I watch a lot of pro track and ultra runner channels and enjoy them all. But none of them make me try harder out on my own runs than yours. You make me believe I can do more.

Thank you for sharing!!❤ I watched your grandslam and share with my friends and family. It seems super human and I realised how much we can endure. I just finished a race at 15min before the cut-off with pure will positive mind focus because my legs were hurting very bad. I thought i would walk to finish but i would not made it in time and with positive mind, i manage to run to finish inspite of pain. I was so proud i did not quit. Watching your videos did help my mind to understand i am capable of much more.

trail ultras will still be the most insanely physical demanding things I have ever done. Never in a marathon have i heard whispers and sounds or saw movement to then look up and realize i am running completely alone by myself in the woods. and you Have to eat/drink while you do it or you aint gonna last, like she said sometimes you can't process food or water. People who do them consistently are a special breed of human.

I was doing a trail half marathon 2 days ago and it was a tough one. 3k feet of climbing in the first few miles. On one section of an out and back i thought i saw Sally for a split second. Then i actually laughed and though obviously it isnt cuz theres no way in a thousand years id ever be ahead of this woman haha.

When she was groaning out loud (I’m assuming it’s a tactic to make sure you’re inhaling and exhaling at those altitudes since she was having trouble breathing or maybe just pure fatigue idk I’m no expert) holy crap I like got these goosebumps and eerie reality of how people can push their bodies and mind so hard. It’s crazy. I mean in marathons by mile 20 a majority of people’s bodies are screaming at them to stop because it’s sending messages that they’re dying. And to think there are people in this world that do 200-300 miles races are just beyond me and freak me out.

Human nature is interesting: some will consider their limits with humility/modesty, happy with what they could do. Some consider their limits as a bully who forbids them to go further and that must be silenced. Finding equilibrium is key to find a durable happiness.
