    Thank you! Bought a Pro+ from Ebay, and I didnt know why my batteries werent working. Bought a new battery, didnt help. I ended up seeing videos online and all the batteries were showing bluelights and mine was green. This video helped a bunch! Thank you. You saved me $200+ dollars!

    Thanks for this! I ordered a strip that has 300 aLEDs on it and was annoyed to plug it into my mobo and find that exactly 120 of them seem to work. I had thought it was defective since ASUS says it supports up to 500, but I had a feeling that they might be misleading since it says that it can address up to 500 LEDs, aka control 500 of them, but nothing about how many it could power from the header.

    Why does the data signal stop, how does that work?

    So in theory I can use the power from an unused argb port from the motherboard and connect the data(/ground) from the argbfan hub that is controlled with the frontpanel. My bequiet 500fx case controller only supports 30 leds(when all 3 pin ports are used).

    I'll be grateful for the rest of my life. Thank you for making this video and for figuring out the pinout - it has truly made my day. I'm working on a similar project and was frustrated by ThermalTake's lack of detailed information when purchasing their fans on Amazon. Your video and contribution have been immensely helpful. I greatly appreciate it and offer a virtual fist bump in gratitude. 🤜🏻💥🤛🏻

    I have the exact problem with noise, but the mic I use doesn't have a separate port for power and sound. Is there anything I could do? Would it be possible to have a split cable between a microphone jack for sound and a USB cable for power? Great video by the way

  • @cac2244
    @cac22445 ай бұрын

    I don't know if you connect your mic to a usb interface or directly to a motherboard/ laptop, but if to an interface, try to put ferrites to the power cable and also try to switch usb cable. If you connect to a desktop motherboard, try to see if it has a usb isolated port for audio, most modern motherboard have such isolated ports.

    Yeah I just finished doing this, took forever on a keychron k6 pro. I had Brown switches with clear housing, so I swapped the housing and it ended up perfect. It sounds excellent and feels amazing, much better than the browns. Using pudding keycaps, lets the light shine right through.

    I have the inland lightning. It is firm but, not too hard and is the most comfortable for me. I’ve sat on a maxnomic and feels like the seats on frontier airlines which is a little too firm. The DXRacer king series is close to the sweet spot for me on the bottom cushion and wish the backrest is a little firmer and has a better lumbar system. I like good head, back, tailbone, and pelvis support but not so firm that my butt feels flattened after long sessions.

    I would also like to be sure on how many RGB headers I need on the motherboard as you said, you need all 3 cables pluged into the motherboard or just 1 5V header

    now that controller on/ there web site say's it can run only 5 fans recommended your running 7 and it still works will it work with 6 tough fans 14 RGB new ones/ I would like to run all 6 on one controller, will that work, and will it show up on the TT RGB plus software also?

    You can heat the Display on the middle front with a heatgun and lossen the glue, which is only a tape 2-3mm around th edge and than pry it open with a razorblade. thats what i did and it worked. so no breaking any plastic.

    Looks like they revised the PCB in the V2 from the V1. I have the v! and have a horrible ground loop buzz when using usb so it's basically useless. I never found a fix for it.

    So just to make sure I'm right about this: The PWM control in a standard PWM PC fan is done inside the fan using a 0-5V control signal from the motherboard? So you can bypass the need for that control signal by just providing power that has already been "PWM'd"? And you can effectively control 3-pin fans with PWM if you have an external PWM controller like the one you're using? I've tried googling (and bing-ing and DDG-ing) these questions, but every obvious result on all services is about controlling PC fans in a PC, not outside.

    If there are fanboys here, I'll just state that 10 of my switches died after 3.5 years of moderate use. Talking to Roccat's support got me nothing but a 15% discount on new Roccat products. They don't even want to send me replacement switches. Absolutely disgusting. So if anyone is thinking of buying this keyboard brand new - DON'T.
