Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my youtube channel Metal Detecting Out West. Everything on here will be about Metal Detecting, Gold Prospecting, Meteorite Hunting, Nugget Shooting and some Coin / Relic / Treasure hunting.
I have always been interested in metal detecting since I was 12 years old, finding anything in the ground.
Any questions, or comments, feel free to ask, as I will usually respond the same day, or two later.
So many places to explore so little time. - Dave

Dry lake hunt was near Ely, Nevada
Wow👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Wow that one has been there for probably 50000 years.
9:17 its a Valve Stem from a Tire Tube or for a Tubeless Tire... if its for a Tubeless tire its newer.... I'm heading from Alberta Canada to Nervada Pahrump to metal Detect the Desert again :) 2023
... omg that's the road to my house!!!! I know that cluster of cacti anywhere. I like about 2 miles west if vulture city. The other day I was exploring the dry bed on my property and found a lot of flakes of gold without trying... when I bought the land that wasn't my intent... but I'm so excited to start this hobby... right on my own land!
I hope you find a golden bonanza !!!
@@MetalDetectingOutWest thanks! Me too... funny thing is I already struck it rich just buying this land! I know how blessed I am. Some see a desert waste land... I see a whole green world... I plan on building an oasis in the desert :) the ground sparkles everywhere you look. It's like the desert here is covered in glitter! I know it's mostly ground up quartz and fools gold... but I also know what other goodies are in this dirt!
That super fine In there
I would love to put my minelab to work detecting in Nevada. Great video.
What coil is that you are using on the CTX3030? Thanks
Found my first meteorite out by Standard wash a few days ago and thought I'd walk around Franconia. Cool find.
why doesn't it leave even a pit in the place or scatter the stones around?
I have also a meteorite How I can contact you

I concur to all who said window weight.
Wow, nice finds
Idk if those are meteorites
They are part of the Jungo and Tungsten meteorites classified in the Metbul. An Ordinary L to H Chondrite. James Tobin, who runs Meteorite Times Magazine went on this trip, and is in video, whos a 30+ year professional found a few and confirmed all, this trip was featured in the July 2019 Meteorite Times Magazine also. Thank you for watching...
@@MetalDetectingOutWest nice check some of my stones out.
Such a great landscape for a meteorite hunt, so terrible for meteorites themselves (salt). That's a fantastic find! Congrats, Dave!

Cool stuff , I have a couple specimen pieces I would like to acid bath, do you have to change the mixture add more or is it just about time submerged ? How do you neutralize the acid and dispose of it?
جميل جدا أحسنت رائع جدا ِ..
Great hunt and video adventures! Congrats on the finds guys!
Thank you Jason. Havent been able to get out much, or do videos. Have been taking care of sick/ terminal wife. She passed away last Sunday.. :(..... will start getting back into everything soon, and need to do more videos. You need to get out for some hunting also good buddy...
Its a window wieght used to open old wooden windows. Rope from bottom of window runs around a fully and the week wieghts move freely inside the wall cavity
Nice chunker!
