So I use DMSO Dimethyl sulfoxide solution as a carrier for topical magnesium. DMSO Carrie’s substances deep into your skin. It’s used in sports medicine and not enough people know about it. So diluted DMSO solution is what I rub on with a rag and then spray the magnesium onto the skin. DMSO amplifies the healing effects of magnesium. For muscles aches and injuries this has been a live saver for us. I’ll add that I also rub an opened capsule of boron with the DMSO and magnesium and that’s a winning combo!! Boron as you may know enhances absorption of magnesium both topically and orally

Where do the heavy metals fall to. There is nowhere to go except to the bottom on the jar. If you drink all the water you"ve drunk the heavy metals. You need to explain how this works. I really thinks this was fase information saying it removes heavy metals. Where is it going...

One very important note. Yes the organism itself is resilient to heat BUT the enzyme nattokinase is not! If you are eating it for the health benefits of this food you do NOT want to heat it. Again, the organism in natto survives the heat but the enzyme with all the health benefits is destroyed by heat. Just wanted to clear that up. Keep eating natto!!!

Donna, I started consuming about 1.5 cups of my homemade milk kefir everyday for about 2 weeks now and I’m noticing that my urine is suddenly cloudy. Could this be the yeast from the kefir I’m consuming? I’ve always been a milk addict and I’ve generally never noticed cloudy urine ever before. I’ve made no other changes to my diet other than kefir. Could this be candida yeast? Thanks.

I began making my own kefir last autumn after a tick bite gave me Borreliosis, and I had to take a long course of antibiotics. I have two different kinds of grains, Tibetan and Caucasian. The Tibetan grains are very small and individual. The Caucasian grains are bigger grains than the Tibetan and are like cauliflower, some growing together. Can you please talk about their differences? Thank you.

Are there any temperature concerns for shipping kefir grains? Things are starting to warm up and I know they do better in cooler temps so I was wondering if there would be a loss of biodiversity during shipping and if I should try to time it for a cooler time period?

When I started making my own yogurt in a crockpot at first I used lifeway keifer as starter. Later I realized I preferred thicker yogurt so tried Greek, usually store brand live culture, then white mountain Bulgarian yogurt. The sibo blend was my newest one to add and I got some cheapo probiotic supplement recently at a dollar tree of all places of whatever that one id you mention a lot with baffido that starts with a A. Made a yogurt with that believe it or not. So now including the keifer currently in my fridge and the water keifer on my mini deep freezer in my living room in my apt I've got 5 types of yogurt and 2 types of keifer one a yogurt one. Btw, I tend to strain the whey from every yogurt except for keifer and I have once used the whey to ferment a crockpot farmers cheese that was unfermented I made with old milk that was a day or two from spoiling. I made the cheese, pressed it, let it set and sliced it. Then popped in a jar with the whey and some probiotic fiber since I used sibo yogurt whey and fermented in my casori insta pot knock off for 36 hours. Ten out of ten a recipe worth trying again. Also some of my yogurt I've got on hand I made with raw milk and when my snap comes in again I will get some to make the keifer with. And btw, with any of these or fermented veggies pro tip for gakd out there, depends and any fermented veggies or yogurt works great for female yeast infections. I'm in Texas and am on the bus, this time of year that's a major issue but also off and on year around thanx to cycle. Not fun, but I'm avoiding UTI or female cyst again so not really upset about the not fun part.

Thank you for making these informative podcasts. My oldest daughter was pumped full of antibiotics on the day she was born to prevent sepsis due to complications and as a result she has been suffering through stomach issues her entire life. I've been making fermented foods and einkorn sourdough bread for the past 2 months and things seem to be improving. I have yet to make Kefir but I want to add that next.

Hi Donna 😊 I have a question, I make SIBO yogurt or l reuteri yogurt with 2 tablespoons of the last yogurt I made and 2 tablespoons of inulin. After 24 hours at the most it is already set. Is it really necessary to ferment it for 36 hours? My SIBO yogurt smelled strange after 36 hours, I didn't have the feeling that it was edible. I have the impression that it is enough to ferment it for 24 hours. What is your opinion? Sorry for my bad English. Best wishes from Germany. Sigrid 💝
