I’ve seen many other videos but Scott does the best work and the sound quality is incredible. I always enjoy the sound of the MRL mid train helpers.

I have not seen any of your vids for years! I missed them! But it would have been nice to catch multiple trains going past, like in some of your past videos. Good to see you again! 😃

Thanks Tinnybird. A few years ago MRL lengthened the siding you see here, which meant fewer trains having to stop right here to let another pass. in actual fact this train got stopped in the siding for an eastbound empty coal, which I will post next. However the siding is so long the tail of this train disappeared even though he had to stop at the next light.

Always love watching your videos from this location. Great audio also. It really adds to video as these trains battle the grade. Excellent video Scott. Happy New Year.

What’s the grade in this part of the pass?
@ScottHiddelston
3 жыл бұрын
This grade is around 18 miles of 2.2 % compensated, which means the grade is slightly less at the curves to compensate for the extra drag.
