I used to love watching this show when I was a kid. 👌😎 My Dad was a Traffic cop at the time and would regularly rock up in a BMW528i for his break time. He had previously drove the Triumph as well but the BMW apparently was on another level performance wise. RIP Sgt Peter Mawdsley. ❤️

To all the experts on here saying that's a 2.0 Capri and not a 3.0 you can clearly see the right hand tail pipe right at the start of the clip, four cylinder Capri's had the exhaust tailpipe on the left hand side (except the Mk1), tailpipe on the right gives it away as a 3.0. You can also clearly see the two pipes at 2:04.

My dad drove till he retired he was stuck in France during the dockers strike. He said the dockers were ok they even had lorry v docker boxing matches he was back from Italy . He once brought a 19 year old very pretty Polish girl to Britain she was nice to him. I never took the HGV passed bike test 1999 had accident 2001 lost my right leg and many other injury's. I think most dangerous time to drive is in the evening and late evening. The cars are like rockets now in the hands of inexperienced drivers.

An awful lot of the stunt driving in these film clips was done by a fella I had the priviledge to know in the early 1970's, Val Musetti. At the time Val was one of Britain's leading film and TV stuntmen, particularly specialising in car stunts. He was also the person who coached Michael Crawford through the stunts he performed in 'Some Mothers do have 'em' as Frank Spencer.
