Check out my original music, including my new 2nd album "Halfway to Somewhere" I also upload weekly VLOGs following my life as a professional musician. I bring nearly 40 years of guitar playing experience to my videos about playing live, playing guitar and gear talk. I also have many video lessons, reviews and live videos to enjoy. You may have already heard my guitar on TV, Radio or film or played my compositions in music exams so I'm explaining some of the tips and tricks I use every day.

your fly is open :)
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 why on earth would you want to move the individual strings higher or lower if you're neck & your Floyd are set up correctly? 😉
I've never forgiven The Eagles for bringing us $70 concert tickets way back in the 80's with the hell froze over tour. The Eagles hasn't been about the music for a long, long time if they ever were. Screw Don Henley and all who sail in her...
Every British Bands didn't sing live all miming Brits can't sing worth crap lmao.
Vince Gill use's pitch correction not all live
In my opinion.....live should be live. End of. I saw Bjork.OMG, that is singing. My hero is Ian Gillan......agreed he doesn't do 'Child of mine' now, but I'm certain he doesn't mime. Many artists have cancelled this year and many festival's too. I personally believe people now know alot are miming.....so not buying tickets.I could be wrong, but Wings of Pegasus has sent shock waves through a now educated public. Great vlog by the way. 😎☯️🌱
Great review T, glad to see you working loads and spreading the vibe of goodness wherever you go, and your playing is always top drawer my friend. Love to the Family. Deeboy.xx
Thank you!! Hope to see you soon!!
Holy crap, you go boy!!
Latency is 5ms.
😅🎶👍You should sing together with Mr. D. in the band, would sound good. Your voice almost sounds like an Eagle. Ups, may I say that? 🙊😎🧐😏🤫😁
Our singer uses this. Works great.
Milli Vanilli were run out of the music business yrs ago for doing this and now everyone is doing it!
Really clever idea! Useful for quite a few situations I can think of! No more having to worry about having long enough cables to the PA and cuts down cable clutter. Also good to know you used it as a backup for the wireless mic. Thanks for the review.
Brilliant piece of kit...
wow awesome
Fil is awesome! He knows his stuff.
Came for the gear, stayed for the playing. Great stuff. I really thought no one could match Pete or Andy. But there you go. I have both, and my heart goes out to the JCM800. And you are right, no matter how full a pedalboard is, and how much time you spend tweaking stuff at home, nothing sounds the same on stage.
Song at 4:13 is hysterical
Allen Heath doesn't have support for their products, only knowledge base. I bought CQ 20B recently and can't connect with CQ app on desktop computer. I used Ethernet cable. Guitar Center also didn't help me, just gave me instructions how to return. By the way I used many keyboards, plugins so I am pretty experienced in digital field and this connecting iss probably a simple but tricky issue.. Goodbye Allen Heath, never again.
Nice one Tom, always a bit daunting booking a venue and putting tickets up for sale then waiting to see if anyone gives a flying, nice to see that they do and that doing a 2nd show is the right thing to do. Just in case you or your subscribers haven't heard or discovered this band yet, please check The Brothers Landreth 'Let It Lie' album, it has been on my playlist more than John Mayer...LOL... Take care and love to the Family mate. Deeboy.xx
Was that Bernth’s grandad on bass? 😂
He has bad light sensitivity and has always worn shades
I've always found the Eagles to be very overrated, but the fact that all these greedy old geezers who can't pull off legitimate performances any more just refuse to retire because stupid boomers are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for a ticket is what's disgusting.
Well i got bat2ce.. such an amazing rich sound.
Don Hensley is lip syncing to pre-recorded vocals in these recent shows, it's been proven.
These bands are asset management companies. Performing good music for maybe five years. And going on stacking millions over millions. The fraud has a name: capitalism. Accept it. You live in it.
Good to see a busy show. Its a pity the drummer is sitting baby in the corner.
Great concert Tom, one of the best intimate concerts I've been too! Fantastic musicianship all round, and your guitar work was on fire that night! Well done looking forward to your new CD! 😊
Not a country fan but Funky Country Boy was great. There’s some “Up on Cripple Creek” in the opening riffs. That seems like a tough song to stay in time to. Well done to the band.
Catchy tunes. Funny you did this. We’ve rented a venue for our band too.
Great concert. But.... as an audience member at smaller gigs I hate musicians wearing IEM's. All my shouting of encouragement and.. sometimes.. humorous heckling are met with... silence. Sadly it's happening more and more: I may as well listen to the CD in the comfort of my own home. PS was hoping for some Widdly Diddly, and wasn't disappointed...
Great track!!!👏👏👏
Great vid… and music. the show looked awesome! Everything sounds great. Love your guitar work.
Wonderful, wonderful, some of the best music is played locally.
Watched a superbowl halftime effort..such a joke sheeple love it
Sorry to burst the "trend bubble" to some here, but I had never heard about you before, and hands down, I prefer your playing.
Thanks! Not sure if you'll be in the majority there!!
Thank you so much very useful info
Ah did you! I prefer the amp myself! Glad you like the tracks!
Fantastic band, 51 years ago. My favorite performance with Eagles is the 1973 BBC Peaceful Easy Feeling with Leadon, Meisner, Frey and Henley. A fantastic performance!!!
The majority of the time the lead vocalist will hold the mic out towards the audience and let them sing the high parts and also when using autotune, the part of the word that is stretched/extended is the vowel sound, so what happens is all the vowels sounds end up sounding identical every time they are extended, it dehumanises the voice but is what has become the norm in today's recordings. There is a note altering piece of software called Melodyne which is a lot more subtle and when used properly I g'tee you wouldn't know the notes have been manipulated, but at the end of the day a singer singing live, on stage, right in front of you, is 100 times better whatever the key of the song ends up being.
Agreed!
Back in the 1990s I was playing in a cover band which was using a midi player for almost everything including drums. My job was mimicing the drums on an electronic Simmons kit. I was young and needed the money.
this was very helpful. thanx
Was hoping you could share your expertise and build a rig for Jeff Beck's "Where Where You." Thank you kindly Sir in advance.
You got off lightly i was quoted over £900 for a front row ticket, too rich for my blood!
What size is the pick you are using for the string height test?
Fender extra heavy
why not capture your actual amp and use that on the QC? It's not really apples-to-apples otherwise. Capturing our own gear has made ALL the difference for my band.
I have captured my own amps, but I prefer the models to the captures, they seem to react more naturally. With my amps I set them different every gig.....and I can't capture all the variables...with the models you can adjust as necessary. But I agree.....it would make a much better direct comparison!! This wasn't a very scientific test....I just thought it was interesting as everything else except the amp/modeller was the same!
Came for the demo, stayed for the playing.
Thank you!
I've seen them then 3 times and not once did I hear the Long Run
Amp , more full tone.
Amp every day of the week… maybe concider something like a Captor X so you can use a IR and get the best of both worlds.
I'll check that out thanks!
You rock! 🎉
Thanks!
