I use to live in California as a child and one of my favorite places to go was Olvera St. The sights, sounds and smells are something I never will forget.

Nice video. As well as walking the Brooklyn Bridge, you can walk the Manhattan Bridge. There are steps up to the bridge from Jay Street, just south of Sands Street. It's a grittier experience, with a chain link fence, but there are few tourists, and it offers stunning views of the Brooklyn Bridge. From a certain point, it looks like the Statue of Liberty is stood on the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge. And Pebble Beach, between the two bridges, is a nice spot to hang out, with incredible views of both bridges.

The shopping area is Merchants Square NOT Market Square. Market Square is 1/2 way down Duke of Gloucester Street-the area where the Magazine and Courthouse (not Capitol) are. That’s where markets and public auctions were held in the 18th century. Merchants Square is on the west end by the College, where 21st Century tourists shop, today.

This video really helped on making an itinerary for my summer trip to NYC in July; though I have a question. Which NYC Ferry is it? I looked on google maps and there are multiple ones. Is it all the same company and service? Thank you in advance
@travelingtipps10 күн бұрын
The "NYC Ferry" is a specific operator that has multiple routes that connect Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and now Staten Island. This is different from the Staten Island Ferry and the Governors Island Ferry. There are several routes, the route I think is best for visitors goes from the dock at Wall Street near South Street Seaport and goes north along the East River stopping at Dumbo, Williamsburg North/South among other stops. This route has some of the best views of the skyline and is the route I featured in the video. Check out their website (ferry.nyc) for all the routes and ticketing info

Love, love , love Monorail but the speaker system needs an update -- garbled sound most of time. Staying at Contemporary Resort is testament to my fascination with the Monorail -- I'm gonna be literally sleeping as close as possible to my fav transportation! I'm looking forward to trying the Skyliner. Your video gave me the extra push to ask Concierge more questions about transportation options for the day. Great tips, thx

I would never travel to NY city, for that matter New York itself. What a shameful communist state in the union. rule of law is what in NY? Give me give me give me is going to be harder for bullies; American’s hate bullies. I just have a hard time understanding why you N.Y.ers have not voted for a government that loves America or at least likes it.
