs were at notch 8. Probably the most intense noise I’ve heard on a coal train

    Appropriately, all engines were tunnel motors. Awsome video clip, as that tunnel is historic and there's no way to see any train go through there now, sadly. There's some hiking videos of people walking through it and snow sheds, that are supposedly haunted. Think the tracks were ripped up and out, after 1996 when union pacific took over SP and Rio Grande.
