Why don't you photocopy the page instead of ripping it out of the book? You could then donate the book.

I consented to receive emails because I wanted to print a recipe from the website. I was able to print one, and have been inundated with popups galore. The print link doesn't work, but pops up another page of the same. Great video, but avoid signing up. You will be spammed to distraction.

I wanted to know if there is an ingredient I can use for people who have dry or sensitive skin (like eczema)? olive oil? Coconut oil? Aloe Vera? What is recommended when it comes to this? I really want to try soap making, but I need to know what material and the science behind gentler materials for everyone to use! Does anyone know about this stuff? Plz let me know! Appreciate it❤️Thank you!❤️

This recipe is fine except for the avocado oil, which I've found to be drying to the skin. I have replaced avocado oil entirely in my soaps with almond oil as the best solution. I also love mango butter and use it in all my soaps, but unless you have a thing against using animal products, I would suggest replacing palm oil with lard, as it is a much more sustainable oil that produces a very fine hard bar. Coconut and lard together make for a lather that is both bubbly and creamy. Coconut, lard, and mango butter make for a very hard bar that lasts a long time, and of course olive oil and almond oil make the bar very conditioning to the skin as well.

Hi! I'm loving your channel. Can you tell me if the goat milk can be substituted for powdered coconut milk? Also, when it calls for coconut oil, is it coconut oil 76 from soap suppliers or another kind? Thanks🙂

What you have to keep in mind is that 100oz weighed has what's called a "specific gravity" depending upon the material. So to be a lot more accurate, you need to know, for example, how much would 100oz of oil weigh in cubic inches. It will be different for water, avocado oil, shea butter, etc. That way you could calculate based on the volume of your mold how much of each ingredient when combined will be required to fill the mold. Another way to look at it is that if you measure 100oz of water it probably will take up less volume than 100oz of oil.
