    I've done so much research to be able to do my own simulator and came across your video yesterday and it is by far the best I've seen. Definitely going with this version of a simulator for my space. Thank you for all the details and explanation!

    Built this exactly…thank you! One question…how did you connect the monitor and the projector? There is one hdmi on the gpu and one on the motherboard that doesn’t work because the cpu has no onboard graphics. Just run both monitor and projector on gpa with hdmi and DP cable? Thank you again!

    Do you adhere the turf to the gym mat? If no, does it slide at all when walked on or when hitting balls?

  • @PixelGolf
    @PixelGolf2 күн бұрын

    It is not adhered, it just free floats. It does not move.

    I have a very similar sized setup, but only 9 foot ceiling height. What height is your projector mounted? Is it just 88 inches above the ground as shown on the benq planning tool example? And about 18 inches behind the ball position?

    Thanks for the review. I just bought this set for my 11yr old boy who is 5'1". Same thing you said, I picked this over the Calloway set because of the traditional slim SW. I had no idea the putter was milled face, that's a plus. Thanks again!

    Great video. I know very little about PC's so I was planning on following your 2 videos to a "T". Just curious, would you change anything and also, would I have any issues substituting to i9 and 4080 Super? Thanks!

    Always enjoy your content and attention to detail. I'm thinking about adding Simturf with their insert, but your hitting strip looks really good. Thanks. Matt

    I found the the T 150 didn’t spin enough for me but they’re great . Having played blades for 25 years the T100 suits me a bit better. Titleist nailed both models . Good content bro , I hope your back feels better soon .

    Amazing DIY guide. That hitting strip DIY is amazing. That was killing my budget to have get a good mat for hundreds of dollars to keep from injuring wrists. This is just a great cheap alternative. In my plan I already had the exact same 1" gym mats and a synthetic turf floor, so being able to slightly modify a section of that turf for a hitting strip is genius.

    Hey thanks for the info and the update. Quick question from your original build video you were using a putting turf you got from your local turf supplier, did you switch the turf for the entire flooring? If so what were the reasons you switched? From the links it shows you went with the SIG Money Putt Turf.

  • @PixelGolf
    @PixelGolf8 күн бұрын

    Yes, I switched from the Supreme Putt I sourced locally, to the Money Putt Turf for the whole surface. The main reason I switched is because after 3 years the turf was showing wear where my feet were and the hitting insert would show green residue on my irons, not terrible though and easily wipes off... With this new turf, no residue and it looks great after 3 months on the turf and insert!

    I know this may be a stupid question but why have an insert when you can just use a hitting mat ? 😊

  • @PixelGolf
    @PixelGolf8 күн бұрын

    I personally like the insert option as it looks cleaner and doesn't take up as much space, which leaves room in the area for putting in my case... It's also easier and more affordable to replace.

  • @PixelGolf
    @PixelGolf9 күн бұрын

    Yes, if you are using 1” thick gym mat it’s perfect. The extra 1/4” is made up by the thickness of the lexan and adhesives used as well as the Velcro.
