Hi Sir Alan, Fine collection as always & wouldn"t expect anything less, "Rain Man" is a movie that i"ve never owned & one i"ve not seen for years, might have to change that, John Lithgow plays a villain with ease & "Raising Cain" might not be my fav De Palma movie but Lthgow"s performance is a highlight in the movie. Love all the Rambo movies, can"t believe i"ve never seen "Ray" still 😱, even though "Red Heat" wasn"t a bigger box office hit as expected Arnie & Belushi"s chemistry was very good, would of loved a sequel. "Red Rock West" one of my fav Nicholas Cage movies, i did expect to see Tony Scott"s "Revenge" on the collection, "Risky Business" fun early in his career movie starring Tom Cruise, always enjoyed that one. The original "Robocop" an essential movie in one"s collection, as well are the Rocky movies, i"m due to revisit "Romancing the stone" as well as the sequel which are fun & entertaining movies. Hi Carlos, John Lithgow is a very underrated actor, he can do comedy as well as playing the villain (look at him in Dexter 🧐) I did show Revenge it was at 9:06 (anything with Kevin Costner in, I will watch) I thoroughly enjoyed Red Heat, I’m surprised it wasn’t a bigger hit at the box office 🤔 the Rocky films and RoboCop are staples in any collection 👌 cheers mate, take care👍😃👍

I didn't know *Bittersweet Life* was getting a release; actually I didn't recognise the name for a moment but suddenly realised you were describing the plot of the Novamedia release I picked up just after Christmas... not a 4K though it looks like mine has the same extras including the three commentaries. Not seen it yet but it does sound like a good thriller. Yes I hate it when they stop releasing on Blu-ray like with *Titans* (though often if I like a series it becomes pretty cheap to get the 'complete' set even if the later seasons _had_ been released separately. Oh, and I *DO* have the first two so this will impact me! I notice the US got all 4 separately (region free) but I suspect importing will still mean our complete set makes sense. BTW even more annoying in Australia; they have 1,2 and 3 on Blu but not 4 AND not a complete set! I'm starting to pick up on a lot of anime common plots, such as waking up in or being able to enter your favourite game... and the *Cheat Skill...* release sounds quite similiar to the idea in *Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for my Retirement* where a girl can enter her game, accumulate gold, then plans to bring it back and retire early... if only! I wonder if the titles they get are done for the Western Market and the original title is an obscure reference in Japanese culture that wouldn't mean anything? I remember seeing *Single White Female* at the cinema on release and thinking it was good but I confess it's a bit mixed up with the (much later) *Hand That Rocks the Cradle* in my head for some reason. I was hoping *Abigail* would turn up last Saturday, as is common with HMV and in fact my other HMV order did, but it didn't turn up until today. I was intending on watching it on Saturday afternoon when my wife was out with friends... lukily I haven't seen trailers and will try to catch it soon. I ordered a couple of the next ones you showed that appealed; to be revealed in some future video once I'm a bit more back on track now my Giveaway has completed. Too many *Gundam* variations that I never know which I should get that aren't just amalgamations! Great video as usual... enjoy more coffees from your new mug 👍
Hi Justin, happy to bring the Bittersweet Life release to your attention 🧐 ouch, that’s annoying, they should have to give you a refund on the first two seasons when that happens 🤬 yeah I agree, a lot of plots are being reused in Anime, they seem to stick to what they know 🤔 I saw Single White Female at the cinema too, I watched it last night, it holds up well and yeah it came out the same year as The Hand That Rocks The Cradle and they seemed to have a similar theme… crazy white woman, muscling her way into someone’s life 😬 definitely stay away from Abigail trailers and reviews….. you will thank me for it. @@kermitsghost This weekend it looks like my wife is out on a sailing experience with friends to view from the water the final crossing the line of the end of the _Round the World Yacht Race_ when the little sailing boat she's on can get amongst the finishers as they come into Portsmouth so I'll get a second chance at *Abigail* this weekend. Obviously I love being with her but... well... lemons/lemonade 🍋😉 Bonus after Friday when I'm off to the cinema for only the 3rd time this year for *Deadpool & Wolverine* (yes, a new T-shirt is on standby 🤣)... hopefully together they'll cheer me up after my annual performance review at work on Thursday which I'm not expecting to go well.

The music is from a song called Noise Noise by Gary Numan released in 1982. Jamie did a great job finding that mug 👌 Gold is a fun watch, oddly enough they steal the idea from A View To A Kill on another Roger Moore film called North Sea Hijack (regarding the oil rig) cheers mate, take care👍😃👍

I remember that Blockbusters, I always preferred the smaller Video rental shops. Out of this weeks releases I picked up Message from Space from Eureka (great Star Wars inspired Japanese movie from the director of Battle Royale), Abigail, Bruiser and Die Monster Die as well as Clockwork Mice.
There were quite a few nice smaller independent rental shops around Brighton, I miss those days,nice pick ups, I popped back and grabbed Die Monster Die, it’s sold out on HMV’s website now 😬 take care mate👍😃👍

However, just found out today that the Space 1999 blu ray sets (including Super Space Theater) are getting reissued through ITV Studios, along with some other Gerry Anderson sets. Those original Network releases are getting pricy. I don't know if that interests you. Anyway, enough of this Noise Noise. Gaz.

Watch out, Alan mentioned yjat (at least that version of *SWF* was Limited, though I think those get an 'unlimited' version release a little down the line - I notice the initial batch have sold out at Amazon and their expected send time is 2-5 weeks

Back to Black is an amazing film, I watched it yesterday and was completely blown away at how good Marisa was at playing her. She didn’t have any singing experience before this film but after superb vocal training she absolutely nailed it. It’s definitely a must watch if you’re a fan or not.
I couldn’t agree with you more, she was incredible in the role and could easily play gigs as Amy. I confess, I’m not a big fan of Amy Winehouse but I loved the film and her performance. Cheers mate, take care👍😃👍

So I’m going to sit and rewatch bad boys for life for like the third time and then I’m gonna go straight into ride or die. Definitely looking forward to the physical release further down the line, I probably won’t get it straight away though. I did see Beverly Hills Cop Axel F when it got dropped on Netflix, that was fun and then I found out that Paramount is still in charge of the IP so they’re giving it a home video release at some point. So yeah right now I’m just trying to keep busy as best as humanly possible, sometimes easier said than done, but at least I’m still here like. 🖤 Thank you for the hugs and cuddles, I really needed them 🖤🖤🖤

Civil War is fantastic, saw it twice and loved it both times (last 15mins is insane). Garland is forgiven for his awful Men film.

Two pick ups for me, Once upon a time n the west as I love spaghetti westerns. Also The blue lamp to add to my vintage classics collection. Bit of a sad story to this as my brother passed away recently and he left me his entire collection of vintage classics and he had collected every single dvd and blu ray that Network released. As you can imagine I have a vast library to get through.

Still thinking about *Monkey Man* - I hear much good but also much bad; I'm sure I'll see it at some point. *True Detective: Night Country* I saw trailered on TV and it looked good so I'll pick it up when the price drops... trying to work out how the _True Detective_ titles are linked (if at all... or is it just a vague 'crime miniseries' banner) and if I should wait for/get a box set; decisions, decisions! Not sure if it'll appeal enough but _Holy Bat-voice talent_ actually getting Adam West and Burt Ward to do vocal duties on the animated *Batman* is a temptation! *Civil War* is another opinion splitter on _brilliant_ or _rubbish_ - I don't think it did itself any favours with misleading trailers but I'm more scared as to how close to reality it might be with a number of states in the US potentially trying to sucede from the Union in recent years - I'll be giving it a watch but with no steelbook I might as well wait! *Soldier Blue* is an incredibly good and powerful movie, plus there's a stunning steelbook of i, so you'd have thought it'd be a definite for me... but it's one I find _really_ hard to watch so rewatchability would be really low and I'm wrestling with myself on this one. Picked up the *Halo: S2* 4K steelbook; horribly expensive but I've noticed 4K TV series are like that! *Ice Pirates* sounds bonkers and starts off at a fair price; I can see it being £12.99 or even lower within a few months at which point I'll snag it (though Amazon have sold out at the moment!) Ive never seen the _Rowan Atkinson_ *Maigrait* and it intrigues me; often comedians can make very good straight actors when they turn their attention to it so I'll see... reasonable, if not bargain, price too - same contents but a thinner case than the sold out box from 2018 I think. *Last Starfighter* ... though I _should_ have been too old for the target audience on release (I was 18 I think), I love it and grabbed the (very reasonably priced _Arrow_ LE 4K). I have the *Le Samouraï* Blu-ray but might upgrade to that 4K, though Criterions do tend to hold price and it's quite expensive. *Once Upon a Time In the West* has been on my wishlist for a while; in fact I don't know if the release date slipped because originally I had it on my Birthday list for a couple of weeks ago! I've heard of *The Blue Lamp* but didn't know much about it... now I want it; I assume it's a re-release of the Decemver 2016 Vintage Classics disc? Hope yor daughter's wedding went well but great to see you back with another super video 👍
Hi Justin, yeah same with me, I’ve heard a few negatives on Monkey Man so I’ll probably wait till it’s a fiver in CEX 🧐 I can’t see any connection with the True Detective titles.. it like the show 3,2,1 the link it probably there but in a highly convoluted way 😆 I avoided the trailers of Civil War so went in with no expectations, I loved it, yeah at this point it could be in the documentary section 😬 I’ve not seen Soldier Blue in decades, it’s another I will pick up but not in a massive hurry 🧐 (I can see it holding its price though 🧐) Maigret is actually very good, Rowan like a lot of comedians can do serious roles very well. I already have The Last Starfighter and Once Upon A Time In The West on blu-ray so no pick up for me today 🧐 The Blue Lamp was a CEX pick up (£10) I didn’t know it was out that long 😮 have a great week Justin, take care mate👍😃👍
