  I agree wholeheartedly! We need to keep expectations manageable. I see nothing wrong with going nine and four counting a bowl win. I am much more concerned with being competitive in every game, than I am with any particular win total. I am perfectly fine with losing a couple of close games we were expected to win, as well as winning a couple we were not supposed to in the same way. This is a very talented team. But they are in the process of completely reinventing themselves under the brilliant direction of Mike Elko. We still have to develop that winning swagger that we have really never had in modern history! I want us to bring our lunch pails and our “never been licked”attitude to every game, at home or away. Winning is as much about attitude as it is about talent. And that is especially true when we go on the road. Something we have now sucked at several years in a row! Dramatic culture shift, checkmark Developing a winning attitude, to be determined. We are only halfway there! I am very optimistic, but we need to temper our expectations for this first year.

  What I don’t understand is Jimbo was fired because the roster wasn’t performing. Now you bring in Elko with a better roster. I’m expecting 10-2 if weigman is healthy last year was a decent line away from that

  The SEC is a dead end for the Aggies now. TEXAS takes the forefront, which is a slap in the face of Aggie nation. Go to the B1G, and be a huge presence representing all of Texas. At the same time, also joining a natural old rival ... Nebraska.

  Billy, if I had to guess they’re pouring concrete which should only happen a couple more times lol. It’s very common to pour at night, but regular construction shouldn’t start until 8am (at least that’s the rules where I’m from)

  I’ve been to many of these places in the SEC and BIG…..they are the EXACT same places. Iowa Saturday night, and Auburn are VERY comparable. Lol

  Sounds like dumb coaching. Not knowing how to utilize your players is a coaching problem. If you can bring talent in to win of that caliber then the coaching staff doesn’t know how to utilize the energy every week. Tell the boosters to find a coach that can bring a championship in and not their buddy.
