Excellent video. Incite as to ways the tools picks accessories are designed and work with tools and across all tools is valuable to us. Demonstrating swinging technique is understanding how to use tools efficiently from the designers intention. Tools today are so specialized it apparent Petzl has system over an entire line of tools. With the purchase of only one tool you have an investment that will benefit you if you make a purchase of another tool later and exchange accessories and picks on tools to meet your needs. Owning more than one set of tools in modern times can be very beneficial.

I recently switched to the new quarks from the previous generation and almost everything about them is worse. The grip flops around in my hand because of the flatness. The pommel rest is also flatter. I actually wrapped them in both in tape and they still don’t swing as good as the old. The folding part of the pommel is a bad idea, my first day out and they froze shut, I had to breath on them to open but the button was jammed and wouldn’t lock. Kinda dangerous

Wow! I've free-soloed 3,000 vertical feet of WI5 in one day, free-soloed one pitch of WI5 with a sea kayak hanging from my harness, and free-soloed one pitch of WI5 hopping on one leg, but I have never been able to free-solo an ice pillar this slender! NICE!!!

Back in the 90's I soloed The Dez, the Spiral Staircase, the Pencil, the Eraser, Secret Probation and the Pumphouse . Soloed the Dez 10 times. I was never half the climber this guy is. What David did amazes me. Great vid.

Jeff Lowe used this technique in the late 1980s. Stas did NOT invent the technique. NOT!!!!!! If you get on super thin ice you will quickly realize ON YOUR OWN that there is no other way to get a secure pick placement!!!!!!!!!!!

You should change the name of this video to something like "LARGEST CLIMBING GYM IN CANADA" and see if it improves the algorithm visibility. I think no one is going to be searching for 'mississauga' or 'hub' . See if it helps!

Transitional gym to crag technique: 1. Try to climb with only one active foot and other foot just smearing 2. Placing foot on wall perpendicular, heel hook, and parallel to wall, back steps 3. The harder the climb the more important it is to recognize foot placement

Gripped watchers here is something just for you. If you die today will you go to heaven? Have you ever lied, stolen, hated, used God's name as a curse word (O-M-G)? According to God's law, you're guilty, your headed for hell, ignorance will not be an excuse... But wait, God loves you, he made a way out for you, God's son Jesus died paying for your sin. God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him will not die but have everlasting life. John 3:16 God is warning the world. End Time prophesies are jumping off the pages of the Bible, satan is ruling with his plagues, violence, idol worship, scoffers, and government control... The earth is experiencing birth pains like never before, earthquakes, fires, floods. People now are lovers of themselves, money, lovers of pleasure rather than God, we see sexual immorality running rampant like adultery, fornication, homosexuality, sexual abuse rape... the ultimate in child abuse mommies killing their babies in selfish child sacrifice (abortion), and religious persecution against Christians only (they will hate you because of me, Jesus (Matthew 10:22). The world leaders are prepping for a,"One-World order," a "Great Reset," (please don’t take a number on your forehead or right hand, read Revelation a number means no heaven, and there's only one alternative, eternity in darkness, suffering in a lake of fire) Soon the believers in Christ/Christians will be taken up, away with God, the world will be in turmoil, then the antichrist will come and fix everything, everyone will love him, he will deceive many with his worldwide lies... then the tribulation will start, you will be forced to worship the beast and take his number. Life on earth will be horrific. Today if you hear God whispering to your heart please respond before it's too late. Say a humble prayer, pour your heart out to God, receive Jesus as your savior, believe God raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 10:9), and repent of your sins, you are now saved by grace! Ephesians 4:8-9(NOT BY WORKS)

Very well demonstrated. But as noted below it is basically how you normally climb really thin ice where you can't swing into it either. Or delicate hanging curtains.

Hey Mark, it was in November. Our editor filmed it and uploaded it on Nov. 9. Full story here: gripped.com/gripped-outdoors/adventures-with-b-lake-louise-skating-and-backcountry-skate-tips/ The NHL shared a photo from Paul Zizka here: instagram.com/p/CHdh2x2pJqn/ There are hundreds of images on social media from Nov. 8 to Nov. 12 of people skating on it until it snowed. Cheers!

Excellent. A real development in the formalization of a valid technical improvement. The 'groove cutting' is the real innovation I think, allowing the heavily forward inclined front tooth to repeatedly chip out it's none-fractured support placement. There might even be a little pressure-melt and re-gelation of the ice that helps lock the pick tip into the slot. Full fucking marks for the research and the share... xxx ;-)
