I’m dead about the riddle 😂😂😂 how did she not figure it out bruh. And when you talked on first, skin tone and which is it Sarah?? I was like yes! Yes! With everything you said about how his skin would work!? I’m subscribing because you are hilarious and I agree with your points 100% thank you for this!! 😂 the books are addicting, but I’m glad we can have open discussions with the literature critiquing!

Honestly it's also fucked up how Feyre never at any point asks Rhys if it's okay to touch his wings when he explicitly stated it made him and I quote "uncomfortably vulnerable" and had never l e t anyone touch them during sex. He even STARTS PROTESTING and then just... stops? How about some consent maybe? Asking if it's okay? That's probably too nuanced for Feyre lmao, this book series had a chance to do so many actual good things and failed in every way.

Ok, about 33 minutes in, i see why this autoplayed for me 😂 my autistic ass (real, not insulting) has been hyperfixated on this beef, *and* this is a crazy long deep dive?! Add in the humor and demeanor, this is the closest thing to a bespoke video I've EVER SEEN. I'll be adding thoughts through the next 17 listens, I'm sure 😂 I'll try to keep it to my own replies at least

Can we also talk about the lines in this book??? Like how Tamlin asks how Feyre is able to hunt because she can’t READ?????? Or “his words caressed my bones”. What IS that??? Or that Feyre taught herself to swim by watching. Or that she tries to teach herself to read with no knowledge of the phonetics or letters or anything. Sure. And why are there so many loopholes for this girl? Why is there like a “die or else sleepover” clause in the magic? Why is there a death or RIDDLE option? Why so much deus ex machina?? I laughed out loud at this book so many times! And the riddle. The riddle makes me so mad 😂 I was like.. Sarah. Girl. I feel like Twilight was Shakespeare compared to this.

2:13:40 Not only on Not Like Us is he being belligerent and disrespectful, he's also giving us complicated and deep similes and metaphors and double entendre and you can shake your a$$ to it. Way too few people are recognizing that despite it being a club banger, Kendrick was BARRING OUT on that song. People say he simplified it, but he didn't simplify that much. The lyrics were more accessible, but they were still clever And it IS a song that could be on The Boondocks!

1:22:37 I also saw things no Reddit before I heard it in a Drake song. I was desperate for beef discussion, so I went on the Drake reddit and I saw someone post the rumor that Whitney had a kid with Dave Free. Having Akademiks come out post beef and say that was a lie makes me think that that was someone from OVO's team trying to astroturf a rumor.

1:14:39 It's just a beautifully written rap song and also horribly disrespectful I'm glad we're discussing that. Drake made 5,317,986 short jokes about Kendrick, but Kendrick's line "But let me tell you some game, 'cause I can see you, my lil' homie" is the most belittling line in the entire battle.

Im just confused on the whole murder aspect. Like she killed multiple people in pretty awful ways. And she also had that poor girl killed by association. It just doesnt feel to me she cared too much in all honesty because her though process is "I wont let is be in vain by living with the man of my dreams." Like okay??? Are you serious? Then she mentions her decomposing body pne last time before saying she feels bad for killing innocent Faye? Ma'am the girls whole family was burned alive. Get it together Feyre

Great video! Its awesome to hear your perspective, im so tired of passively misogynistic men making videos on this beef just brushing off the misogyny and homophobia or just being weird asf in general. Your critiques felt fresh and interesting in comparison. Albiet yeah theres probably stuff you missed, i cant remember anything specific right now but i have vague memory of there being a couple contextual things about the beef missing, for the most part i felt you did a great job explaining and researching.

I’ve only recently watched Gilmore girls (I was a Buffy fan), so I don’t have a huge attachment to the show. I thought it was good. Honestly, I didn’t care for Rory. She seemed fine in the first couple seasons and became progressively more rude and entitled. Everyone makes stupid or regrettable decisions, but I don’t have a whole lot of patience for people who are rude and entitled. It’s really not that serious where we need all of these articles and think pieces written about her though

2:33:00 I think you missed some context for this whole Spotify policy and TDE threatening to remove their catalogue if it is put in place. It was not about separating the art from the artist. TDE and Lamar went on record and pointed out that while the policy itself claims to be about removing "problematic" artists from playlists (quotation marks because definitions in new rules were intentionally ambiguous and vague), in practice they were targeting specifically R. Kelly and XXXTentasion, so only black artists. Their white counterparts would not be subjects to the same policy. They published a whole list of white artists who fall under same guidelines as R. Kelly and XXX, but would not face the same treatment. This list and a whole bunch of potential legal consequences quickly snuffed out the whole discourse (but allegedly shadow banning these same artists from official playlists was probably introduced behind the scenes).

Honestly no notes this is perfect. The second you listed binglys and Jane's placements i pictured it all so beautifully. Elizabeth is undoubtedly cancer sun, Taurus moon and aries rising and that poor tortured virgo venus. Darcy's first proposal is the most virgo moon Capricorn rising thing ever and his letter and paying the money and " you must know it was all for you" is sooo cap venus. This is all so though out <333

  • @ani_ibis

This video is perfectly and singularly made for me and i thank you for it. I'm really not sure about jane having a Taurus moon but I can't even explain why, it just doesn't feel right, its too harmonious and comfortable of a placements for someone like her. Earth moon does makes sense and i feel like she MUST have some Saturnian energy in there with that childhood so maybe cap moon? Ten year old me was so real for falling in love with a Gemini aquarius Scorpio concoction of a disastrous man. Your explanation of st. John's placements make sooo much sense, thank you. That take on Scorpios depriving themselves was so eye-opening. Adele placements were perfectly placed, that leo moon was SHINING. And yesss jane is scaryyyy 😖 and yes her as a fire sign makes so much sense. 1000% pisces venus, come on its obvious. And i think she has a capricorn mercury.( You didn't talk about those placements but i think this fits her) Also if i hear one more person take Jane's agency away from her and call her a submissive victorian woman ill go crazy 🙄

Not being stereotypically masculine doesn’t mean you’re gay. And something I noticed about Drake watching his interviews is he kinda changes his personality, voice, accent, and general behavior based in who is interviewing him. I remember watching his interview with Angie Martinez about the control verse and the language he used made me think he was speaking the way women tend to. He sounded very vulnerable and betrayed And then he talked about the same topic with elliot wilson and he sounded like a dude from nyc - arrogant and nonchalant 😂 Anyway that was what I think Kendrick was getting at. He absorbs the people around him - even the woman he hates
