    I love the way you are able to articulate these basics. I wish there was Balintawak here in my area of Germany! Keep up the good work! I will find a way to practice this MA style.

    Dear pal first four strikes to the head or face then second two hits to heart and six left also to the face or head and heart.arnis actually the art of Bolo by Filipinos long time ago and nowadays they used it for several wars and it really kills because of that humble bolo...guyz you are lucky because you have learned one of the deadliest or the we can say the deadliest form of martial art since the world begun.if you're confronted by bolo like of jason Friday the 13th man you're in a serious trouble.

    Hello. Great video. Im also wanting to know where to get a stick like that or is it the same as the normal kali sticks? Also, is there a way you could do a video on how to do the long drill to flow? Is it a double person kata?

    It'd be great to see a video demo of application of balintawak in real life scenarios where the attacker (or attackers) is(are) not trained, empty hand maybe, knife, and stick, I couldn't find any. All the videos online show 2 practitioners of balintawak training in their own style. Thank you.

    What is the 6 strike is this supposed to be a thrust to the chest but is practiced in a modified position for safety

  • @synergymartialartsacademy9064
    @synergymartialartsacademy90643 жыл бұрын

    The number six strike is practiced in the cuentada (or play) as a thrust so the student can practice twisting the body and getting a proper block. If you’re talking about using a blade, you can practice it as a thrust, but with the stick, the application in my opinion and how I use it is as a flick to the head. That’s a good question, and something maybe I need to consider explaining in a future video!

    Balintawak is single stick weapon system. You are confused with double sticks. On your transition to empty hand, your demo supposed to in reversed grip. Study more please. And your transition wont be that that effective on aforehand grip to reversed grip as if in actual engagement.
