Moving Forward Adventures
Moving Forward Adventures
Hi. We’re Kenny and Sabrina!!
Two years ago we set on a journey to simplify our lives. We decided to remove the things in our life that distract us from what truly matters. In doing so we have been able to focus on the people and adventures that bring us happiness. While this journey is a work in progress, we want to share our story in hopes it will inspire others. We decluttered, sold and donated awayenough of our possessions to move into our Winnebago Class A RV. We hope you will join us in this adventure as we travel and live in our RV. We will be sharing our travels as we visit campgrounds and boondocking locations. We hope to explore new areas and meet new people. Please join us on our journey and together we can all be Moving Forward.

We have one side of our trailer with the tandem wheels off the ground with the auto level system. I tried to put something under the wheels but either too loose or too tight to get under them? I could jack up that one jack manual then redo the auto level and see how it works?
We're lucky in Australia, the standard rear axle is the Dana 44
1. You don’t need a certified diesel mechanic to do repairs on your diesel, any handy redneck can do it. 2. Safe yourself money avoid STEALERSHIPS
What do they do with the propane lines?
That's a great question, I know they said they capped off propane, but I would think that maybe there was a pass through line that they would have added as well
This looks great! 🙌
🙌It's a great addition to our RV!

😂😂😂😂
😃
I always thought it was strange how my current dog's poo is small compared to past dogs. I am definitely a small dog owner now.
Lol, well in this video the poo in the bag is actually rocks I found on the ground. Belle didn't have to go on this walk so I had to improvise 🤣
@@MovingForwardAdventures 🤣🤣😂
That's A Good Thing! I'm A Dog Walker And Yes, Walking Around Holding Poo Is Not My Favorite 😂😂😂 Give Belle A Hug For Me@
I don't think it's anyone's favorite 😅 These little bags have been great for us.
Love the idea of the bag, beats my pocket.😂 thank goodness my dogs are yorkies with little 💩..😊
Oh no, not the pockets 🤣😅
Happy birthday Kenny! 50… You’re still a baby!
Lol I'll take it! Thanks Eileen!
TRUMP 2024
Had a JK for years. Just bought a lifted 1997 TJ last week with brand new Mikey Thompson 33's. I paid $12,000. 103,000 miles. Perfect frame and body with no rust and I can tell it was a pavement princess her whole life. I think anywhere from $9000-$14000 is a good range for a nice condition TJ. Hell, basic UTVs in my area are listed over $10k new and I cant daily those. Not sure where else you can get 4x4, convertible, and something easy to work on yourself for this price.
Excellent information, Thank you very much.
Glad to hear you liked the video! Safe travels! Kenny
First off Kenny, happy birthday! Welcome to the 50 club! Oh wait a minute I'm 60. Lol, anyways what the heck are you talking about? About? Lol. I'm glad we have this all settled now! I'm kind of with Sabrina on this one. LOL again happy birthday!
Lol, I always forget you are older than me, maybe you are just as childish as I am 🤣 and that's why
@@MovingForwardAdventures you got it Bro!! Happy bday!
Happy Birthday 🎉
Thank you new new!
Just a Kid lol.... Happy B Day !
Lol thanks Doug!
Ok here's One, if it doesn't work, jiggle the handle or turn it off and turn it back on😅😅😅 . You don't look a day. over 25. Give Belle A Hug For Me!
Lol Sabrina's face when I told her this. I think I'll be using this one for sure and thank you Mickey I certainly feel older than 25 🤣
@@MovingForwardAdventures I'm Glad You All Liked It! Happy Birthday!!
Very wise.
Lol thank you!
Good on your reasons as to owning a gas rig $ miles etc .Yes Diesel pushers more power torque better chassis.Interiors can be as nice and better prices for leftovers or low mile fairly newer models, great job
I have a 06 Tj and love it! Soft top but a/c. Zero rust 60k 13k price would pay it again and will take it to my grave. We live in the Blue mountains. It is my way to work in the winter.
Stay with the older jeeps 1999 and earlier with a straight 6, built far better than the new rust bucket junk. If not, get a 4runner, a far better vehicle all around that holds value
Thank you for this great video! I'm getting a Travato 59KL next week an wanted ideas as to how others organize it. BTW, you all adorable!
Thanks for the kind words Shelagh! The KL is a great floor plan amd you may be surprised of just how much you can pack into it! Hope to see you on the road or at a rally, till then safe travels! Kenny
good video, thanks for the info. i will look at my Class A i just purchased to see if i have that option, without buying aftermarket parts.
did you lubricate your bushings while you had things apart?
Reconditioner isn’t going to change the colors like that.. don’t be misled
Nice looking jeep! My TJ came with 32" and 2 inch lift and replaced them with 30" KO2's, very happy!
Thank you! I originally wanted a green TJ, but had a hard time finding a good one. The blue has really grown on me. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one to downsize tires and I've been very happy with the KO2's Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
Are you happy with the V10 motor
It's been great! We now have 142,000 miles on our Vista and when it comes time for a new RV we'll be buying on the Ford chassis again
Install some sound deadening material under the rug. Including on the wheel wells. That helps a lot.
I will look into this! Thank you for the information!
Was your wife the one standing in the right lane when the RV is driving on left?
I'll have to watch the video and get back to you, I can't think of a time that Sabrina was outside of the RV while I was driving
I got a 2005 jeep wrangler X. 4.0 inline 6. 6 speed Standard with A/C. Hardtop. I got it back in 2016 with 70,000 miles on it when I drove it home. Now in 2024 I have almost about hit 100K. It’s my daily I love it. I been taking care of it as much as I can. I call her the Silverback.
Whatever you do, don't sell it! I have spoken to so many people who have sold theirs and regret it. I think yours definitely sounds like a keeper, be safe and have fun!
@@MovingForwardAdventures trust me I’m a keep it as long as I can 😀
Love the blue, great vid, thanks! Just picked up a low mile 2003 Sport!
Awesome! You are going to love it!
what breakaway braking system do you use when you flat tow??
We use the RVi3 brake system, we've used it for over seven years in other vehicles and it works great
Was it me or was there audio in the left channel only?
Well that's not great, that shouldn't be the case, but I honestly didn't check the audio other than the level. Maybe my mic only picks up one channel.
@@MovingForwardAdventures no worries, figured you might not have realized and that you would like to know.
@donaldroehrig7817 I appreciate it! Thank you
I have a 32 inch now.
I think some day that is what I will bump up to. Do you like the 32's?
@@MovingForwardAdventures they work great on a JK. The weight definitely feels heavy. Probably needs to be regeared.
Last trail I was on was at that one Pennsylvania state park with the highest peak in the state.
I'm from Pennsylvania, so I should know what it is called, but I don't. I do know which one you are talking about though
Sabrina please talk to him about either A. Upgrading the TJ or B. Look at a used jeep from Enterprise Car sales.
Sabrina is rarely in the Jeep, she's honestly not a fan of it. She would like a four door & automatic. That said, she likes the look of the TJ, but it's just not for her.
@@MovingForwardAdventures Sabrina is right. 🤣🤣
Always!
Devil's bathtub. 😂😂😂
Lol devils bathtub for me 🤣
How's the noise and rotation intervals?
Noise is much much better, I wasn't expecting such a big difference
Although I will add that these tires are also 1/2 thinner than my larger tires too
I'm moving to a A/T from my M/T. my reasoning is sound vibration and the weight. I average between 13-15 mpg. On the original Goodyear street tires I was seeing 21-24 MPG on my 2012 JK.
Anything in the 20's for mpg is great for a wrangler! I thought I was doing well with NY 17mpg's
@@MovingForwardAdventures my wallet misses 20 mpg. 🤣🤣🤣
How's you tire contact patch aired down on the new tires?
Better than my old set of tires, but only because I was able to get these in a lower load rating. Ideally this size tire would be better on a 16" rim, mine our 17, but I didn't want to change rims in case I go up to a 32" tire. If I do I think the 32" tire on a 17" rim will be great.
Have you or anyone else tested the air quality inside after the AC has been running for a while?
We personally have not, but we are currently at the Winnebago Rally and can ask around to see if anyone else has.
Yes please going to buy one 2025! Especially with the full body paint please keep this!
I will let them know, I'm currently at the Winnebago Rally and plan on sharing these comments with the marketing team this week
Hi all, Here is that link to the article I wrote for Winnebago about Offroading in Moab www.winnebago.com/lifestyle/winnebagolife/travel/off-roadin-in-moab-an-exciting-option-for-rvers-with-jeeps-from-fantasy-rv-tours Thanks for watching and safe travels all!
I am super blessed to have a 98 Sahara TJ, 4.0,5 spd.came with a 4 inch cheap lift, husband decided to put a quality 6 inch long arm lift and change the drive shaft angle and much more, put 37/14.50/15 Toyo Open Country tires on it and I'm only 5ft 3 tall. I absolutely love my white Sahara but need suggestions on some simple hoop steps to put on so I don't need a stool to get in everyday 😵💫
That sounds like a great setup! Would a long hanging pull strap from the roll bar be enough for you to grab and pull yourself up with, then you clip it or velcro it to the bar once in. I have also seen power steps on the newer Jeeps that drop down to enter and then lift back up for driving and offroading.
My experience with a 37' gas coach. 2 breakdowns and no mechanics except diesel mechanics and shops where those 2 events took place. 1 issue took over a month to fix because the only shop in the area was a diesel shop that had trouble diagnosing & fixing our gas coach transmission, (40k miles), 2nd issue, only diesel shops in the area, but I was able to change the starter on the spot, (43k miles) and no mechanic needed. Getting the starter was another issue, but it all worked out. I love the gas coach, and I have only driven it cross country 3 times without towing. If I was full time, I'd get a diesel. What we use it for, sparce mechanics or not, the gas coach isn't that bad.
Wow, that's surprising, definitely the opposite of our experience, but glad to hear your still enjoying the gas coach. We just hit 142,000 miles and no breakdowns. We should be at 150,000 miles by October.
@MovingForwardAdventures I should've added, it was a 10 year old coach with 37000 miles when we bought it. It spent some time sitting over the years. When we bought the coach, it had all its maintenance records. Sitting around for 10 years, I'm sure came into play even being maimtained. These rigs wanna drive! We were totally caught off guard the mechanic availability, not what we expected, but I'd do it again, and she purrs & does some screaming now.

TJs = TRUE JEEPS! Love my 06 tj! Great video!!!
I do like to think that TJ does stand for that 😆 Hope to make more Jeep videos
Lots of questionable points especially about fuel. In the end it doesn’t matter what you arrive in when you’re sitting around the campfire.
I agree with you 100% as better to be safe be sorry
