This may work for 1/2 ton blocks but what about the granite blocks weighting 80 tons ? Plus they would need more than ropes to pull into place, plus they manufactured the blocks with copper tools ? Which is impossible. This is a complete load of bollocks.

Some of these stones are 20-30tons…can you imagine the water displacement alone? The size of the floats needed? 1000s of stones!!! Idiotic sir!!

Interesting theory though a tad impractical.... Way too much pressure. However, I do think it highly likely they used water as part of the construction technique. But I think it more likely they used a water sled on the opposite side of the pyramid as a counterweight to the stone lifting sled. They had the technology to lift water up there... all be it slowly, and knew enough about ropes to make them long enough. Once balanced a simple capstan could be used to wind the stones up. Indeed, if you extrapolate on that you reinvent the canal lift which is two identical water "sleds. You float the stones in the one at the bottom which displaces the same weight of water, then wind it over. Certainly within the technology limits of the day.

elephants were used to tow the stone from the quarry to the site, pyramids built from bottom up, always a flat surface at the top, elephant at top, rope down to pillar, sides of pyramids are well known to have been very flat allowing for little to no resistance to allow the pillars to be pulled up by elephant power and then placed. we used horse power thousands of years later and never thought of elephant power come on guys.

To me, the obvious method was the use of hoisting derricks and glory holes. You simply leave out sections of the pyramid to create shafts where can just hoist them right up to the level you're working at. You can jump the derricks up to new levels as needed always leaving stone behind so that you can patch it up later. The trick isn't placing the material, is the manufacturing and the delivery of it. The pyramids probably went up very fast (a couple of years). The biggest delays are the material and the finishing.
