The thing is, Deadpool is for BOYS! moms aren’t even allowed in! They just drop me and my BUDDIES off at the theater and pay for our tickets so the cashier knows we have parent permission. Then she picks us up and makes us HAMBURGER HELPER before our SLEEPOVER. and if we have a nightmare about the scary parts, she comforts US and tells US we are her BRAVE LITTLE BOYS!!!

I know you people love RRR much more than KALKI - its natural bcoz Rajamouli did not had luxury or thought of SEQUELLING RRR - - had to tell everything under THREE HOURS - so it was PACKAGED that way KALKI on the other hand is VERY DEEPLY ENGROSSED / ENGRAVED in our MYTHOLOGY FOUR YUKGAS -- 5th is KALI YUGA -- ERA of KALI (BAD TIMES) - ZERO MORALITY) KALKI as in our VEDAS & BHAGHAWAD PURANAS says will RESTORE MORALITY in the EARTH as in Abrahamic RELIGIONS -- DEAD RESURRECTED from their GRAVES TAKEOVER EARTH & ONLY either Christianity or Islam takesover Here according to Hinduism MORALITY IN HUMAN BEINGS RESTORED & not RELIGION PRABHAS charector as KARNA has SIGNIFICANT history in Mahabharata Karna & Ashwatham were BEST BUDDIES in Mahabharata and WILL CONTINUE TO IN COMING DAYS too to KALKI AVATAR helping Kalki not just this - Ashwathama is IMMORTAL And there are 6 more IMMORTALS to be INTRODUCED who fight alongside KALKI against YAKSHA its too vast to explain Rest of the world were HUNTERS & GATHERERS -- India had CIVILIZATION and LITERATURE with HIGH MORALITY thats why WESTERN PIRATES & JIHADIS -- saw & looted & ravaged INDIA as if it is a GOLDEN GOOSE Even today whole WORLD IS FACING INFLATION -- INDIA dont Guess why

Hope this helps in understanding. from India. It draws from the events at the end of the epic Mahabharata and the Mahabharata war in which the previous Avatar of Vishnu or Krishna is present as the charioteer and projects it to the next or 10th and final Avatar of Vishnu that is Kalki and to the imagined events of his birth at the end of Kali Yuga or the Age of Darkness. As per ancient Indian scriptures Kaliyuga starts with death of Krishna and ends with Kalki who destroys darkness and restores balance to the world and creation. Comparing it with anything else except a few stylisations is missing the point. If you really want to get the context read a little into at least the Mahabharata and the concept of yuga though at most places you will find wrong idea of timelines. The Character of Aswathhama (old man) played by Amitabh Bachhan is a character of Mahabharata who was cursed with immortality for his crime of killing unborn children in the mothers womb. Yes in Hindu tradition immortality is a curse as it prevents you from renewing yourself. Aswathhama lives through 6000 yrs to protect the unborn child that is destined to be the 10th Avatar Kalki and be released of his curse of immortality and bringing his Karma full circle. Madhava is another name for Avatar Krishna. If there is anything else you want to know of the scriptural or historical/ Puranic context pl do ask. Yes Mahabharata and Puranas are part of history in the Dharmic tradition and most Indians believe this to be true in parts if at times not whole owing to distortions of time.

Also Prabhas is adorably shy and humble and introverted in real life! 🥰 And apparently loves to feed people! And he looks like and can act like a macho man without actually being one? Swoon!!! I’ve watched Kalki 4 times already because Raia is my niece!! ! We are soooooo proud of her! But also both the interval climax and the end climax give me goosebumps like nothing else. They give me goosebumps when I even think about them! Having grown up Hindu, loving Hindu mythology as a child, and feeling jaded as an adult by the state of corruption, greed, materialism, powermongering and cruelty that already exists in our world today, let alone if let it continue for 800 years, this movie made me cry…like literal waterfalls were pouring forth from my eyes at the interval climax! Who doesn’t wish for God to return to save us from ourselves? Unfortunately I feel like that’s a metaphor and not literal. But I really hope this movie awakens the desire for tomorrow in all of our people…repadi kosam!!

Man, Gator was a little punk for so much of the show but I felt so bad for him. Joe Keery had such an incredible performance. I feel like if Gator wasn’t portrayed the way Joe performed it, he could’ve easily been SO insufferable. He killed it and I really had a soft spot for him. Honestly for me, from start to end. He was very complex.

The de-aging vfx was not good at all. It looked like a video game character whenever he spoke and the eyes were ridiculously large looking like a cartoon. They really should have gone with red chillies (Indian vfx company) for that part instead of DNEG. Kalki 2898 AD is the pride of Indian Cinema and Telugu Cinema. One word review: MINDBLOWING. Do not miss it at any cost. I hope Kalki surpasses every Indian movie produced so far including RRR, Dangal, Jawan, Pathaan, Baahubali 2, KGF 2, Animal and becomes the most successful Indian film without inflating box office collections. Absolutely mindblowing except some unnecessary cringe masala and cringe comedy with Bhairava in the first half. Kamal Haasan part is pure horror. The way they have imagined landscapes, environments, weapons, vehicles, powers, Mahabharata scenes is truly exceptional and spectacular. My one suggestion to Nag Ashwin is to explore the Complex society and the outside world more in depth because on the surface it looks like everyone is doing well enough even though they are starving for food, water, clean oxygen and they have just stuck some neon signs randomly on Indian alleyways and streets because that's how cyberpunk movies do it. Anyone who says it is merely a copy of Star Wars, Dune, Mad Max, MCU deserve to drink Kali's tears lol. Excited for Kalki 2 more than I ever was for Brahmastra 2. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone are good but Amitabh Bachchan is the MVP. Wow. Disha Patani's part is simply waste. Roxxie could have still been used to show Bhairava the luxuries and abundance of the Complex without that cringe song. Also, unnecessary writing mistakes like superhuman Ashwatthama suddenly not being able to lift Sumathi up should not happen. I wish they would give Shree Krishna better look. No yellow angavastram or armor or jewels or mukut. Just a white cloth and a head band makes him look like a Greek hero. Personally I would have loved to see Shree Krishna blue instead of fair-skinned or dark-skinned because that's how we all grew up watching him in all images. Deserves to be watched atleast twice. PS. For non-Indians and Karna (son of Sun God Surya) fans watching this, Karna was not more powerful than Arjuna. Karna is an antagonist and an adharmi in the Mahabharata who was jealous of Arjuna and committed many evil deeds and suffered for his karma and choosing the wrong side against the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Shree Krishna. Period. But he is not a cheeranjeevi (immortal) like Ashwatthama. How has he reborn or reincarnated remains to be seen. Note that according to some, Karna pushing Arjuna's chariot back is a fake story and Ashwatthama surrendered the mani himself.

I'm a hindu but I personally didn't like Kalki atoll, there was no emotion in fight scenes, it didn't make me root for any characters. Nag should learn from Rajamouli. Rajamouli is the game changer of Indian cinema. Kalki was so boring. They wasted the money to create same stuffs we've seen in hollywood, instead of showing the beauty of Indian culture.

No. Kalki songs were not that great, only one song was good in kalki. In bahubali all songs was good. So overall Bahubali>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>kalki

U can't imagine d hurdles of an Indian filmmaker when he/she tries to make a different film or science fiction...here some religious groups of non Indian origin boycotting films of Prabhas n even Hrithik Roshan just coz he poses a competition to the actor of their religion....then imagine d money that's needed to make such a science fiction film blended with our history...as a guy who did BFA in film making from USA n knows Hollywood executives, here in India it's a very dangerous path to make such kind of cinema n then making it successful at box office...here people take money to spread negativity of a film even if it's good...then to have a good opening n coz both d director n producers r scared, they put commerical creative content to attract d fan base...even Nag Ashwin did film making course from USA n he knows d difference between Indian n American cinema but he had to find a middle path...but if u c d character arc of Prabhas,it makes such a great impact in d end only coz he was funny in d beginning...it's a psychological effect created on subconscious mind... anyways, dis director gave a tribute to all his favourite films like Star Wars n Blade runner..hehe

to bring in a little info, the characteristics of the main lead bhairava is kind of a redemption arc for the reincarnation he is of (karna), since the west aint aware of karna, its difficult to pick those up, showing the character, his past is quite important for the movie to unfold...
