As a content creator, surely you know and should expect a few brickbats amongst the many adulations you get, so here goes ~ Malaysians generally look down upon (and some downright despise) proud display of wealth or success, and in this case your showing/ purchasing a brand new house while most malaysians can only dream of renting, much less of buying. Adding salt to the wound is the 'gleeful' display on how cheap it is to a foreigner with the purchasing power while Malaysians have to scrape by daily to make ends meet. Do realize that a large section of the local society actually despise the emergence of a foreign population driving up the cost of living while putting strains on the existing cultural/social fabric. . While we do appreciate your honest intentions in these videos, please be aware of the sensitivities and reactions from the local viewers.

Thank you so very much for such a thorough breakdown! I'm an educational technology and course design specialist in higher education in the US with 25 years of experience. I also have experience with online business running my own Amazon business. I'm considering early retirement and relocating, and I'm wondering what work or investment opportunities are available for people with a background like mine in Malaysia!

A few years ago, I went to kota bharu kelantan with family. Rent a homestay for few days. Just opposite airport. Even just a typical single storey terrace , it has a swimming pool. It's even just cute, but it makes my kids really happy for it. So for those plan to kota bharu by flight, may try for it.. really recommended 👍

One thing to bear in mind when you go to small private hospitals in Malaysia is that, when there are complications in the surgery or treatment, the patient is sent to the Government Hospitals to sort out the complications. Sometimes the patient recovers and sometimes doesn't. When the patient sent to the Government Hospital from a Private Hospital eventually dies despite the lastvditch efforts, the Government Hospital gets blamed.

Malaysia is attractive primarily because of the purchasing power of the pound / GBP. It's the same with where my parents are from Bangladesh ... the pound goes a long way over there.

I think non muslim can stay if they can convince the owner there won't be bringing any alcohol or pork or dogs. If there were pork and dogs, it's going to cost the owner more on cleaning the utensils and carpets (six times with water, and one with water mix with soil). Some family pray together in the living room, so they have to keep it clean. All being said, to make it short, just say for muslim only. 😅 My family own a homestay as well, and i love to explain to non muslim guests why we had to. Cleaning the carpets is not an easy feat and would take a week to dry.

Malaysia has our own meat industry but we don't cut our beef/meat like the western did. If you buy local meat in the local wet market, farmer's market or night market, they did not not cut like sirloin/tenderloin etc etc. The local cut is called "batang pinang" - tenderloin and other cut its just called daging pejal or daging no 1 or no 2. We Malaysian dont ask for sirloin in our local market
