How long does it take from the train station to the cinque a terra?

I am going with my friend in October 2024, on the Costa Pacifica and as my friend has slight mobility problems, I think we will be ok taking the train to Manorola I am so happy because I didn't think she would be able to cope with the walking and be stuck in La Spezia for the day

I just got back from my cruise on this ship and it was one of the best vacations of my life the food was amazing the locations were super fun. We went to Costa Maya Mexico, Roatan Honduras, we were supposed to go to Belize but we couldn’t because of the storm and instead we went to Mexico again Cozumel this time and then finished off in Nassau Bahamas the cruise was June 29 to July 6
Me an my husband had a fantastic time doing this, we laughed a lot as I got stuck an everyone kept pinging off me
It was a lot of fun, we did get wedged a few time but we laughed a lot! Good fun! Glad you enjoyed it too 😁
Booked for September on Skylar after wattching your videos - Thanks. Gone with "Full Board Plus" so not the extra £126. We dont drink much alcohol so fine with just meals. What I cannot quite work out is if the self service tea and coffee machine is included for us or restricted for the extra payment people!
Thank you! To clarify the hot drinks machine is available for all passengers to use so you can use it as much as you like without the package. Hope you have a wonderful time!

I always travel sterage class on QM2 as I used it for transportation.......I've seen the prices for these suites...how the 1% lives

Great video, great to see all the dishes in detail. Sindhu and afternoon tea In Epicurean were our favourites. We didn’t do Green & Co and really wish we had. Interesting that you mentioned the grab and go cabinets, I kept looking to see what was offered there but never saw them in use. Great video Laura. You're better than me, I wouldn't take the traghetto.. but I did enjoy the alilaguna from the airport. The area across the ponte Dell'Accademia was worth a visit alright. Was popular in the evening and nice promenade walk as well. I would have liked the rooftop view from the shopping centre but didnt have time as only there 24 hours. We found all the little streets really interesting and especially enjoyed walking around in the evening when it was quieter..totally changed my mind about Venice
Thanks Anne, we were staying further away from the main areas and so we didn’t get a chance to walk around in the evenings so much but I’d like to do that more if we return. That area over from the Accademia bridge was nice and certainly much quieter during the day. It was quieter in the evenings where we were, which was nice after the crowds in the touristy areas during the day.
Lots of great tips. I particularly like the idea of a gondola crossing for €2
We did! If we’d have had more time we would have done some of the other crossings but further up the grand canal they were shorter so we picked the best one.
My wife and I have just returned from a 10-day Mediterranean cruise on the Azamara Pursuit. Our first experience of this type of cruise and I must say that all expectations were met! Great ship and even better service. Of course there is room for improvement, but the overall impression was very positive. And yes, we took advantage of the self-service laundry! 😄
This was our first experience of a small-ship cruise and we enjoyed it too. It was the little touches we noticed that were really nice. Wished we’d have had longer because a week flew by too quickly! We think the laundry is a good feature and definitely got used a lot on our cruise.

It was! Quite a lot to fit in but definitely a good few days seeing the main sights of Venice. I’m sure it won’t be the last time we visit.

Well at least you know now, some places were very good, others just ok
well its nearly Iceland time some of the excursions are over hundred and sixty each ive gone for Belfast and lewis @ ease godafus waterfall golden circle tour and Reykjavik @ease that's about 800 sail on 4th july from liverpool with ambassador
Excursions can be very pricey, we usually try and do things independently to keep the cost down
The deck right above has multiple loungers and 2 hot tubs.
Yes, it’s usually a bit quieter up there
It's a lovely feature, far nicer than the promenade on other new ships like the Queen Anne. The screens are no big deal.

Great video Laura! As you said, it's perfectly adequate for 7 nights and I'd certainly go with Azamara again if the price was right.
Totally agree! I’ve spotted a few reasonably priced cruises with Azamara and would happily cruise with them again. The cabin had everything we needed and being an older ship the balcony was a generous size.

Great review. I have a dk 4 cabin booked for the wife any myself in July for 2 weeks. I think I will survive, but the wife may struggle in keeping it tidy! I'm disappointed by the crew only partying till 2am. Standards have dropped since I was an officer in p and o 😂🤣
Thank you, they clearly aren’t made of the same stuff these days! The cabin and the deck were fine, just our cabin location - but we took a risk. My mum and dad booked after us and got a better location on Deck 4 so it’s really lucky of the draw.

Just returned from a Rhone Crusie with Riviera, everything was very good indeed, however our food selection and quality was nothing like that shown in the Video, it was more canteen style, having said that we have re-booked for next year on the new Riviera Rose.
I’m sorry to hear the food wasn’t as good. Funnily enough we’ve booked Riviera Rose next year too. Looks like a stunning ship and hoping the food will be equally wonderful. We can’t wait to cruise on the Douro.

This was amazing video. Thank you so much! Helpful. However , we are coming in on Virgin into Marina Del Carrera. Do you know how far Marina Del Carrera port is from La Spezia? And wondering if there is a shuttle that takes us from Marina to Carrera to La Spezia. Would you know ow that answer?
Thank you for your comment. We’ve not done it ourselves but there is a direct train from Carerra-Avenza train station to La Spezia Centrale. We would get a taxi from the port to this train station (there is a bus but not sure how fast it is). At La Spezia you can buy the Cinque Terre card and go from there in the direction of Levanto to reach the villages. Just give yourself plenty of time to get back to the port.

One more question.. if I buy a cinque terra card will that give me access to get from La Spenzia to Cinque Terra OR do I have to buy a separate ticket to get from La spenzia to cinque terra? I did this online through the Trenitalia app and I think I did it wrong. I first bought a ticket from La spenzia to Monterosso then bought a Cinque Terra card. I don’t think I need both. I did it online because they said that the lines might get crazy. Any advise would be great. Thank you!
@@adrianaduque9290 the Cinque Terre Card gives you unlimited train travel for the day between La Spezia and the five villages of the Cinque Terre so that’s all you need.
I think all cruise ships should have laundry especially for ironing… we cruised on the Island Princess last year for 22 nights and it was a plus…it’s expensive to pay for laundry on the new ships!
I completely agree, it’s a great facility to have, especially for longer cruises. We have used the laundry in the past on Grand Princess to wash clothes but generally use the iron for shirts. We ended up spending a lot on our Royal Caribbean cruise on pressing services as there was no laundry room!
Agree, I think I'd spend most of my evenings and days in The Livingroom, it looks wonderful! Also... that sail into Kotor!!!! 😍
The Living Room was a great venue day and night, it was definitely our favourite. The sail into Kotor was beautiful and reminded us very much of the Norwegian Fjords 😍
Great ship tour Laura! We really enjoyed our time on Azamara Pursuit, it's a lovely ship. However my one dislike was the very tiny shower room in our balcony cabin.
Oh yes, very small shower. I had to lean against the wall and shaving my legs was a nightmare! Will be definitely covering that in my cabin tour!
@@CruiseLifestyle We were on a R class, Ocean Regatta, for our 28 night French Polynesia cruise. I'd never book an R class ship again for longer than 7 nights .
@@angelahorton5745 we met a few passengers whilst we were onboard who had done three weeks on a B2B2B. If I was them, I’d definitely have considered waxing my legs beforehand 🤣
