Since the good quality one is larger, do you rinse it off and use again after you finish cleaning with the quarters or do you just put it in the dirty basket to be washed?
@MakersClean4 күн бұрын
That's totally up to you - and also depends what you're cleaning. If the surfaces are not too grimy, rinsing and reusing is a great idea. If you've been cleaning a heavily soiled area, grabbing a new cloth is the way to go.

This looks great, but I'm curious how you mop a large area without getting it wet multiple times. Do you just spray a cleaner on the floor rather than dipping it in water? I understand the initial soaking of the pad, but after that I'm a little confused.
@chasitymatthews3794Ай бұрын
Nevermind..I commented before I fully read about it on the website🤦♀️ The answer is yes, use a spray bottle
@MakersCleanАй бұрын
Yes, our preferred method is a spray bottle filled with your favorite DIY floor cleaner. Spraying directly onto the floor rather than soaking your mop pads will help to prolong the life of your mop, and also ensure you're not soaking your floor.

I try to clean my frig out once a month. I also try to throw out old food on a weekly basis just because it makes easier to maintain the frig clutter. We have 98 yr old wooden floors so I wash them every 1-2 months usually when I do a deep clean of the entire home, but I do spot cleaning daily or as needed. If I spill something I try to clean it up immediately which helps with maintenance.

Question. I clean my toilet - inside and out - each week. I close the lid before flushing. Nevertheless, sometimes in between cleanings, I get a mysterious fine black soot all over the tank and on the base of the toilet. It cleans off easily, but I just don't know what it is or what's causing it. The soot has only happened in the past few months even though we've had the toilet for 5 years.

Seat and lid down for every day use. Seat and lid up if I have male guests, seat down and lid up for mixed bathroom use. An antique chamber pot holds convenience items: flushable wipes, dude bombs, eau de toilet. The medicine cabinet is minimally used, also convenience items for guests' indigestion, headache, breath freshening. My personal items are not in the bathroom when guests are visiting (toothbrush, toothpaste, tongue scraper, or hair care items). I am concerned that guests might flush with the lid open; I want to be gracious while avoiding the plume.

For me the lid is down all the time except when using of course!! My question is what is the best way to clean the brush??? I'm constantly having to purchase new ones due to buildup of crud (?) where the bristles come out of the handle.
@MakersCleanАй бұрын
Great question! After cleaning the bowl, give the brush a good swish in the water, and then 'rinse it' in the fresh water while flushing the toilet. When the cleaning is done, let it drip dry by placing the brush under the toilet seat, and letting it air out horizontally. Only replace into the holder once it's dry!
