  Hi,just a quick question, did you feel safe enough in marseille as we've heard that some people prefered to stay on the ship....also is the buffet food free ,part of the price of the cruise and is it explained what is free and what you have to pay for extra. We're travelling this September 2024 on ship. Thanks for the informative videos...👍

  Thanks for watching. Marseille when we visited we found to be very safe. Where we took the sightseeing bus was just a short walk from where the shuttle bus drops off. Buffet is free of charge. If you watch our ship tour we have added “extra charge” to the restaurants that you have to pay for. 👍

  I’ve been watching your vlogs for a good while now. First I love the way you two sit and talk to the camera like you’re telling us a story and then you put clips in. Second you two have a very calming way about you. When you both are chatting your voices are just nice to listen to and I just want to say thank you for that. Yesterday was a good example (had a seriously bad day) and I just find the way you two are and speak to us and each other is lovely. I look forward to many more of your vlogs.   Hi guys, You are correct about the appartements in De Markthal, there is still alot to do between the homeowners and the party that exploits the building. A s a local I would strongely advise you to go beyond De Markthal & direct area. Just past beyond the Watertaxi area there is more to see, Also I love the watertaxi's, but trams , metro and busses are also easy to use and might bring you to other parts. They can be paid for by bankcard. If you come next time try the architecture walk; it tells a bit more about a lot of the iconic buildings. That ships sounds way to busy for my liking.

  I really wish all these cruise vlogs would say what the total cost actually was, we always used to use Marella as everything was included but sadly Marella has changed beyond recognition in the last twelve months so we are looking for an alternative cruise line now. Thanks for the post fellers.

  Thanks for watching. We don’t usually post the cost of our cruises on videos as there are so many variables sometimes depending on cruise lines like, cabin types, then so many different cabin grades, adding tips, drinks packages etc etc. This is what we love about Marella - one price that includes everything but you really correct, Marella prices have been getting higher and higher. For this cruise we paid around £1000 each which was for a balcony cabin we picked, it also included around £250 on board credit.

  We did The Loen Skylift in May and we didn't get the views but the snow more than made up for it we also did the P&O organised trip so we left the ship early and there was no queuing which was great. at the bottom it was really warm so we only had hoodies on but we found it really warm walking around in the snow. i would thoroughly recommend this excursion

  Helpful video. I didn't hear you mention noise levels from you cabin. I'm assuming you didn't have a problem with it since it wasn't in you list of cons. What was the noise level like on Deck 8 since you were underneath the Spa and Pool Bar area?

  Thanks for watching. I guess it depends on where you’re flying from and the amount of flights daily. We would usually fly the day before as there is often only one flight daily for us and sometimes it’s not an early enough departure time.

  Very tough question, we may need to book another Marella one to be sure. Marella is a lot more casual and laid back. Though we did actually like not having a drinks package as sometimes on Marella we fell obliged to drink booze. 🤦‍♂️🤣

  They do limit numbers of people in the thermal suite area but it wouldn’t be just to the two of us. There are less busy times to book, for example if you go at 6pm most people are getting ready or heading out to dine so there would generally be less people visiting the spa. Accessibility would be hard to answer without knowing your individual needs, we recommend on embarkation day visiting the spa for a free tour so you can ask what assistance could be available based on what you require.

  Your title does not reflect the whole video. The title made it sound all bad??? The patio was great... Discovery restaurant was the best for us for dinner. Buffets are not our fav. except for breakfast.

  Our title is regarding our worst dining experience, which it was. This video is our daily vlog, our other videos also share the great meals we had. Dried up flavourless pizza as a food offering from this type of cruise line when more budget lines can get it right is something to chat about.
