    Yea, seems legit. I was blocked nearly shut once yesterday, and then I started hitting deep and looking for hands. Works wonders.

    All in the core. Bring your left arm up high and pull it down HARD right before you swing to get that whip effect. (Assuming you’re right handed)

    @@malice9685only works if you have strong shoulders and biceps, cuz if not your hands will give and you’ll hurt yourself

  • @reckingcrew2277
    @reckingcrew227722 сағат бұрын

    @@Rock_of_SisyphusI disagree, the only strength you need is in the core, your arms are basically whipping through the air. Any average persons arm/shoulder strength is plenty to hit balls really hard.

    I think this is a great way to practice hitting against a block. The only problem is not every one has personal time on an indoor court to do it.

  • @rafa_polesh1600
    @rafa_polesh16006 күн бұрын

    I don't think so Think after about 5 swings, you know exactly where the " block " is and it's a still block. Players in game will move their blocks, be late for them, be early, have momentum side ways. There are so many different things that you can't practice with a Matt. And can with a good blocker

    My brother played Vball. Got pretty high up and even got to college level and above. Won’t say his name because he quit after they didn’t put him in the Japan Olympics. The way he “trained” me was to throw the ball as hard as he could at me… this method seems much more effective.

    You can skip to the last paragraph if you don’t wanna read all this… im sorry it’s so long (the last paragraph is not a summary btw) I loved volleyball because Haikyuu was my favorite anime, in the school year of watching it my 6 foot volleyball athlete friend brought his ball to school around the same time as our final exams. A week before our final exams he accidentally left it at school so we kept it for a while, then he didnt attend school for about a week and he let us play with it the whole time, it was usually the girls who would bring it home It was my first ever time playing volleyball and the few volleyball players who actually trained were saying that I was very good at a doing float serves. Fact is I actually learned float serves watching Haikyuu… at that time I was the best person at float serves. But now after the school year ended (oh btw this was only 2 months ago) Imm now back at my home. And I was talking to my friend about something and she invited me to go to volleyball training center with her. But before this I also bought a mikasa vball and I said the price and my athlete friend was going insane cuz the ball the school gave him was also from mikasa but 5 times cheaper cuz its the hard one for outside volleyball and mine was the soft one for indoors Now I’m regularly practicing my serves, tosses, and receives in my room and sometimes the living room (near the huge tv…..) waiting for the volleyball training I’m sorry for making an essay lol Edit: spelling mistake

    I forgot the reason I made my comment and told a story instead…. The reason was so I can share how I practice The living room is next to the stairs to the 2nd floor so there’s curtains that go very high and I usually practice my serve and tosses by stopped them with it (right next to the tv btw..) And sometimes I train my tossing power by hitting it against a wall in my room and I train reaction time and receiving by trying to receive that
