Some great vids, really timely for me as I’m due to buy again and it’s between a yam world raid and the Tuareg. Your thoughts and viewpoint would be appreciated 👌🏼
@graysonchurch262 thanks for watching 👍 i think im to bias to the tuareg to give my thoughts as i think the tuareg is the better bike for off road and probably on road but if it was me id go for the world rally over the raid for looks and sound the yamaha is the winner there.just ask yourself what your after in a motorcycle the yamaha hasn't got any electrics the tuareg has everything but depends what your after. The tuareg has been a brilliant bike for me doing everything and more that i wanted out of it been reliable for me but like everything it does have its weak spots etc

@zhumango4728 what ecu remap do you mean out of interest 🤔 ive not done anything to the electrics only put a foam fillter and a silencer on it after this video tho it was completely standard on this one

@Darren_71 no worries mate just take care if goin alone or after rain ground was nice and firm for us but can get muddy in places not trying to tell you how to ride just feel obliged to say as i always feel nervous sharing routes will all different abilities etc but let me know how you get 👍 what you riding?
@@ads_rides sacked it off, it's been too wet, hopefully it dries out in the next couple of weeks 🤞 Have a little CRF300 for trails, although I'm not experienced off road, CB500X (Halfrica Twin😂) for road and a bit of gravel

Nice one. As always, in hindsight, I regret not giving it a try, looks challenging but fairly doable. I think they did a good job with the tracks in general, with the Bridgestone you could kind of ride it how you liked (going a bit faster made it feel nice and flowey) to make the most of it.
If you did all the expert bits on the Bridgestone trail the trf would of been easy the water crossing on the Bridgestone trail was worse than the two i did on the trf but we did give the bog of doom a miss tho 😂 thanks for watching mate 👍
@@ads_rides I chickened out on some of them too. Opted for the dry expert sections which were good but skipped all the wets...don't trust my tires!
Why what tyre's was you running?
@@ads_rides stock Pirelli STR...they're not terrible but once they get caked with mud they're done for. Switching out for TK80's soon.

Awesome ride again... I'm aiming to come to Wales to do the ACT track in August, maybe we can touch Base and see if you can guide me into a third day of riding... I will be on a ktm 1090r and hopefully a friend with a t7 with rally raid suspension 😊

@@ads_rides I just bought the bike, it will be delivered in 2 weeks time... 🤔😅... I wanted to go up all the way to finish the Wales act, then plot a route coming back down... Either last week in August or 1st week in September 😁
not exactly challenging in the dry. could have done that on my TMax.
They was letting people ride it on road tyres apart from the green sections that said expert on them but it was by no means expert rated trails. Its more just for a gentle ride with your mates and based around people who have never been off road i think 🤔 nice to just get out with my mate on the bike's 👍 thanks for watching
@@ads_rides I suspect they use the word expert just to put off the complete novice. Although if it had been raining hard it may have been a fair bit harder.
@DanTube2010 i thought the same thing but like you say if it rained it could of been a different trail altogether they are just covering themselves not sure it worked by the queue every time it wasn't flat all good fun though
The trail is designed to be rideable by novice riders on the biggest Adventure bikes with stock tyres. The expert signs are to put the less confident riders off. Although when it rain you do need to be an expert to take the big ADV bikes through them and remain upright. 😂

So to navigate i use osmand app which is brilliant but takes a bit of getting use to when setting it up but after that works great 👍 definitely recommend it
