Great vid brother
we call it masonite
Great going, How bout a Epurb? We toughed it out with the wind noise.
Looks like you have a reasonably complete proa! Yes please on any project ideas.
The lady-operator(s) is lovely indeed, but I was really drooling over the finished boat above all, as ashamed as I may be to admit it. Couldn't help but think of what it will have been - how much lighter and more "flexibly-resilient" (aka light&tough) the vessel will have turned out if, instead of wood, you had utilized all glass-laminated core/composite boards - like coosa and d'cell all over - even for the connections to the main hull. Guess that would have been cost prohibitive, but I still love the result and how actually useful it was with a mere 4hp!
MAD respect my brother. I admire your skills. God bless my brother
I have a 20 foot center council with a 150 hp Yamaha. I topped out at 49.7 mph. Couldn't trim it out anymore to hit the magic 50! 😅
They have a syphon on Amazon. Its a clear 1/2" hose and on one end, it has a copper fitting with a marble in it. You just put it in the water and shake it up an down, and it starts syphoning. Works like a charm and its like $14. I use it to empty car gas tanks for when i have to replace the fuel pump (I'm a mechanic) and I've had it for years. Its worth the money. Cheers mate.
I really been enjoying you channel these last few days. New sub. Good stuff bud!
Great idea, what fun and beautiful little boat 👏👏👏
now put a sail on it
Dude!! That thing MOVES!!! Love it.
That’s really cool!!
Glad you had fun beach combing .Seems you spent more on fuel than what you spent on your boat .Florida waters use to be more clear less developed .Its ashame people have to escape Florida to go to the Bahamas
Mechanic here. The old Johnson / Evenrude 9.9's are a beautiful little 2 stroke that you must pre-mix the oil and gas. But did you know, thats its the same as a 15hp? Ebayed a 15 hp carb for $60. Gained a 1000 rpm. Frigging thing screamed. All i did was a 15hp carb swap. They are literally the same engine with different carbs! You can look it up. Same engine, different carbs. Oh, and good vid bud! 🍻
Wow! Amazingly done! Love the channel. New subscriber here. Many blessings my brother.
Hey do you do custom work for people @diy waterworld
Amazing! Your channel is gonna explode soon
MPG is not used in the water or the air.
Cool build! What marina was that?
My man I'm loving ❤ this content. I've flipped motorcycles, cars, and a few small Aluminum boats. Haven't messed with fiberglass boats yet but have used fiberglass on some boat flooring for the aluminum boats. I'm going to start doing this! Thank you! 👍 Oh, and subbed days ago. Keep it up!
How much fuel did you need for the crossing, Bahamas/Florida?
Hi there. Right at 20 gal.
What size prop?
I like this build, I'm 19 and want to build myself a skiff. I have a 21ft ocean boat is great on the ocean and big lakes, but I want something to also go on the river, which is just not something I can do with 5 feet of outdrive and hull below the waterline
Balls you have to have a set! Makes me remonese
Where do you do all these builds? Do you rent a spot or something
What type of permit do you need For that type of business? That’s such a great hustle . Aloha from Hawaii 🤙🏽
I build boats for a living. 25 plus years. I would love to find a project like this to refit. ❤
Can we do this with a real boat? I’m currently trying this with a big ass Parker and I’m starting to think it’s a bad idea
So awesome. Looks fast and stable. Great build and cool, creative business. Best office view in the world out there on the sand bar!
Love this build. Great job.
Neat fact, the navy was doing step hulls as early as ww2 with the pt boats used extensively for testing and evals/sea trials. Its not a new concept it just took 50-60 years for the civi's to catch up.
Looks like a fun and rewarding business model for Chelsea. Extremely portable model as well. Build “CocoLoco II” take it to Miami, train the new Captain, bank the cabbage!
Awesome job
Super cool little build! I love the way you repurpose things and now I definitely gotta try some pineapple with tajin
This is hands down one of the coolest channels I have came across! Wish I would have found it sooner! Very cool project by the way too!
Tajin should pay you a commission. Based on your reaction, I just ordered Tajin. Looking forward to trying it on pineapple.
What an awesome build my man! There’s nothing like that anywhere! If Chelsea makes it down here to Miami with cocoa loco she’d make a killing! The guys at lakeshore marine are awesome! Steve is awesome and goes above and beyond for his clients! “Ta-heen” 😂🤙
Beats a Paddle board all to hell and her Captain is all Smiles, big thumbs up!
OMG! I love! Trash to treasure!
Nicely done dude
You’re a genius brother!!! That little boat build is so cool!!!!🤙🏼💪🏼🏆
Love the builds!!! Awesome work and great execution using often times sub par boats! I could only imagine what you could do with good hulls! Keep up the great work!!
Yoooo Forest!!! I’m a little late on this one but love it. Looks like it will serve Chelsea well. So creative and fun. Nice to see some of your high end work with the faux teak also!
I absolutely love it!
Right on!! Thank you! I’m stoked you like it!
How do you register it with the state with it being made recycled parts
Hey DIY. I have been bang watching your videos today. I had a question. Did you drill in the bulk head below the deck so there isn't a problem with the water being trapped in the haul like you were dealing with when you first got the boat? Love the greenie killer build. Keep up the awesome videos. Kris
So Rad!
Thank you buddy! I dig it also!
That's awesome, very entertaining as always :)
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
