Thanks. 👍
Hey Sam! Are you planning to move? Let me know how I can help you. Thanks!
Fair Oaks Ranch is nice. Just a stone's throw away from Boerne. I had an Aunt and Uncle that lived there and would commute to work in SA everyday.
Yes you’re correct. They are pretty close. Fair oaks has some very nice scenery and prices of homes/land tend to be a little higher here, but totally worth it since Boerne and San Antonio are so close. You have the option of being far enough from the city, but still close enough to that you’re not totally out of civilization.
How about Kerrville? 57 mi. away
Kerrville is also nice. You’ll find larger lots/acreage if that’s what you’re looking for?
You should talk about property taxes too. Helotes comes in at a whopping 3% while Bandera and Boerne hover around 1.7…1.9.
That’s a great point. Thank you for your comment and support. 🙌🏼
When are you looking to buy or sell?
I wish SA was as conservative as you say, but it's run by some pretty radical liberals and it's a sanctuary city. Also, the crime rate is off the scale.
Since I'm related to both families, let me help your pronunciation ... 'Haby' is said with a long A sound, and 'Dziuk' is said Duke ;-) Alsatian is a French/German mix ... interesting combo of sounds
Tomato… Tamato… 🤷🏻♂️ I knew I wasn’t pronouncing them 100% correctly, but at least I was able to promote both business! Good snacks at both locations. 😊
@@vivasanantonio347 I wasn't being 'snippy,' just letting you know for the future .. and, yes, tasty snacks at both
@@lauriivey7801 Oh neither was I… Yes! Thank you so much. I’m probably going to do some more videos in the area, so I’ll definitely keep in mind. 😊 Stay Tuned… 🙏🏼
@@vivasanantonio347 Will do
thank you, i lived there an eternity ago but i sure do miss it. thinking about coming back
Once a San Antonian always a San Antonian! I would love to help you find your back. Let's talk when you are ready. Thank you for the comment and support! 🙂

Thank You!
I think i can live in San Antonio ive been thinking about moving to Texas for a few years now 😊
That’s Great! I can certainly guide you through the process. Would you like to set up a call to show you how?
Would love to help. Let me know when you are available to talk?
Stop sending people here. We are happy now
Once again, no respect for my hometown of Jourdanton, Texas 28 miles south of San Antonio, Texas. Hell,, lowly Poteet gets more press than we do. I guess it's the strawberries.
Once again, my hometown of Jourdanton, Texas the county seat of Atascosa County gets NO respect. No one ever mentions Jourdanton. in the early part of the 20th century, Pleasanton was the county seat but then a bunch of people stole all the records, built a beautiful courthouse and jail in 1909 and the county seat was permanently moved to Jourdanton. Named for founder Jordan Campbell, all of my life we never got any recognition or respect. In my 68 years, I lived all 12 grades in Jourdanton before going to college in Arkansas. Oh well, can't win 'em all, right?
5:36 OK no. We have a Etiquette system here. You should look that up first. We treat people with respect here. An that includes not wearing hats indoors or defaming Beef.
5:10 OK another miss conception. We do not have Religion here. We KNOW of God not believe. Believing in God insinuates that hes is a myth. So we do not go to Church. Churches are only use to give tidings to to hand out food. You also are only suppose to go to Church on the Sabbath which is Saturday an we don't do that all the time. Its a day off. Even for the priest.
4:17 No we didn't We voted for Trump again. We did not vote for Biden. NO ONE VOTED FOR BIDEN! This is coming from a Democrat. When we have our choices for Democratic party. We pick people who best care about our needs an services. An want them to do what they are suppose to do. Vote on subjects an make changes accordingly. These people who are getting on the podium are SOCALIST NO ONE VOTED FOR! Our canidates NEVER get to represent themselves. So We As DEMOCRATS In Texas vote REPUBLICAN!
We do not use guns for hunting. We use them for self defense. We do not am for the head or the heart but to disarm and immobilize.
That isn't true. We do not love America. We would rather be an Independent. We frigging hate America. An their policies. Which is why we have our own policies.
Nice place to visit but I'll stay in Hawaii.
I got married in Hawaii. Very beautiful place. 🌴🍍
My family lives in Hollywood Park. I live in Hawaii and love visiting to see the missions and the riverwalk.
Hollywood Park, Missions, and Riverwalk are all wonderful places!
I need some help from you guys in San Antonio On September 20th of last year I ended up in a psychiatric emergency room Of Texas vista I was homeless at the time and had no phone Another patient there asked me what happened to you and I said I've had so much trauma the past few years I can't take it anymore and i burst into tears This man that was in the room comes over to me put his arms around me And let's me cry on his shoulder I didn't realize at the time but he started crying too and he said to me I'm gonna start looking for won't stop until I find you Just to make you happy And then we got into This real deep discussion About the different levels of h*** and how we want to send his abusers there And then I told him about a month earlier I had saved the man's life in Atlanta Georgia And his response was I want to spend my life with You Then we were about to have another deep discussion but then they called him to go up to the Psych unit And the look on his face cause he knew we were about to be separated The look on his face you could see His heart breaking As he was walking down the hall I called out to him I love you Aiden and he called back and said I love you Kevin And that was the last I saw of him I have been searching like crazy ever since for him but been unable to find him I'm hoping somebody that reads this will know him He's been to all the psyche units in San Antonio His name is Aidan Estrada he is about 36 Or 37 years old Shoulder length dark hair And he lives in San Antonio Please help I know that I want this man in my life for the rest of my life
as a former Seguin resident, I approve this. It's a good place to live, but I suggest certain places to stay away from: Growing up, anything near Ball Elementary (San Antonio Ave) was a gang warzone. Also, further north of that near I-10 in the trailer parks were crazy. Anything near Jefferson Elementary is ok. I grew up their in the 90's and it was all family friendly. Not too far from the wave pool and Starkce Park. Plus the new park and TLU.
This is awesome! I love hearing back from the locals since y’all know every road like the back your hand. Thank you for the comment and support! 🙏🏼🙌🏼
Pre-owned land? What the hell is that supposed to mean? All land is pre-owned. Settlers, the King of Spain, Native Americans, who knows who else…..
Everyone In Wilson county knows your name You are not their favorite
😂😆 Oh we’ll can’t please everyone! 🤷🏻♂️
Hill country is nice.
I’m from San Antonio and it’s too hot!
This past summer was kinda brutal 🥵☀️
Every place in Texas is super hot in the summer!
I'm from New Braunfels but I currently live in Seguin because it has that small town feel to it. New Braunfels used to have that small town feel to it like Seguin but not no more. Seguin is a lot more laid back than New Braunfels. I absolutely love Seguin.
Been in San Antonio Texas. since 1968 Hemisphere the World's fair.
That is Amazing! Love hearing from the locals! Thanks for the comment and support. 🙌🏼
Hello from La Vernia. I've lived here most of my life now, my family wanted to get out of SA because of the schools and growing violence so some of my mom's family members suggested we move out here. Back then the school was only 3A. We moved out here in 1995, lived in a trailer park for a couple years (lived through the big flood of 98 omg) and moved to our current home in December of 98 (we live on a hill now so no worries about flooding here). Only thing I would disagree with you is the food, LV now has a few good places to eat. Also, the town isn't as small as it use to be, while the city limits may only have 1,000, outside of the city limits is a lot bigger and I include these areas because they still have the LV address and kids still go to the school (which is now 4A). We're still the fastest growing community in Wilso County and it's big enough were you don't know everyone anymore. Like when my family did move out there, you could actually say that. Like my family wasn't exactly welcomed at first until they found out my mom was a Hilbig (and that's a well known last name out here, long with Koepp and others). It should be NOTED that in LV you'll find a good police force out here for in the past we've gotten these speed demons who think they can speed through LV, only to get caught by our local law enforcement lol. Okay I am going to brag about our school a bit, LV also has a great school system for we don't just teach to the "Standardized Test". I was lucky to have an amazing set of teachers when going to the HS, especially my art teacher (who's still there). LV always does great when it comes to art competitions. There's a school wide art competition called VASE (Visual Arts Scholastic Event) and I remember my senior year, I stayed behind to help out collect all of the LV's art entries so I got to see the 'awards ceremony' and fun fact, we won't more medals and sent more people to State than Judson, I am not kidding you lol. Even back into 2000, Judson was huge (big enough to be 6A back then) and a small 3A school beat it out hahaha. So proud. It's also no surprise when I see an LV student win at the art show for the SA Rodeo. One last thing to keep in mind about LV, get use to the smell. There's a lot of Ranches out here too with a lot of Livestock. LV has their own Livestock show too (and there's no school that day either).
This is awesome! Love to hear from the locals to give their perspective about their town and how passionate you are about it as well as your HS. Great feedback. I appreciate the comment and support. GO BEARS!
@@vivasanantonio347 What I am noticing is people who graduate from HS, a good chunk of them do end up returning here to raise their kids. One of my classmates who was head Cheerleader, she's now a teacher here. So the cycle still continues of family generations. Recently the School District decided to change the School Calander, turned it into a 4-day school week. This is to help the teachers more for they do get overwhelmed with work, so anything that helps our teachers, the better. It's actually a model that alot of European nations do, which I think more American schools should do since Europe's schools are so much better than ours.
@@Zodia195 Yes, I 100% agree on whatever helps our teachers! That is some good inside information. I had no idea about the 4 day school week. I'll be sure to share to pass that little golden nugget along. 👍
Remind them of the taxes
It should be noted that most surrounding counties are conservative by nature. You'll see signs of it all over Texas outside our big urban cities. So yeah, definitely be aware of it. But the people in these places we're all very nice and helpful.
Yes! Absolutely. Thanks for the comment!
Yes, definitely conservative 🤠
Vote Blue, eventually Texas will regain its sanity
Big cities tend to be more blue. Exurbs and rural areas are a red paradise, even it means voting against their own interest.
Appreciate the comment and support! 🙌
I really like converse.
I’ve helped plenty of families move to that area. It’s really nice. Are you available for a free phone consultation this week? This will just to go over timeframe and your situation. How does that sound?
@@vivasanantonio347 I'm down. I doubt you can get me into a house but I'd entertain the idea
@@jacktastick Out of curiosity why do you think that?
@@vivasanantonio347 i have to drive out that way fairly often and the flowers in the spring are beautiful outside of town. It's fairly close to the buccees in new Braunfels. Its also a little cheaper and I've made a lot of friends out there. I moved here a month before the pandemic hit so it was a weird time to make a big change but I genuinely love living in San Antonio. I'm from Colorado and all my family is still up there so I had to start my social circle from scratch. When I first moved here I was in converse, I'm currently in shavano park but I plan on moving back to the east side at the end of this year.
@@vivasanantonio347 I missed the context, I currently have poor credit and no down payment.
Are the snakes really that bad? some people have said they've never seen snakes. That's my biggest phobia but I need to get out of the frozen tundra.
Great question! Honestly, no there not that bad. Most of the snakes you’ll probably see will be out in the country area, in wooded area’s, near water or in secluded places. If you are planning to move here I would love to help you find the least snake free home! 😊 🏠 so you can get away from living in the cold and enjoy some sun! ☀️
Omg!!!! I was living in San Antonio for almost 5 years and You made me laugh when you pointed out about the classic debate which one is better In-N-out or WhatABurger!🤣🤣🤣 It’s TRUE! It’s worse than politics!😂
😂🤣 Whataburger aka Waterburger for life!! 😆😎
Moved from state of Illinois to San Antonio and love it never will move .this is my home been here 45years
That’s Amazing!!! Thank you for the comment and support! 🙏🏼🙌🏼
Moving there this spring , we might rent for a white then back to Seattle! Heard many videos about SA then now a bit scare to live there🙏🏼🙏🏼
San Antonio is an awesome city to live in and growing with tons of things to do. 👌🏼
@@vivasanantonio347 do you think which zip code is safe and the price is right?
@@HienNguyen-jg9bg Well my determination vs your determination of “Safe” maybe different. My go to for stats of the city is Niche.com this can be a starting point as you continue to do your research of the city. Hope this helps! 🙏🏼
Mexicans are traditionally Democrats so you aren’t going to like republicans I’ve been in San Antonio and haven’t ever seen a shoot out
Castroville needs some large govt housing projects. The Alsatians need lots of diversity.
Agreed if your looking for cheaper in castroville the village apartments are about 600 a month or by the regional park you could probably get a house for under 100,000
I have that type O blood...lol
Bro, just don’t go outside you’d be eaten alive! 😆
My least favorite thing about moving to San Antonio is the narrow roads. I can't believe how thin these roads are. It's insane.
Yeah, especially on some of these back roads! Be careful out there!

What about Bulverde or Shertz?!
Good areas as well. I just haven’t done a video on them just yet. Stay tuned. Do you plan on moving there?
What about Bulverde? We have great schools and Guadalupe State park
Haven’t done a video just yet, but stay tuned. Thank you for the comment!
The traffic on 281 makes Bulverde suck dogs balls.
Omygosh 😳 get MANY inspections! We just discovered a water leak in our new house 🥹💔.
Yes! Doesn't matter if the home is new or pre-owned. I always advise my clients to get the home inspected! 🕵♂
I need to start researching Drs in SA. My Mom and I are disabled and medically needy. We depend on our Team of Physicians, to live. We have 15 Drs here. It's hard to beat Houston when it comes to medical care. That's why I stayed here instead of moving to SA 🥹😬😔 although our family wants us there greatly......
Yeah, completely understand. Well if you ever decide to make the move we would love to serve you. Thanks again for all the support!!! 👍
Fascinating! Thank you! I never considered these areas....
Yes! These are some really good areas to consider if you ever decide to make the move from H-Town! 🙌
Fam wants us back in SA. But I'm in love with my city, Houston. I watch these videos for education 😁. My favorite areas are Cibolo and Schertz
I helped tons of people purchase homes in these areas. Cibolo and Schertz is a nice area and a hop skip and away from Downtown SA, New Braunfels, Gruene, and Austin! 🚙
Hi from Houston ❣️, your Sister City. I grew up in old SA. ❣️ AMEN to Texans loving God, Church, each other, our cities, our state, our country 🇺🇸🙏. And our food!! Lol 😆
Amen to that!!! 🙏 Thank you for your comment and support!!! ☺
Extremely helpful. Thank you.
Fantastic! Glad I could help. When do you plan on making a move out here?
As a liberal unorthodox Jew who moved here from Washington, San Antonio has a huge Jewish community. I love the diversity of all different backgrounds. You’re correct San Antonio is light blue meanwhile ATX is dark blue.
