I don't like stealing from other players... because they are really expectant and selfish... It's like accepting terms of a Curse and I will never enjoy it... So, if I can't get to where they are, then I just use those ideas and incorporate them in my own playing...In my own way; and then be able to enjoy my own playing...Classic Rock, like Hendrix/Clapton never ever did one sweep, or hammer on... Eddie's son, Wolfgang is being praised for his very simple and nonsensical playing... So, master class guitar players, to me anyway, started with all those technical applications from the beginning and it came more natural for them... Capish!? Django Rinheart, Joe Pass, Richie Blackmore...never was able to play like you, but they created their own technical styles...and were praised as rock's Greats!

I try to go a lot to the tempo and notice that I don't alter anything and I don't sound dirty and each note sounds very clean, that is, with the palmutes and changes of fifths and company. Playing clean costs more, but when you achieve it it makes you feel better, especially because of the sound you get, playing clean gives pleasure, is my opinion; and in the end you end up playing the song, you just have to practice, but of course, don't start thinking that on the first day you will play like Slayer... start with slower songs

I bought a guitar course from Michael Angel Bateo about 2 years ago. Havent even past the first two lessons. He seems like a nice enough guy he just talks a lot about himself and how good he is. Steve Stein is a also terrific but no one out there seems to be actually showing you technique. I liked this vid. Useful tips on not moving your pinky too much etc. The finances are a bit of a problem these days but if I get the cash together in the future I might try one of the courses here. Im sure y'all been. You pay for endless courses in recording, mixing, singing , playing. It's a never ending stream of signing up for courses.

If I played solos I'm sure I would be guilty of some of this. But it's hard to tell since I never play stuff like this as a rhythm/riff focused player. Title should be 5 bad lead guitar habits :)

with the minor, minor, major and the interval of the notes matching up: it is very similar to whipping post by the allman brothers band. The minor minor major regarding the main progression, and the intervals of the scale you have chosen regarding the harmonic riff after the line 'sometimes i feel like im dying'. Very cool stuff.

Is it 1 triplet per beat or 2 triplets per beat? If 2 , would I count triple let triple let during every beat or is there a better way to count this ?
