My macarons browned a little, so I turned down my oven on the next back and decreased the time for the third batch. The moral of the story is that I need an oven thermometer. Besides the slightly browned macarons, this recipe works beautifully when followed. I also lost my circle mat, so my macarons were a little large, but I got 16 complete macarons from this recipe. Thank you for the detailed steps.

This recipe isn’t for me (your cream of crab soup definitely is 😁) , but I watched all of the way to end because I appreciate your passion for cooking and the research and testing you do. In case anyone is not aware, watching all of the way to the end of a video without fast forwarding increases the “average view duration” or “AVD”. KZread’s computers use AVD to determine how much they promote videos to non-subscribers, which is essentially free advertising that helps her channel grow. So, please watch Sam’s videos all of the way until the end when they stop playing on their own. Have a great weekend, everyone!!! 🦀 🌊 🦀 🌊🦀🌊🦀🌊🦀🌊🦀🌊🦀🌊🦀🌊🦀🌊

The sherry is a nice touch! I was hoping that you were going to add something like this to counteract all of that cream / milk. I’m putting this on my winter soup list to be cooked the night before and served reheated in a homemade bread bowl. Great job!!!
